Duelist hardest IMO because most skill demanding abilities and you need to take more duels compared to others so position and ability usage really important and on the fly.

I think its combination of many things. cNed isn't very flexible. Shao can't play Skye. ANGE1 doesn't seem to like playing Brimstone, Astra etc and priorities his own comfortability. And you already have a mess in this current meta.
And the frustrating thing is that NaVi spent most of their split experiementing with some shitty one timer comps instead of playing roles that truly make sense. Surely cNed's time was better spent on playing Yoru than getting more comfortable with Raze. Surely ANGE1's Yoru was more important than trying to make Shao learn Skye etc.
People talk a lot of about cNed/Zyppan Raze, but I also think they are getting giga fucked when their main initiator player isn't playing any Skye. That is why they stick to Zyppan Skye every map.
True even though I'm scared of potential Liquid choke. This org is just cursed. Fnatic are still strong contender in my mind and still full hope on them. FUT have been bit shaky but looked much more comfortable on map 2 and 3 vs the Chinese team. Not sure will they win vs DRX but I think there's a chance.
Realistically only Giants is their main competitor because well KOI, KCorp and likely Heretics are bad, BBL is pretty meh and Vitality well....
ANGE1 has to get this shit together or NaVi should just boot him out. He's been terrible this event so far and its pretty clear he is behind most of the trolling.
Its terrible and NaVi deserves to lose like holy fuck
Nothing went wrong. North Americas was merged with Brazil and LATAM. Korea with Japan, SEA etc. EMEA is still same as last year Europe merged with Africa and Middle East(lol). NaVi is 4th in EMEA like 100T/SEN is 4th NA team in Americas. If you look it like if it was last year.
What went wrong with NaVi is different topic tho
True. Reason why I was bit concerned when they signed cNed because him and Ardiis seem like complete opposites in terms of stuff like that. Again why Sayf would have been the best pick for NaVi.
And EDG aren't even bad on that map. NaVi always troll in maps.
80% of Russians are European
NRG should beat Fnatic first. NRG are equal to them if we compare NA and EMEA.
Nah its just that both Americas and Pacific combined multiple regions into one while EMEA is still same old EMEA. If this was like last year LOUD would be BR 1st seed, NRG NA's 1st seed/EG their 2nd seed, DRX would be KR 1st seed, PRX SEA(?) 1st seed etc. Like if you think about it EMEA has almost as many teams in Tokyo as NA has in Americas league (4 to 5).
But I do agree that especially KCorp and Heretics trolled super hard with their rosters.
True. Its so frustrating. They troll with experiemental comps, but instead of trying stuff that could be useful like Shao Skye they instead put ANGE1 on Yoru on Split... They could play double duelist with no problems if Shao played Skye. But no. ANGE1 is good IGL, but holy fuck he is trolling and throwing NaVi's chances.
Likely not because hard to learn and takes long, but obviously Chinese/China is such a massive language/country with massive market so can be really useful in work life if its international.
I wouldn't say that. Even random tier 2 teams facing tier 1 wouldn't perform as bad in span of 2 games(pistols, bonuses). Its really shaky from FUT.
Nah FUT deserved it, but VIT vs Turkish teams smh
Maybe, but things like losing 5/6 pistols, getting bonused 3 times, losing 2nd round after winning pistol are things that you never saw from them. Let alone seeing them play and see how unconfident they look for a team that is usually really confident. Feels a lot like SMB back in 2021.
Nah I don't think they are playing to their true potential. Looks really shaky from them.
Yeah I don't think they are showing their full potential here. Potentially nerves issue. Like when SMB came 2nd in EMEA but ended up looking total ass when they got to Masters 3 Berlin. At least you can't blame ping.
Still ended up placing same as Fnatic + Fnatic's map pool was garbage due to addition of Pearl
FUT isn't usually as much all aim no brain even though their individuals are usually really good. But here seems like they get caught by unexpected plays from ASE and they look pretty unconfident.
Classic Turkish international LAN choke. Like how you get bonused 3 times in span of 3 maps?
C9 I can still get, but Furia, Leviatan and Sentinels aren't "top teams".
Surely playing troll Yoru Split comp was more worth it than practising real comp vs insane team like Fnatic. Or trying players on new agents that could actually be used in normal comps like Shao Skye maybe and put Zyppan on Raze/cNed on Jett? Instead of playing some Killjoy Viper comp that made Shao look clueless ranked player because for some reason he can't play Skye.
True. They could surprise some teams who can't adapt, but overall I think they have been overrated since the beginning. But who knows.
NRG are the best North American team currently. NaVi are 4th or 3rd best EMEA team currently. That's almost like comparing 100T to Fnatic if we simply compare EMEA and NA(in Americas league) teams and their placements. Obviously not the best comparison either.
So overall NaVi are still good and competitive and still have a good chances at making it through lowers.
Grats that KRU can beat 2 teams playing with their assistant coaches or with their dysfunctioning original rosters.
NaVi are EMEA 4th seed for a reason while NRG are best NA team at the moment (NA, not Americas).
Point is that this just seems like a clout move if anything. There are multiple players that would "deserve" a shot on a franchise team instead of him. I just don't think that Benjyfishy is ready for tier 1 and someone else could do better given the chance (obviously just quessing how he would perform). Them favoring clout over performance is just really shitty, especially for a team playing in a limited league.
And I never understood their tought process behind the building of this current team. I'm not hugely against Mixwell, but he felt like a clout/marketing signing if anything. And rest of the roster was built out of players who had pretty weak 2022 and were on their prime in 2021. At least I think they could have built a better team with more potential.
But this is just my opinion, obviously I don't know what is happening behind the scenes, in scrims etc.
Imagine trying to use that as an argument when same can be said about every single team and region. The Guard made it straight into playoffs in Reykjavik 22 and got 0-2d and eliminated.
Copenhagen? All 3 teams were good. Reykjavik can't be even counted, but even still 4th seed made it to playoffs and FPX/Fnatic would have been strong contenders. Reykjavik was just unlucky and in Champions they fumbled and even in Champions all 3 made it to playoffs unlike NA lol
Heretics really are dumb or what? No hate for Benjyfishy, but why him (outside of clout)? I would imagine there being many others who are unsigned and who have shown better stuff lately. Really makes you question their decision making if this happens considering the mess of a team they built for this season of VCT.
At start there was small segment where they talked about mental health and did small moment of silence for like 10sec if I remember correctly.
I'm pretty sure that is massive W for EMEA if anything
possible that they focus on groups teams even tho they showed quite a lot of LOUD
