One thing to note about masters thus far -- NA is looking extremely strong. Maybe as a result of better living conditions/funding compared to some of the 3rd world countries competing, but the strats and pace run by Optic/The Guard are so obviously leagues ahead of the other regions. I think that us as Valorant fans should be thankful that these NA teams continue to innovate and shake up the meta.

So just like Fnatic

OpTic is just like Fnatic and see what happened when they lost Derke

Mixwell has best Chamber utility in the world IMO. Outside of ult*

Maybe getting hundreds of negative comments and DMs may not be the best experience. Guy like Sinatraa could literally murder someone and there would still be people attacking the victim's family.

Its crazy how much firepower Derke adds. Braveaf adds quite a lot of firepower as well.

For sure. The game against LOUD was close.

Fnatic: 2 subs, one of them being their superstar player.
Liquid: Looked like shit before Masters and changed their comps on pretty much all maps. LOUD is hyped and it wasn't bad game for a team that wasn't even supposed to be there.
G2: Looked bit shaky still especially when it comes to players like nukkye and Meddo. Also scrappy team so you can't look too much on round scores alone IMO.
And then we don't have FPX there or M3C who just looked exhausted against G2.
I think Fnatic with their full roster would have won the tournament same can be said for M3C. I think both of those teams have showed the highest level of competitive Valorant so far in 2022. Don't know about FPX.

Not embarrassing for team that placed 4th in EMEA.

nah Nivera wasn't just hitting his shot on Ascent. Can't blame agent pick.

He saw one of the Zeta players doing it

So far one of the bests for sure.

Jamppi is so good when he is feeling it. Good rifling, good op and really flexible.

They legit have admins on same call who understand English speaking team like Liquid. If they did something wrong they would have been caught. I'm pretty sure they can have small talk as long as they don't discuss the game. All teams speak a little during techs.

I'm so happy they are putting him on Jett. He is just so good

For sure. Or more like he isn't underrated by the people who follow EMEA closely, but he is really unknown.

No worries. First game for G2. While Zeta has been warming up for multiple days. Also G2 is scrappy team. Win is all that matters.

G2 just shaky and getting outaimed.

posted about 3 years ago

I don't know. I just read rumors here on vlr and twitter.

posted about 3 years ago

Maybe Vitality found better fit. They don't seem to have duelist player in their rumored roster. Or maybe they actually signed JUGi COPIUM

posted about 3 years ago

Wasn't Mickebwoy supposed to join Vitality? Or at least there was rumors about it. (if it was vitality)

posted about 3 years ago

That wasn't rng. Zeta knew he can still be there, but lost the duels.

posted about 3 years ago

Happens. In EMEA playoffs Soulcas would have gotten like 3 or 4k with race ulti but it didn't kill single one.

posted about 3 years ago

G2 players are just shaky for first LAN game while Zeta has been playing for past 3 days

posted about 3 years ago

shaky

posted about 3 years ago

Also Zeta doesn't play Kay/O on Icebox and that pick is really good counter to G2's normal comp if used right. FPX did very good job for example.

TL will make miracle run

posted about 3 years ago

Fnatic IMO. I think they had weakest firepower out of any team this tournament. There wasn't single standout player in Fnatic. Also their chemistry/synergy was way off and their strategic depth was really weak.

XIA can't win against anyone without Icebox

not wrong

posted about 3 years ago

I think the map veto helped Xerxia a lot in their 1st game. Icebox seems to be their best map kind of like it was in Champions as well and Ascent can be won by individual skill. Fracture in the other hand is a lot about teamwork and actual strategy.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah I think Icebox is likely their best map and rest are more up to individual performances. I guess they had something cooking on Fracture, but it isn't really working.

posted about 3 years ago

And Xerxia look different as well way worse or maybe they can only play Icebox dunno
