I wasn't particularly impressed with makiba, barce is literally a brim specialist, ade was a good shout but I feel like he's only solid on viper, and kaminari is also a good shout but too inconsistent.

I've been watching worlds and some analysts described DFM as "the Exodia of LJL." I wanna theory-craft to make "the Exodia of VCT Japan."

My team would be

Laz
Seoldam
Ten
Munchkin
Neth

Thoughts? What would your Japan superteam be?

I have G2 winning this match

But I won't lie: the brother buff is looking strong.

I do hope that this game is banger, and not a complete stomp.

what a fun match fr

never knew how hype the brazilian cast is.

For real though, bonkar should've been dropped sooner.

no way Envy chose chet over mikes.

Chet hasn't done well tbh: the NRG project was a mess (still is), and TSM showed some promise but couldn't pull through.

I don't know about this Envy move, but it may work?

Oh no Bunny still playing Jett.

Not a good sign on their elimination map.

posted about 3 years ago

Fennel looking pretty good. Mittiii is popping off, Jinx is active on Jett, TENSAI always been solid. I thought they would a bottom 2 team this tourney but damn they are looking good.

F4Q on the other hand look… lost. The Bunny Jett isn’t hitting. His Raze has always gave teams trouble, his Jett doesn’t.

rito being questionable

only his first match with GenG, of course he would look a bit rusty.

posted about 3 years ago

that was a tragic ending. Ethan barely had enough time and both the GenG players pushed through and ended up getting killed.

Fun match for sure.

One of the most underrated players. Don't sleep on this guy.

Who wins? Personally I feel the XSET win.

I'm a PRX believer now. These guys can do some serious damage and actually get into champions.

Mete0r better than t3xture

They lined up. It happens.

I don't think that's indicative of PRX beefing, but more of skillZ getting the clutch.

Northeption SLAPPING

Seoldam and Ten are the saving graces for NTH. They are just so good, and this is aside from stats; Ten has looked like the number two even in Japan Challengers.

already got boomed after DWG-GE

posted about 3 years ago

i would argue that latam is better than brazil, but not better than japan IMO.

Reject is actually looking pretty good. I really believed that RC would get smoked by FS, but damn, they are proving me and the doubters wrong. SamuraiD is looking nasty on the op, and NoriseN is putting in the work.

I don't care if my pickems get boomed, this is a really entertaining match.

Lmao okay bud, registered October 12th.

ZETA placed higher than Havan Liberty and took Japan's very first map off of KRU.

Crazy Racoon took Gambit, the current best team in the world, to OT, and nearly went to a map 3, even though they got whopped by Gambit the match prior 13-1 twice.

Fennel gave Indonesia's best team, BOOM, a hard time.

Reject -- who are considered the underdogs in this match -- has their analyst standing in, and a trial player who is performing way above expectations.

Oh not to mention that a Japanese team racked the 5th highest viewership in Berlin.

Try again bud.

I had Australs making a hot lower bracket run, but I didn't expect a hot upper bracket run.

Great stuff Australs.

BOOM doing... alright. Flipzjder and frostmind doing well, everyone else is pulling their weight. Fennel on the other hand are struggling. They look really sloppy, Jinx has never been good on Jett, would rather put Mittiii on it, and TENSAI is carrying this team.

Fennel hasn't looked good on Icebox, and I believe BOOM can pull it off.

Dep is taking a break from pro play, and i dont know about HaReee.

posted about 3 years ago

It's an obscure manga called Wolf Guy

Ik the name is kinda funny, but the manga is FAR FAR from that. It is intense as hell.

EMEA and Japan

Well REJECT might lose this one quite badly. They don't have Dep (their star Jett/Sova player) nor HaReee (their secondary duelist/Sage). Their 2 star players are out and in their places are their analyst (Skeyy) and a player that hasn't played since March (SamuraiDeeper). I have a bit of faith in Kaminari to pull his weight but damn, it will be insanely hard.

Full Sense is already a pretty good team in SEA and I genuinely think they can smoke REJECT.

2-0 FS

I would too, but considering the whole "beef," might not be good for chemistry

Secret, since they have more time to prepare for champions and can fuck around, whereas PRX has to play LCQ in a week.

Didn't they release everyone but naTz?

Did they even announce a new roster for this tourney?

One thing about Temperature is that he is CRAZY flexible. He can play from sentinels to Sova to controllers, which was his original role on Moon Raccoons. This does beg the question if one of NaturE, Shawn or Koosta is switching to duelist, and one of Temp, NaturE or Koosta will play sentinels.

All things considered, he is a great replacement for MkaeL and GenG can make some serious noise in LCQ.
