CN for sure but APAC nah. The only disappointing APAC placement so far was PRX in Shanghai
it looks less like PRX and more like how some teams looked a few season ago. they have really good calls & mid-round decisions but then someone overheats and screws everything over
they cut the shit and actually fix their fundamental mistakes. they can't cook their way out of losing rounds while up 2 players. even if they don't make playoffs there's still a really good base to build on to transform them into a world class team for next year
he might have his lows but he still comes up when it matters; as is life itself
i don't think a whole lotta ppl sincerely have a lack of respect for China--it's mostly ragebaiters that are saying "tier 2 region" and other insults. also i don't really think it matters considering most of the international competition by now have learned not to underestimate their abilities
eh a lot of the Chinese team's strategies have legs to them. the discipline is definitely the barrier that fucks them over the most. most of the rounds in the region aren't shit overall, it's a team playing pretty fucking decent and throwing it away in one shitty moment that then snowballs
THEY FAKED THE SITE A SECOND TIME ‼️‼️
ANOTHER 4K FOR KARON 🗣️🗣️
even if a grand throne has a chip in it it's still a fucking throne
no excuses either they're really the definition of grindset
fr the only correct answer
Sayonara jett on an off day diffs that fraud
w script but you might wanna get checked for your schizophrenia
nope but i thought SEN would win their map pick or at least make 2 maps close
i don't know what I'm on about either idk how baiters just come up with shit all the time
only EU teams can somehow make the game so fucking boring
a bare minimum that some EU teams can't even achieve
the difference between GENG and the EU teams is that they don't flop on their face whenever they exec
the only situation where they don't is if somehow military service comes into play, which is already a very, very unlikely thing to happen next year
i respect the confidence! I'd be down for another Madrid storyline. a close bo3 into close lower final into another close bo5 would be a banger ending to the year
on the contrary I think this meta is quite entertaining! way more diversity than last season when it comes to playstyles, but I do share hopes that the next initiator will be relevant enough to shape the landscape
in that case how long do you think Americas will be like that for? Also what would you say are everyone else's chances at facing against the AMER powerhouses?
started geology this semester & don't really intend to switch. however, if i were to abandon it then i'd most likely go into climatology tbh. cs isn't bad but you gotta make sure it's something you personally love to do. i know some people who pursued it and have completely no passion because they initially took it up due to the big hype some time ago. outside of that tho you should be fine
i could see that happening next year honestly if things internally go really well for them during the off-season
valorant mobile would probably pop off in India & the middle east, too. personally I have belief in RIOT being competent enough to keep the scene well alive for at least the next 10 years in the west
Team Secret eat Clown9 alive
what are some of your predictions/reads on how the game will look 2-5 years from now? can be relating to either the e-sports scene, specific teams, or the game itself
watch the vods. the fact you're up this late to begin with means that it ain't really a problem for you
yeah ppl like to downplay how much Frost has helped the team and it boggles my mind. He has good reads on the meta but doesn't cook too much towards the threshold of WTF. The individual skill on Talon is inconsistent but their general fundamentals are really solid & if they're not throwing they can punch up very well
what market? The African gaming market is dominated by mobile games and it's not even close. If valorant mobile takes off I can see Africa being a powerhouse region but for the pc version i don't see it ever getting to a point in the short or medium term where it gets enough investment from either RIOT or orgs to be sustainable
Vitality are good but between the two Talon are more likely to pull something out of their ass strats-wise to win
I meant more that there aren't really any orgs that are on the same scale as the Chinese, Pacific, Americas, and EU powerhouses. even if they did have a tier 2 region it'd be largely comprised of smaller orgs & F/A teams that get picked up by foreign orgs to fill the vacuum
allocate 30 minutes to an hour of just walking/jogging/running, brush your teeth after you eat breakfast & dinner to better avoid cravings, and if you have trouble controlling yourself with eating certain foods simply don't buy them
volume is by far the most important, since it means that a country/region has more longevity when it comes to talent. they don't need to rely on a single generation of superstars to foster results, since they can simply plunge back into the pool of upcoming players and foster some more
the bare minimum is cleanser into moisturizer & sunscreen. add a retinoid & serum if you aren't clearing up after a decent while (don't change routine until a few weeks pass MINIMUM)
if you want the best results long-term what archetype said in #20 is pretty much what you want
no servers, small talent pool, zero investment from RIOT as a region, no relevant orgs, and the few players who are there that are terrible stay terrible due to factors mentioned previously. the region is fucked from the start. at least MENA still has some legs as a league despite the lower player count to support & cultivate their playerbase, but the rest of the continent is shafted by various political and economic reasons that kill the potential of the region by preventing its establishment
the CIS diaspora
it is lol. not gonna stop looking anytime soon tho
thx man. been going well so far!
