Without cNed starting they might even be good enough for Tier 1 CN.
They're all EU pilled unfortunately. Nothing we can do besides watch them embarrass themselves.

Once it happens, maybe FUT can land a Tier 2 spot in some other region (besides Americas), it's not all that bad really.

2023 Champs top 4 were significantly stronger than this year's top 4 so far, so no not really.
I was just thinking the same thing!
Only strong teams mentioned were ENVY and Gambit, and we both know it was a massive fluke (see OPTIC, FPX, and Acend after Champions 2021).
Explain how EG embarrassing everyone but FNC in their first international even then haha. How'd they beat PRX? Give it up.

EG didn't qualify for anything before Masters Tokyo and look at where they placed, stop using that poor excuse. This "experience" talk is beyond outdated, FNC lost to KC despite keeping their roster that they were successful with last year.

Had to listen to these guys hard glaze KC and TH for almost three weeks just because they qualified for a tournament that FNC couldn't. Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt or whatever, your region is bad because they are bad. Don't start with all of that "upset" talk please.

Lotus was FNC's pick and EG still brought the series to a very close map 3, don't know how you think that makes the series look dominant for FNC haha. You're coming off as very biased with that one.
Again, you're rating the importance of Champions to the same value as Masters + LOCK//IN when one of these tournament is literally an open bracket single tourney elim with nothing on the line. If any other region won LOCK//IN then I still wouldn't care about it.

EG took FNC to a very, very close first match despite the fact that FNC were the heavy favourites, and in all honesty their 3-0 loss that looked really close for each map was 90% due to the map veto advantage FNC had for winning their first series against them because of how different their map pools are. If EG had the advantage then it would've been a 3-0 for them, they just don't mesh well together when it comes to map pools and pros like Ethan have backed up that claim.
A million-dollar Champions trophy is definitely more valuable than a Masters + LOCK//IN win, almost double in value and prestige to be exact. Again I'm just being objective.
That last sentence is just silly haha.
FNC were not the best team of the EMEA League, and if you seriously want to count that LOCK//IN so badly when there are way more factors to count that tourney out than not is whatever. I'm just being objective here.

OPTIC placed 2nd in Champs and won a Masters. Infinitely better than FNC's 4th place for Champs and 2nd place finish for the EMEA League.
LOCK//IN really has no meaning, even less than winning Kick Off so I don't understand why we're counting that.
They were not 1st in EMEA haha.
Everything else is respectable, however 4th in Champs (the most important event) by being embarrassed twice by LOUD is just proof that EG had the better year.
If you think FNC being the only relevant EMEA team last year while the rest are getting repeatedly washed by literally everyone makes them the best region then you are misguided and misinformed.
"one team just far ahead of everyone else" That really only goes for GAMBIT (technically a CIS team, not even EU) respectfully and I'm talking about comparing entire regions with all of their teams.
Best team of 2022 was OPTIC, if not then LOUD
Best team of 2023 was EG
They always had a single team 1v9 carrying their entire region every year, yet their delusional fans and a bunch of outsiders that got pilled have been convinced that at SOME POINT, EU/EMEA was the best.
2021 - Despite the fact that CIS isn't even EU, I'm still going to mention the hard carry by GAMBIT because the common belief right now is that CIS is part of EMEA which just isn't true, so technically for this year, ACEND that hard fluked their champs win with the easiest road ever was their best team.
2022 - Hard carried by FPX (indisputable)
2023 - Hard carried by FNC (indisputable)
2024 - No hard carry = exposed as being the worst region.
The info only speaks for itself, so can we please stop pushing this false narrative that EMEA now is suddenly bad, they've always been bad.
Those guys need to wake up, EMEA has always been ass and just because FNC, FPX, and GAMBIT had to literally make the region relevant themselves for their years does NOT mean they've ever been the best region (ACEND was a massive undisputed fluke). These guys need to look over their biases and get over it.
