shat themselves against EDG and choked against FPX

posted 9 months ago

eh don't count on it

posted 9 months ago

nah they have slk now it'll get better next year

thank GOD they rescued him from Tyloo

I'm talking more about long-term player investment, not the way EMEA teams bring out value in their individual players. TH is the perfect example of this because they went through the trouble of actually developing their entire team that was comprised of undervalued talent

posted 9 months ago

heavily disagree on the Americas talent tbh. Tier 2 is filled with rich and diverse players that can provide value, it's just that Americas (both NA and SA) have habits of recycling players, cores & rosters that continue to be mediocre both domestically and internationally

posted 9 months ago

there's already an insane pool of mechanically gifted players in CN tier 2 that'll definitely outshine some of the CN old guard rn. the more worse off teams will get a huge boost next year tbh

posted 9 months ago

i love the enthusiasm but we gotta wait for EDG vs G2 to know for sure that they can compete. also there's always a possibility that FPX can also choke against GENG in lowers in another FPX classic

posted 9 months ago

this shit is gonna be crossfire 2.0 by 2026. all the new talents are gonna go even harder than the pool currently playing

posted 9 months ago

here before all the 0/10s

posted 9 months ago

it ain't even a sacrifice they're just good bro 😭

posted 9 months ago

Chinese G2 fr

posted 9 months ago

ppl also brought up her testosterone difference compared to the rest of the boxers as if it mattered in physical sports lol. it's fucking boxing of course someone with higher testosterone would wanna compete if they're naturally built bigger

posted 9 months ago

one of the greatest callers in China atm for sure

posted 9 months ago

Sin Prisa, TurtleTroop/Darkzero, Trace, and of course AG

posted 9 months ago

that would be the biggest series of events in val ever, but their odds against the Americas powerhouses ain't the best

posted 9 months ago

PRX aren't making it but we up

posted 9 months ago

if there's room they will fit 🙏

posted 9 months ago

GENG are for sure good enough to still finish top of the tourney
FPX have been proven to cook and thrive in top level competition
SEN making it out would be a cracked storyline & would prove themselves

overall w group

posted 9 months ago

germany and italy were up 10-2 in the first map with it ending 13-11 after an attempted USSR comeback. during the second map it was 8-4 for the Russians and after the Axis got flawlessed on pistol Italy dc'd and it ended 13-4 with a 5 round win streak, then the Russians 13-0'd map 3

posted 9 months ago

this is the shit that forges champions. i'm sure Berlin likes the challenge anyways lol

posted 9 months ago

this is fire

posted 9 months ago

Ego will cook 2023 EG style and make the ACTUAL Chinese superteam 😤

posted 9 months ago

predicting the future with this one 🙏

posted 9 months ago

the average top 6 contender team has more depth than SEN did in Madrid. GENG, TH, and even FPX if they stop throwing are ahead of even that

posted 9 months ago

the only way it stops is if BLG win it all and he goes through ego death

posted 9 months ago

his schizophrenia's getting worse

posted 9 months ago

kangkang does his job of being a flashy aggressive fragger extremely well, and even when he doesn't go positive his team still follows up on whatever tf he does

posted 9 months ago

This season especially is really bad when it comes to the anime-esque powerscaling that the fanbase is falling into for some goddamn reason. Of course there are obvious favorites in some series but ultimately it's never a clear outcome until it's over. Sudden blips of genius in a team's overall gameplan or fundamental understanding of the game is ALWAYS a possibility to occur and stick.

G2 has only proven the concept of a coach being the most important long-term team factor more and more. The G2-NRG contrast is gonna be an omen for things to come if some orgs don't get their shit together

posted 9 months ago

improvement's never a linear line and that's the problem with a lotta viewers, and even when a team improves exponentially during a split or tourney they'll still cry fluke until the truth is unavoidable. hell, it wasn't until fucking America's playoffs that people finally gave G2 credit and admitted that they were actually fucking good and not Icy simply having a "life game"

posted 9 months ago

are the meds on your desk also a hallucination from your psychosis?

posted 9 months ago

no blame is thrown and no excuses made. only grindset

posted 9 months ago

i fw that heavy

posted 9 months ago

for the most part i'd say this is accurate, but Trace and Vitality are equal in my eyes cuz Vitality's reliance on Trexx in that series and Trace's habit of screwing up some small details that bites them in the ass balances out

posted 9 months ago

w timeout from the greatest chinese igl of 2023

posted 9 months ago

he put the possibility into the world now. LEV are gonna FUCKING LOSE

posted 9 months ago

and haodong & muggle took up the coaching duties

posted 9 months ago

they're asleep expecting their favorite teams to not get grouped HAHAHAHAHAHA

posted 9 months ago

hence why i said 'the list goes on'. hell EDG are playing properly atm, too. the only teams that I would definitely say do NOT are FPX and PRX (not saying BLG cuz they're more sloppy than anything) and we know how that ended up lol

posted 9 months ago

cned is cursed to lose with subpar teams against CN every major he attends

posted 9 months ago

Fnatic, TH, GENG, LEV whenever they're not slumping, the list goes on

posted 9 months ago

prx is uncontained aggression that has no concept of slowing down. CN teams understand that playing by-the-book fundamentals is still needed to not throw rounds that they've already pretty much secured. PRX devolved, while CN is gradually figuring things out

posted 9 months ago

he'd have to be very smart in the first place to get the absolutely insane timings he would get in Tokyo and Champs L.A

posted 9 months ago

they're growing on me for sure the more I reminisce abt their season tbh

posted 9 months ago

still on that JDG agenda I see

posted 9 months ago

he's still a psychopath but his calling is pretty sensible overall i'd say

posted 9 months ago

they were literally blow for blow against each other with two OT's that could've gone either way even with FPX's lack of discipline

posted 9 months ago

i'm a little ignorant but wtf does that mean in context of igling
