emea ascension was going on for a long time, and with more teams. These teams needed to scrim teams that weren't other ascension teams (to avoid leaking strats). this means that 2G could've scrimmed pretty much all of them and gotten more experience.

In contrast, in NA, it was probably only premier teams and very early trials actually scrimming. this means that the teams in emea had higher scrim quality.

im saying that EU t2 has more scrims with better teams (emea ascension had wayyy more teams) and most teams in americas stopped playing right after the challengers leagues stopped.

posted about a year ago

lmfao what im just saying it was probably a smart decision from them and something other americas teams could look into in the future for ascension so they can get better scrims

posted about a year ago

tracker shows that all 5 of them were playing in EU ranked 2-3 weeks ago https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/2G%20sileNt8z%23mari/overview

thought it was of note, since they were definitely able to get higher quality scrims in the t2 "offseason" compared to NA (m80 bootcamped in toronto)

was mainly talking about how historically NA teams have always been atleast 3 americans, meaning the core was an american team, not a canadian team, which m80 is.

posted about a year ago

do u know if they're gonna cover americas soon? also thanks for doing it its very appreciated

posted about a year ago

canada has always been overshadowed by Americans in VCT, but with m80 we finally have a team that is majority Canadian. today we are going to witness greatness when they win ascension today, then see them face g2 next year and win the rematch (revenge for last year).

Hello fans.

As all of you know, Made in Brampton has previously been in a rivalry with VLR team Seulgi Fanclub.

However, it is come to my attention that not only have they won a map on VLR, but they have one an entire series in a MFH.

I would like to concede defeat in this rivalry (for now) and congratulate Seulgi Fanclub on their victory down below:

https://www.vlr.gg/406067/low9-vs-seulgi-fanclub-the-funhaver-invitational-fight-or-flight-2-elim-f/?game=185239&tab=overview

However, soon we will try to duel Seulgi Fanclub for all of VLR to see, to see which team is greater.

Thank you for reading,
Zombzino

i mean it didnt work for everybody

you could probably make the assumption that the teams that still ran the standard comp tried deadlock and scrims and didnt like it or it wasnt working for them, so they committed to their normal comp.

with so much hype around a comp on a map that has had the same meta for 2 years i think every team tried it atleast once

nah m80 will be better than sen next year

pretty sure drewsparks was one of the main people pushing deadlock for the team and it went really bad, but i could be wrong

where did i say americas production is any better? lmfao. im talking about emea because its literally happening right now, and mainly the fact that the grand finals (the most important t2 match of the year) still has issues that even t3 tournaments can fix.

posted about a year ago

you'd think by the grand finals they would finally be able to sync up the audio with the gameplay, but still no!

sen tweeted the chair again thats more important

league is riot's other game which is the biggest esport in the world.

there was an expectation for valorant by orgs that there would be a similarish system in valorant, which is why you saw so many orgs from 2020-2022, in the hopes that it would boost their chances to get accepted into the franchise system.

i mean, look at most of the t2 orgs who were never even competitive still apply to the franchise then leave after it happened. they were in it simply for the franchise since it is so financially relieving for the orgs involved.

those other games you mentioned are typically big investments that dont yield the same profit that a franchise system does.

posted about a year ago

its the beginning of the offseason, what else would they report on? the whole point of this website is to learn about roster moves and look at tournaments. with no tournaments, what else is there?

posted about a year ago

franchising is fine they just need to make tier 2 better.

but if you look in 2020-2022, the reason so many orgs were in the scene is because they were in it for the franchising system specifically, since there is no financial reason for to invest without some sort of franchise system in place. its the reason t2 has so little orgs now.

obviously its fucked up that people lose jobs at the end of the year but thats esports and its volatile and i think most if not all pros and aspiring pros know that

This aspas "baiting" playstyle is a new thing that is specific to LEV. if you see the way he used to play on Loud, he wasn't afraid to run it down and die if he had to. LEV just had this playstyle where they would purposely set aspas up to be last alive in crucial rounds like 2v2 and 3v3s. The plan revolved around c0m or mazino going in first after they had used all their utility and get aspas to trade them (which he was usually good for)

this can further be proven by LEV's abyss, where aspas would constantly use the operator on attack, causing him to have low first engagement%. vlr b0ts look at these stats and blame him for baiting when it is 100% a team/coach idea.

but yes you are correct in their skill being both very close, i just think that they are both similar players (maybe aspas > jett and zekken > raze) but I think it's a common misconception that aspas is a baiter.

tldr: aspas no bait and lev coach is at "fault" for this playstyle

pov i dont watch valorant and rage bait all day
