Brazilians act like the world is against them and how they are the underdogs while having the most biased superiority complex fanbase out there

Brazilians with their superiority complex incoming

I just pointed to the comment above who said that.

You can't just compare team to individual player. Derke carried Fnatic for long time. While Aspas joined the Brazilian superteam. Now Derke is on European superteam and well he just won Lock In.

posted about a year ago

Maybe not the most consistent, but calling Aspas better because he's been "this good for longer" is just total bs considering that Derke has arguably been top 3 duelist since 2021.

posted about a year ago

That was in 2021 and he still performed well in Champs like you said and where was Aspas during that time? Playing in tier 2 of Brazil. Derke has been one of the best since 2021 and has for most part been top performer no matter the meta or event.

For sure. Plus Derke Raze and Chamber > Aspas

BBL always decent they just can't win games

Molsi is usually so good, but hes been bit on and off on Vitality and especially off today.

True, but tbf Aslan got 1 through smoke and spike was on bad spot

KC would 26-0 DRX

New team, but Derke would have dropped 30 already

7ssk7 was good on NaVi but he hasn't been looking too hot since leaving NaVi

You could easily remove Middle East and Africa (E"MEA") and it wouldn't make a difference. Outside of Turkey obviously if you cound them as Middle Eastern.

posted about a year ago

nah he just tried to make them think he was just faking without smokes. Sometimes just sticking can get you half.

posted about a year ago

I don't think xms is a paycheck stealer. He hasn't been good, but before he got signed to KC he was doing well in French VRL and was understandable signing. But depends how you see paycheck stealer. Would name Newzera/Sh1n/PM rather because they were just on KC already and seems like KC ran out of money.

posted about a year ago

yes ofc but what I mean is that they were dissapointing since that not only in regular season that is happening now

Maybe, but that still doesn't take away from my point that many of the NA franchising players let it be even NRG, SEN, 100T seem to be struggling bit even on individual level. And those players are for most part more proven than any of the players you mentioned outside of yay and trent. I get your point with EG and maybe C9, but not so much for other teams.

posted about a year ago

What is happening with NA? Feels like most hyped/pre-franchising "NA" players have been pretty underwhelming so far. Cryo, Ardiis, pANcada etc and even some workhorses like crashies has been bit underwhelming. Maybe its just because of small sample size, but seems like these guys are really struggling vs SA teams.

I watch LoL(LEC and MSI/Worlds mainly), but I don't have much clue either but this is how I understand it (at least LEC):

You have 2 splits split into 4 seasons aka Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn(?) and pretty much during those you collect points to have better chances at making it into Worlds in end of the year. Also after 2nd season of the year(Spring) top 1 or 2 teams from each region qualify for MSI that is like Masters international event.

And before that you have regular season where teams regionally play BO1s against each other and then top 8 qualify for groups and then top 4 qualify for playoffs and those are BO3/BO5 nowadays I think.

I'm not exactly sure about everything and they just changed how LEC works. Also if I'm not wrong the format depends on region. But I'm pretty sure I got it but not exactly sure how points work.

Riot will legit split Americas for 2024 if 0 NA teams qualify

posted about a year ago

overrated since the beginning

posted about a year ago

they really got far because of Zekken Raze and Cryo Chamber, but tbh they were pretty mid before Champions so who knows if they could have kept going anyway

posted about a year ago

I think you could only upgrade like Alfajer if you put in Less or maybe Suygetsu

I genuinely believe that KC will bounce back to ok level

posted about a year ago

At least its not the one LEC/Riot uses. Americas just use LCS studio and I'm not sure about Pacific.

posted about a year ago

True, but I would also imagine it being partly because of completely new studio compared to Americas for example who just use LCS studio. Valorant and LoL are not the same, but sharing existing studio definitely makes some thing more easy.

these were so sick Astralis vs Vitality with Astralis homeground looked crazy good

posted about a year ago

Regular season games don't mean shit. NaVi without experiemental comps wouldn't have much trouble beating KOI who btw were genuinely playing well in that match. I would take NaVi over LEV or NRG anyday until proven otherwise.

posted about a year ago

Talon were top 8 beating who? Oh yeah MIBR and EG. While NaVi defeated Leviatan on their best map and 13-2d them on Fracture. There is like nothing to point out that LEV should be rated higher than NaVi.

posted about a year ago

Yeah but as I said that wasn't the best on Guild either. Guild were at point top 3 EMEA team, but feels like they were really hurting themselves with their style at times. Guild was like one of the slowest teams and there were so many times where they wouldn't even do anything other than just wait for right moment and then just run in and die. Really predictable in a way. But just my take.

posted about a year ago

I don't think that Koldamenta is the weakest link, but don't you see similar weaknesses in KOI as we saw in Guild? Like when it comes to calls and quite slow adaptation etc. They have full site control but rather they decide to cut noise and just stand in main doing nothing until last seconds.

posted about a year ago

Giants 2-0 (might be 2-1 if they play Ascent, GIA seems to perma ban Fracture but BBL has banned it as well)
Vitality 2-1 (I think KC can play good and better than what they did in last 2 games its just about confidence, if they find it I think they can have close games or even win vs decent teams. Like they show moments of brilliance here and there. Especially if these 2 go to Lotus I can see KC taking a map)

posted about a year ago

NaVi rolled Leviatan in Lock In it wasn't even close

posted about a year ago

Salah owns you and isn't even French

posted about a year ago

Oh wow 2nd best over who? EG, C9 and SEN even though they lost?

posted about a year ago

I've usually been Soulcas defender, but feels like he either isn't consistent enough or just not the right fit for this team (in-game firepower, utility etc)

posted about a year ago

primary school not high school

posted about a year ago

I guess they didnt just want empty seats for nothing and that can become a problem with these leagues

posted about a year ago

In a lot of ways KOI looks like Guild on some of these rounds. Feels like IGL/Coach problem.
