  1. Chainsaw Man is alright. It’s a solid series but not thought provoking and intense like everyone says. The female cast (aside from Makima and Power to some extent) is one-dimensional as hell and somewhat bland.

  2. Fire Force is unwatchable garbage. There’s really nothing “creative” about it. The characters are very one-dimensional and sometimes really annoying, the way the series uses Tamaki’s “fan service” is extremely concerning, and the storytelling can get convoluted sometimes.

unironically, no something no win.

DRX 2-0 unless they fumble a map for whatever reason.

We’ve internally discussed holding off an article unless new information came out. But by the time it came out, we decided that the time already passed to write an article, thus going to NAM.

Don’t think we didn’t write one because we didn’t want to.

That being said, Rest In Peace Twisten. And for anyone out there, you are all loved by someone. Stay healthy and safe <3

I've seen a lot of hate on yay recently due to his performance at DSG. Many call him washed, Chamber one-trick, or a bad player.

Now about Demon1: he was rumoured to be a DSG pick-up, and he was brushed off as a bench tier 3 player when EG picked him up -- as many were clowning the organization for picking up such a player. Hell, some people were saying he was better off playing with DSG than EG. But look where he and EG are at now: a Masters AND Champions representative; EG made it this far because of Demon1, who frankly has been a demon due to a stable system around him. Now, the narrative has shifted that EG are nothing without Demon1 and will struggle at Tokyo without him.

Now imagine he did get picked up by DSG. Would DSG have done better with him? Maybe or maybe not, but one thing is certain: he wouldn't have had the same clout and in-game presence as he has now. He'd be a promising prodigy, but that's all he'd be, not the world-beater he is currently. But what about the current Demon1 on the current DSG? Oh, they'd STILL get relegated.

Valorant has taught us time and time again that a good coach matters and a good system matters. Look at how SO MANY teams (Sentinels are a great example) struggled because they didn't have one or the other. Yay is only one player out of five -- he alone can't carry a team. But I won't excuse that he doesn't look uncomfortable on Jett. He has not been performing up to par as many others. However, the argument that Derke, Aspas, Something, and even current Demon1 would carry DSG is honestly laughable. They'd struggle because they wouldn't have a functioning system around them, maybe even more than yay.

Is yay washed? Probably not. Is yay a bad player? Probably not. Is yay the reason DSG failed? Absolutely not. Would anyone else other than yay have made the current DSG marginally competitive? Absolutely not.

TL;DR: yay isn't why DSG failed; Demon1 wouldn't have the same level of presence as he has now on EG if he were on DSG.

My ideal format would be the 9th and 10th seed playing for a last spot in a 6 team bracket.

The winner of that last spot will play against the 6th seed in the 4th seed bracket, while 7th and 8th play in the 5th seed bracket.

Then the standard 6 team bracket.

Panthers because they folded the entire eastern conference in half.

Took out the number 1 seed Boston, rolled the Leafs, and embarrassed Carolina.

The goats Hornqvist and Bobby will finally get their cup after suffering on mid teams for the past 3 years.

FL CLZ to some extent but not a lot either.
IGZ GangPin had potential but a) he’s Korean and b) IGZ wanted to put him on flex for whatever reason.

Unless nationality doesn’t matter, then SZ Jemk1n and JDT iZu. These two are currently the top two Jetts in VCL Japan. They’re making strong cases to be picked up for next year.

If we’re talking subs, Alpha from CGZ. I’ve came across his stream once and he was ego peeking SO many duels.

But yes, Japan is in a dire need of an unhinged, insane Jett players.

DRX, PRX, FNATIC, and NRG have big fanbases in Japan.

Nothing to worry about at all.

The real ZETA team won today.

On the other hand, T1 has been looking really good. The years of being a T1 fan have finally paid off. The OW boys have the experience and knowledge to pull through and qualify for Masters.

Time for T1 to start their international revenge arc.

posted about a year ago

Unfortunate outcome for ZETA, i really wanted to see them perform in front of their adoring crowd, at their home country. But sometimes we don’t get the things we want :/ Hopefully ZETA improve on their timings and retakes. They seem like favourites for LCQ rn though.

posted about a year ago

Two of my favourite teams, but only one can make it.

T1 has players I’ve been following since they’ve been in OWL and are genuinely good in both games + I’ve been a huge fan of the T1 org since 2020 (yes when they had brax, azk, curry, steel, autimatic, ska, Spyder). While ZETA are the only Japanese squad in the league, have players that have been staples in the Japanese scene and can go toe-to-toe against the world’s best.

I don’t mind who makes it out of here, but i want ZETA to qualify.

posted about a year ago

Actual meaningless match.

I hope DFM try and get THE win.

posted about a year ago

Incredibly important match for both teams. Whoever wins here is going to playoffs.

Given that TS won against DRX and also wins against GE, the winner of ZETA-Gen.G is going to playoffs too.

But if TS lose against GE, then both ZETA and Gen.G are in because of H2H differential.

Flat ending to a banger series.

Copying the NRG comp won’t make their Bind miraculously better.

Makiba really was not the pickup for smokes.

CLOSER game on map 2, but ZETA were too flustered with the aggressive responses from PRX.

Still in for playoffs though, just on the edge of.

The hell are G2 doing?

OXY and Wippie really do deserve better.

posted about a year ago

Really tough to tell who’s going to win.

FL lost in a relatively close game against SCARZ and somehow nearly lost to CGZ, while CR got hard stomped by JDT and beat SZ convincingly.

I’m going 2-1 FL.

posted about a year ago

Another win for JDT.

iZu and TenTen are gonna duel it out though.

EG really should’ve cashed in on Add3r.

Dobsha clearly deserves a better team.

If KRU still want to rely on LATAM talent, Dobsha and Feniz better be their top priority.

What’s with the NRG doubt lately?

Do people seriously believe that NRG is a super dogshit-tier team that’ll get steamrolled by 100T? So much so, people think they’re only ahead of KRU and EG?

They only lost to LEV (who were hardly a pushover), MIBR (who had very, very close showings on all the maps), and C9 (who are on the up-and-up, and whose prep was better).

Granted, this will age like milk if NRG lose, but for now, why doubt them?

posted about a year ago

I’m telling you, Xiaonuo on smokes is a cheat code to win.

posted about a year ago

DFM, they came very close. Actually good showing from them.

Just a little bit more, and the scoreline would’ve been different.

posted about a year ago

Giving me KOI vs KC vibes: the upper middle of the pack team vs the underdogs trying to prove their worth in the league — in DFM’s case, get their first win.
