it still dont matter if you have a good PC your fps does reach 200 with 60hz monitor

i second this

Do you not know how monitors work?
factsonly [#10]it still dont matter if you have a good PC your fps does reach 200 with 60hz monitor
yeah but you cant see the 200 fps if your monitor is locked with 60hz, mr. facts
delusional_sentinels_fan1 [#12]Do you not know how monitors work?
yea idk but i had on 60hz once and my PC is good so my game was smooth anyways
factsonly [#14]yea idk but i had on 60hz once and my PC is good so my game was smooth anyways
That's not how hz works. If your monitor is 60 Hz the most fps it can run is 60.

Good lord this just proves how much of a idiot you are holy shit man go learn some basic facts about monitors holy shit you are so fing brain dead
dexter000111 [#16]So he didn't have music at masters
And played on 60Hz in groups
What's next, he forgot to equip his reaver ?
60hz is actually important, you can't play professional matches and can't reach to great peeks.

k stfu ur a dumbass go rn set up monitor to 60hz go in valorant dm u will still get 200 fps depends if ur pc is good
also, 60hz FEELS SO different when running cursor in the window compare to 144hz
Trent uses 240hz and couldn't notice a difference?
stfu

60hz lock can't display 200 frames per second. He can have 1000 fps in-game but his monitor will only show 60/1000 frames per second.

No it doesn’t change in game fps but 60hz monitor doesn’t show any more than 60fps. You’re just clearly 10 years old if you can’t understand the difference. If your monitor is 60hz you will only see 60fps so it doesn’t matter what your in game is. I understand you can feel the difference. i haven’t played any game lower than 144hz in years so yeah of course I can feel the difference. Your point that the game still runs smoothly is just dumb as shit. I urge you to go do some research cause you are literally the dumbest kid on here. Go lick your dogs ass.
behroz [#24]this guy plays good as a player, but every loss he has some type of cheeky excuse, watch all his tweets after a loss. just man up and take the L
I mean he is a 17 y/o rust player that switched to Val like 3 months ago, give him some time.
Dokka [#27]Have you guys considered that this may not be an attempt at an excuse but rather admitting a dumb mistake
I never said they were saying it as an excuse, I just thought it would be funny to share but of course, everyone goes crazy

i am pretty sure he has been playing this game since beta

You’re being strangely hostile considering you’re missing a pretty big piece of this equation yourself. Yes - I doubt this person’s screen was visually as smooth as it would have been if he had a higher refresh rate monitor. Yes - a 60hz monitor can only display a new image 60 times per second. However, there can still be a significant visual difference between a 60hz monitor displaying 200 fps and 60 fps. There can even be a significant difference between two screens where one is 60hz 60 fps and the other is 60hz 60 fps. This is influenced by frame time, which measures time passing between frames being rendered. A computer running 60fps with consistent ~16.66ms of frame time will look significantly different than a computer running 60fps where multiple frames per second exceed 100ms render time.

I get that but the only issue is the industry standard for 60hz monitors is 16.6. It will be rare to find a 60hz monitor that exceeds the 16.6 time between frames. It would have to be a very low quality or old monitor. The biggest factor here that we both missed is the response time of the monitor. If it’s a low response time the number of in game frames will not effect the monitor too terribly much. If it’s a high response time that’s when ghosting happens.

Frame time isn't a measurement influenced by monitors. I'm not sure where you're getting that from. Frame time has to do with time taken to render each frame (a job a monitor is not responsible for). You're right that response time does make a visual difference, though.
chloeburbank [#6]remember when he lost at iceland they said "he couldnt listen to music, thats why we lost" buch of bs
He never said that was the reason they lost. ALOT of people with ADHD suffer from hyperfixation. Music tends to calm people down and help them focus. Maybe get statements right before you paint other people in a bad light.

tbh the coach never said the reason was "music" he just said that the vibes of the boys was not like at home in NA, like they did not live a normal life and "music" was just an example.

I think you need to listen to mce's interview again, he was humble and said multiple times that optic and prx were simply better than them, he just mentioned the music to add further explanation as to why their performances might not have been on par with their challengers level (along with saya's box, their lack of experience, nerves, etc.)

They where salty that they couldn't live up to the hype and those statements where def trying to show prx's performance down.
