I don't think BBL is a bad team at all. This post isn't a hate post against them. This would've been made for FNC regardless of the team they were playing. I'm just trying to say they look so fucking lost.

I mean they were good in Champs. They obviously didn't win but played well at the very least. Sure some of their current matches are close but it feels like it takes a heroic effort from either Chronicle, Leo or Derke to win. It feels like there's no cohesion anymore.

I am truly baffled as to what is happening. This will be a serious post, no troll. FNC were smacking everyone in 2023, not even a year ago. Genuinely wondering what happened. The meta has seen some changes and I understand that. Gekko, Raze, and some other agents have developed well but it's not like FNC are playing comps that are completely troll either.

So we all know about the showmatches during events. I was cooking up something and I genuinely believe its a great idea.

So to either replace the showmatch or add on top of it, you would take the teams that placed 3rd and 4th (not playing in finals) and replace 1-2 of their players with just an average player. Someone from the crowd could apply for it and fill in. Then you just play the games but with average people on both teams to either see how hilariously bad they are, or to see a miracle and find the random farming pros. Either way I think would be super fun to watch. Imagine some random dude in a 1v3 clutching up, would lowkey be fun to watch.

As someone who plays both league and valorant, the meta definitely switches a lot more in League so you see a variety of champs being played even with the absurd amount there are. Obviously, some will be busted and be must-play but for the most part, pro matches and ranked tend to feature a lot of different champs.

In Valorant, you can play the same meta lineup for years at a somewhat effective level (look at Fnatic). When I first started playing league it was so fucking overwhelming learning all the champs and their abilities but once you get that down it actually is fun to go outside your comfort zone and play new champs even if they're not meta.

It works in league of legends because there are like 150+ champions to ban. Some of these champions overlap and can do the same thing. The agent pool is too small right now to effectively have bans. I do see it happening long-term once there's like 50+ agents though.
