You could also argue that SEN and Loud both picked up their slack before the last game but it was still that close. The more speculations we make the more unpredictable it gets. But it is indeed a possibility so the upper final could go either way.

I totally agree! Lakia showed some kind of improvement against PRX already and if they keep that momentum I think SEN will have a hard time especially after such a nailbiter series against Loud.

I don't get the point with level of competition because we saw enough at Masters so we don't have to consider regionals right now imo. At Masters SEN only beat Loud and EMEA (poor guys over here...). GenG beat EDG, PRX and Loud so they had the harder games I think and still won every game.

I think it's pretty much a 50/50 and I'm very hyped for the match tomorrow, hopefully we'll get the banger we deserve!

I think the problem is that some teams are generally great and without anti strats or practice they would crush every other team (like kickoff group stage), and other teams are great anti strat teams that can crush every team with enough practice (kickoff playoffs). For me personally the anti strat part is more important so I think losing in playoffs makes the team worse although the other team lost in the group stage already. But that's my personal opinion, I understand what you're saying too.

At least the #1 team from every region right now is there. Maybe not the #2 team because they could've been eliminated by the #1 team in kickoff playoffs but having the single best team from every region is at least something.

edit: I totally agree that the format was stupid and rito needs to improve their planning but at least there's a little bit of optimism left ^-^
