yeah after properly watching the geng game i understand why you would say that. i still think athan just had a bad day today, but the rest of his team stepped up. hyunmin does look very good in this match though so i might have been wrong.

a top tier team has to be firing on all cylinders. if any of the players are holding back, then this iteration might meet the same fate as previous versions of DRX. valorant is a 5v5 game where all the players, especially the duelist, need to be doing their job. and hyunmins job is to look for the opening and that first duel, and win it more of the time than not. he is still very good, but for DRX to take the title of best in the region or to be a contender for a masters or champions, i still think that i need to see more from hyunmin.

G2 also lost to C9. idk what to think anymore.

honestly atm geng looks like they fell off a bit. foxy9 from meteor was too big of a downgrade to replace. T1 looks good but they are not as good as peak geng 2024 imo. DRX is decent for now but their success depends on hyunmin performing. T1 has a lot of good players but idk about sylvan i think he might hold this team back.

Oh, that's so funny that you think c9 will make any international tournaments! Didn't you know? C9s entire thing is that they are red bull home ground merchants. They might make it to playoffs in stage 1 or something, but they will most certainly choke when it comes to going to the international tournaments.

I think at any elo it will be quite strong on anti eco rounds like 3rd round because only the sheriff can one tap you with the regen shield at any range. It doesn't seem too bad in my opinion.

I knew from his fortnite days that he was passionate about succeeding and he has shown it again through his time in pro valorant. He is probably one of the most hard working pros in all of tier 1 valorant. It's not easy to go pro in two completely separate games but he made it look easy and is actually doing very well.

I honestly like the darker days because my favourite time of day is sunset and sunrise, and getting to see the sunrise and sunset on my way to and from university is nice. And the dark doesn't bother me too much either. As someone who lives in a country and city known for being gloomy, it feels good when it's freezing but clear skies when it gets really dry in winter. And as I said on a different post, the vibes from Christmas kind of save the winter season. The lights and happiness bring my mood up, even if I don't celebrate Christmas.

Christmas vibes are so nice though. I don't celebrate it but I get excited seeing all the lights put up and stuff around my neighbourhood and city. It's nice. But autumn is my favourite. I love the sunsets and it's not too cold yet.

Agreed. There are foods that don't have to be spicy to taste good. The flavour of caramelised onions is not spicy but it's probably one of my favourite flavours in food, it's just too good when combined with other things correctly. Most of my mother's cooking is not excessively spicy, even though the food is traditionally meant to be spicy, and I really enjoy her style of cooking.
Tldr: Food doesn't need to be spicy to be flavourful and delicious.

Then why did they look sloppy and bad from the very beginning of the match?? This is a new team, they simply aren't going to be good at playing together. There's no reason why they should have been losing if they traded effectively and worked together. This was the same problem yesterday too

No it's fundamentals. Do you see how geng plays? They move as a unit, even when they are losing. Karon, texture and munchkin move with the same plan and the same idea in their minds when they make a play. Every move they make is thought out and works towards the play succeeding. Drx used to be like that at their best, but not any more. Maybe it was first tournament jitters from the new drx players but the team work that other teams have shown can't be seen from them. Individual plays have carried them through the tournament, along with fpx being really bad. Stop coping, it would be better if you accepted their shortcomings instead of lying to yourself and the rest of us when you try to convince yourself that drx is perfect. It's ok for a team to be bad after roster changes. No one expected them to be perfect. They just need to work those problems out before the 2025 season begins.
