SMB from EMEA 2021. They if anyone were onliners. They got 2nd in EMEA and bombed out in Berlin while looking really bad.
Twitter has been having a lot of problems past 24h. Yesterday couldn't load most of tweets/replies without refreshing 3 times.
Yep. I haven't usually been biggest believer of Mistic and Enzo, but both of them were on team that looked like one of the best in the world when it came to regional footage last year. And Mistic was really impactful last year.
Twitter is best platform if you want to follow esports (outside of Twitch/YouTube for games). Or pretty much anything else.
Only 17 as well. He has bright future and wouldn't be surprised seeing him in VCT soon.
Sh1n is decent but both Enzo and BeyAz are initiator players as well and they need IGL. If they could switch to controller then sh1n could fit in.
Scream, Nivera, Takas, Logan, Enzo/BeyAz or bring Kadavra(-logan) if they want to play Nivera on sentinel
Pretty indifferent for me. Some decent songs if you want to listen to rap, but nothing super memorable from quick listening. Most songs sound pretty similar, but maybe this just isn't my type of music nowadays.
I have never been huge on Mistic, but he was really impactful for Fnatic last year. He even performed well in Champions. Good to see him back on controller role as well.
They aren't Fnatic
I mean they have so much talent there and teams like Parla were going head to head vs NaVi in GLoot and were apparently doing really well in scrims.
Kind of hope that DA doesnt make it into VCT. Like Turkish has a lot of talent, but they seem to be lacking IGLs and coaches making them really inflexible, while English speaking teams can be way more flexible when signing players. Having 3 Turkish teams in VCT would be pretty bad.
I mean they originally lost the VK game, but after that went through Envy, Team Secret, Liquid and Gambit. So not super easy. Team Secret was one of the weakest in playoffs and Liquid didn't look as good in semis, so you could argue it was bit easier as some of the others. But I don't really see how any other team would have eliminated them outside of Liquid and Gambit.
They were a good team in 2021 and always had potential to win international trophies
I wish Heretics signed Unfake and MiniBoo. Would be interesting.
EMEA:
Acend 1-2 Digital Athletics
Apeks 2-0 Case Esports
DSYRE 2-1 CGN Esports
Team Falcons 2-1 Gentle Mates
I always had this problem but with LGG Saturn not as much. But like Endgame MPC450 type speed pad is goated for humidity but obviously complete different feel to most pads and fast af, can't use it personally
What personality NA players have? Also its way easier to show "personality" as native speaker.
Valorant community is even worse. The amount of passive aggressive Jett instalocks trying to micromanage their team is crazy, while having no clue what they are talking about.
True Boaster W guy. Also we will likely have him in Valorant scene for long unless he decides to leave himself. The moment he quits being a pro he will land a spot as talent. Kinda like Caedrel of Valorant (different personality tho).
Tokyo was top 4 from EMEA, top 3 from Americas, top 3 from Pacific and top 2 from China. What did you expect? To get out of groups you had to qualify over NRG/EDG or EG/DRX. 3rd and 4th seed getting grouped is completely understandable. Even LOUD would have likely gotten grouped if they played like they did playoffs.
Hard to say without seeing them facing each other. If you look at the rosters both of these are pretty equal with similar level players. I overall think that people are overrating some of these tier 2 teams tho including M80.
I think in recent tier 1 EMEA it has to be Russ and Yacine. Russ' performance in Copenhagen was just really bad and he looked out of place, and he never really turned on on Guild. Kinda sad because he was pretty promising tier 2 player before and had one of the best Skyes in EU. And well Yacine wasn't even supposed to be in for LCQ and it showed.
I prefer original G Pro Wireless over Superlight as well(unless you talk about wired). Weight just felt nicer I think and the sidebuttons weren't great but way better than Superlights that are really bad. I just had double click issues with original.
yep its pretty loud, my DAV3 is pretty quiet in comparison
Sheriff(old) and Marshall look insane, Phantom and Odin are meh IMO. And was there melee? Didn't notice.
GTZ 2-1
(btw is Robbie GTZ's IGL or who if someone knows?)
You are overrating these tier 2 teams. They wouldn't do shit vs top 4 Americas.
That is just false. If NA had 10 slots their quality of teams would be lower than you think. Also you would have some shit orgs who decided to build terrible rosters like what Heretics and KCorp did. EMEA is stacked with tier 2 talent, but teams are scared of giving them chances. Like whole FUT came from tier 2 and even though they didn't do that well in Tokyo(underperformance) they are still good.
He has Russian parents but has lived most of his life in Finland(if not even born?). Kind of like Demon1, but closer to Russia for obvious reasons.
Knowing Giants likely lol. They were so inconsistent. They have great games and maps, but also have really bad ones. If they could become more consistent they would be good.
TL vs NRG was close game and could have gone either way. LOUD would have likely gotten grouped if they played like they did in playoffs. I actually think LOUD and NaVi were in pretty similar spot(minus LOUD's Americas performance). And Fnatic cleared EG(these 2 looked easily the best). FUT didnt look great, but I think they didn't show their true potential.
Fnatic stole the best of EMEA and crushed other's mentals so good that they give something back
MVP imo if Fnatic win. He has been insane this year and event.
Derke hasn't been playing Jett and Leo hasn't been playing Sova yet this event so I'm bit scared when it comes to Jett/Sova maps. Reason why I was thinking they would pick Bind as 2nd. Either they dominate or it can be bit slow.
They are fumbling. This Bind has been pretty bad from them so far.
Fnatic is the most predictable team when it comes to map pick and bans and comps.
Acting like the other regions would provide much better 5 teams. For Americas I kind of get it, but Pacific wouldn't do shit with extra spot. NaVi's roster is still really good and proven. They are just going through same fiasco as they did back in 2021. If they just stick to normal comps they would be a contender team. They are on C9 type of level and arguably have higher potential. And Giants(most likely to make it as 5th) aren't terrible. Their roster is pretty good, but just bit incosistent. Saying that 5th from Americas and especially Pacific would be much better is just wrong IMO. Again for Americas maybe, but it wouldn't be massive especially when people mention teams like 100T and SEN. FUT underperformed in Tokyo and looked shaky compared to their VCT EMEA form.
ult looks op as fuck and annoying. Rest of the kit is interesting though.
Is her nationality revealed yet? I've seen people talk about Norwegian and could make sense by the looks.
I'm sorry my 5.5 million people country doesnt have a team ..... but at least we have 1 in the finals, Brazil 0
