It's the year 2045. The Earth is a barren wasteland. Civilization, as we know it, has crumbled. Society, as we know, has collapsed. There is no hope. Just despair. Why? Because Global Esports vs Vitality hasn't started.

all I want is Spring and Eren in the league.

Spring, especially. The dude is a menace on duelist and smokes. He deserves better than NIP, though NIP shouldn't be a bad team on paper.

T1 2-1 but can even be 2-0 with how they performed.

I’m glad to be proven wrong.

T1 look nuts. They really do have the makings of a world-class team.

posted about 2 years ago

It is possible they can definitely do that.

But even as a T1 believer, I don't think they will.

EMEA - FNC
EMEA - NAVI
Pacific - PRX
Pacific - DRX (T1 looks like the next best pick)
China - EDG
China - FPX (RA if they find a suitable replacement for yoman)

I think T1 will lose, even as a T1 believer.

Not that they are bad, in fact they seem to have the makings of a world class team.

It’s just that EDG have better synergy and chemistry and has been improving tournament after tournament.

2-1 EDG.

So Saya, xeta, xccurate, and Rossy are starting for sure; thus, the fifth is between iZu, k1ng, and Carpe.

Despite not knowing the fifth, Liquipedia is assuming that iZu is starting.

How does the following sound?
Saya - Duelist
xeta - initiator
xccurate - controller? sentinel?
rossy - flex
iZu - controller?

I won't lie, adding Rossy put a wrench in T1; nonetheless still excited to see the roster play.

I might be delusional to say this but I’m convinced if PRX signed Enerii for whatever reason, they’d still be a top tier team and won’t be missing the “jinggg element.”

Well, ZETA can't win them all.

The ideas are there, but they just got heavily aim-diffed.

Dismally Fading Momentum is a clever one.

Perfectly describes their org’s rep in Japan.

Scary team in the making.

Just a bit more assimilation for yuran and hiroronn, and they'll be a world-class team.

ZETA are better than GEN.G and RRQ

ZETA > RRQ > Gen.G

Their:

  • DUELIST is on Cypher
  • smokes is on Raze
  • initiator is on Phoenix
  • flex is on Reyna
  • sentinel is on Neon

The aim diff is real.

Are there any left-handed players? As an ambidextrous (though favouring right-side more) individual, I haven't seen a lot of lefties.

From tier one to GC and even collegiate.

posted about 2 years ago

I hope Lizhi gets better, but this slightly nerfs EDG.

They still have Clem, and she is INSANE. Yusin is solid too so they’ll do enough to make a deep run.

posted about 2 years ago

one on hand, thank god DFM are making a decent roster that can please national and international fans.

on the other, kind of iffy that DFM are signing a slumping Crazy Raccoon core. They aren't as strong as they used to be but with JoXJo at the lead, I'm sure DFM can be marginally competitive.

Royal Never Pay Up headass

According to FlyNN's "latest" spreadsheet, DFM were set to pick up:

  • allow
  • lakia

and keeping

  • anthem
  • takej (though unlikely)
  • xnfri (though unlikely)
  • suggest

Since then, the following happened:

  • lakia: went to Gen.G (partnership team)
  • allow: went to IGZIST (JP Challengers)
  • takej: became a streamer
  • xnfri: went to VARREL (JP Challengers)
  • anthem: staying, though rumours of scrimming with FENNEL (JP Challengers)
  • suggest: staying

Rumour is that they are re-signing SSeeS, a former player of DFM's 2022 roster and Melofovia's ex-teammate from his PUBG days.

So who the fuck is DFM picking up if players prefer to play for the tier 2 scene 💀

Similar list but I'd switch TL and EDGS.

Oh, and Faker will get his long-awaited 4th title, while one of Zeus or Guma will be named MVP.

T1 3-1.

T1 clears for sure.

Who do WBG have? pl1xx? That's it?

T1 have always been more complete with Saya and xeta at the helm. Add in Rossy, xccurate, and one of k1ng and iZu, T1 WILL win.

KOI and T1

They have solid cores and clout behind the organization. I have been a T1 believer since 2020 (yes, back when brax, AZK, Ska, Curry, Auti, DaZeD, Spyder, etc. were all part of the roster), so I want them to go farther than a group stage exit. They seem to be in a good place rn, but only time will tell if Autumn overcooked with the seven-man roster.

KOI have a great core -- Trexx and Sheydos are beasts, and starxo isn't that bad. I had high hopes for them last year, but they ultimately crumbled. This year, they were linked with many high-profile talent but were unlucky to get snubbed. Kamo seems like a solid pick up, and ShadoW has the tier-one experience, but, on paper, they look very ehh. I hope they become a league contender, possibly even make masters.

This is unbelievably embarrassing.

I always thought DFM had a respectable reputation but after this year’s horrendous fiasco with the LoL team, it has left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth — Japanese and esports fans alike.

Including the fact that DFM only won TWO MAPS last season and their last win was in May 2022 people really don’t believe in them. Hell, their current players don’t either.

DFM need to get their shit together ASAP or it’s going to be another 0-10 season.
