If anything Fnatic almost choked that match. 2-0 up while beating LOUD on their best map. Its crazy that people talk about LOUD choking while it was Fnatic choking.
LOUD can't even clear Fnatic so how is NRG supposed to

Copenhagen yes, but outside of that not so much. They came 3rd in seedings for Reykjavik 22 while looking really shaky and well you could argue they looked like the better team 2021 EMEA Masters 2 playoffs but lost to Liquid in finals. And overall they usually look pretty meh when they have attended tournaments that don't have anything to do with VCT bracket aka games that dont matter. Overall feels like a team that needs that meaning to do really well.
But I'm not saying they chilled here or anything I just feel like they usually dont show their best in games that dont have as much meaning
Actually these playoffs have felt a lot like 2021 Masters 2 qualifiers (Reykjavik). Fnatic coming second while still arguably being the best team, Liquid turning on against all the odds and taking the victory. FPX(NaVi) were one of the favorites, but fell off a bit when it mattered(here they made it but as 4th seed). Kind of similar vibes IMO.
People are just overreacting and then you just have bunch of Brazil and some NA fans jumping on Fnatic because of what they did to LOUD infront of Brazil crowd lmao. Using Liquid's victory as theirs.
Finally living up for the expectations and even over it. I still have some trust issues with them if I'm honest, but hopefully they will do well in Tokyo! Grats!
Not saying that they are not trying, but Fnatic are usually kinda shaky on seeding games. Could be mental thing.
Need to remember that he is playing different roles on each map so he constantly has to change how he plays and that will affect his performance + he doesn't look super confident today.

Its more Fnatic style on Lotus because of their comp I think.
My point is that everytime people mention them "getting exposed by the top teams", its like they are talking about 5 teams who would magically challenge Fnatic more than any team so far. LOUD is likely the closest to Fnatic and even then Fnatic is likely the better team and the best in the world atm.
Fnatic have been rolling on this map and even rolled FUT who are one of the better teams on this map unless other regions somehow got better on it even after EMEA domination in Lock In.
Ok maybe LOUD. But you could also argue that Fnatic didn't have much footage of LOUD on this map either and their unusual Harbor/Viper comp. While also being relatively new to the map as well. Fnatic have naturally improved on this map since Lock In.
They have been supposed to lose on this map for months already, but haven't. I just think its funny how people keep using this "they will get exposed by top teams" like just say LOUD.
These "top teams" are not as good as you think.

and has even some strong tier 2 players
Its not common, but he is Spanish caster(if im not wrong) and Spanish casters always go crazy so this type of screaming and hyping is really common if you ever watch Spanish VCL league.

People here are saying how NaVi ended up 4th, but you still can't deny how much firepower they have. Even ANGE1 can have some insane moments and outaim anyone when he is feeling it. Shao, cNed, Zyppan and Suygetsu are usually pretty consistent while having the ability to look like the best on the server. They are still the most dangerous Sheriff team in my mind.
and Fnatic well they are the most superteam team there is right now. They have 4 players who could all be considered top 3 in their role if not even the best. You can see that in their utlity usage, but as well on their mechanical skill. They have 4 raidbosses and that should tell enough.
And this is just pure firepower when they are feeling it.

Depends on groups, but NaVi. They are still insane roster, but keep fucking themselves up by playing weird comps and switching them all the time. If they just stick to solid comps and by doing that improved on timings etc they would go head to head vs the best.

I was sure NaVi would go for Sayf because he felt like natural replacement for Ardiis.
Like back in Champions 2021 when Acend was still like only team playing Omen and won the Championship. Also EMEA plays Cypher so Viper isn't needed. With same logic I could say that Americas play Astra strictly for comfortability with Omen being super meta on the map now (with Cypher).
My point is that calling something meta when they haven't won anything meaningful with it is just non sense. I go back to my earlier point but I think you would have called Harbor on Icebox meta while Fnatic were dominating that map with normal old school comp. And funnily enough I saw Harbor Icebox in tier 2 of EMEA before DRX(?) even played it so which teams actually make "metas".
100T would lose to Liquid's Omen so would that make Omen meta on Bind?
EMEA wasn't behind on Chamber meta IIRC, only OpTic was running it like crazy before others catched up. And as I said double controller (assuming you mean Harbor/Viper) isn't proven meta outside of like Pearl. That's like saying Americas is behind on Lotus meta because they don't play Fade as much.
In what way? Pearl is like the only map where you can make that argument. Just because EMEA teams dont play Harbor as much doesnt mean they are behind in terms of comps. Example Fnatic owned Icebox by playing the most basic comp ever. Also Americas teams always copy LOUD while EMEA teams dont copy Fnatic as much.
Reykjavik 2022 and it isn't even close. EMEA was pretty much missing their best and 2nd best(3rd seed but everyone knew FNC>G2). Nothing else comes even close. People who call Champions 2021 fluke are just dumb.

Impossible to say. But they went from Masters 3 victory to Champions finals.
Maybe like Rocket League? Not like really international, but EU and NA are both pretty equal if I'm not wrong and don't they also have some decent Brazilian teams? Also R6S is pretty internationally competitive and I've seen EU, NA, BR and even APAC teams.
