Interesting to see who they will replace dreamas with. They are good team tho, but the competition is really high.

posted about 2 years ago

True, what I'm saying is that all the teams I mentioned have quality and potential to make it to next LAN event. All of them are good enough and its just comes down to who is better when it matters.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean any out of Gambit, FPX, Acend, G2, Liquid, Fnatic, Guild could dominate coming into stage 2. All have a lot of potential.

posted about 2 years ago

Its still better than most regions. Only NA might be better if they get paid well, but even then they don't have similar promotion leagues etc. Its far from "good", but that is just how tier 2 usually works.

posted about 2 years ago

0/8 EMEA is in really good state. Bunch of competitive high tier teams. Best and most likely most healthy tier 2 scene out of any region. Decent viewership. More big profile orgs joining in etc.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean M3C were clearly exhausted having to play so many games in short period of time. And Fnatic's last 2 games were whatever. Just running around doing same stuff. Clearly not caring too much. Also G2 just activated at that time and looked better than what they did here.

posted about 2 years ago

True, but no worries. We will get them next time. Good to start year with non-EMEA team winning so it spices up the competition.

Not specific moment, but nice to see Japan do well because of how passionate their scene is and how they are pretty new to FPS scene.

posted about 2 years ago

You can see when player doesn't perform to their full potential. But it was pretty expected from G2 tbh looking at their EMEA finals game where they looked weaker individually. LOUD is good team I'm not trying to deny that.

posted about 2 years ago

Not because they lost against BR team. But yes I do believe they performed worse here. Even when you look at the individuals alone. You would understand if you followed EMEA and especially G2's journey this year.

posted about 2 years ago

Good for the scene tbh even if its sad. EMEA winning every event would be bad for scene.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah his stats in past 60 days:
Jett - 1.46 KD
Neon - 2.18 KD
Obviously he is playing against weaker opponents, but he still went 25-8 against SMB(BO1) and 43-21 against BIG(BO3). But you can still see that he is really promising and could be superstar in near future. Also his team Fokus just qualified to VCT with BIG. He was pretty bad in tier 1 CSGO, but feels like he always did well until he got changes to prove it and then he choked. Every time. Still big talent from CSGO now grinding Valorant.

posted about 2 years ago

He had bad tournament but that doesn't change anything in what I said. Also he has to IGL while playing entry in both maps today.

posted about 2 years ago

More like 2. Fnatic can't be really counted in with 2 stand-ins. That is just such huge massive nerf to any team. Even if you took the winner of this event and added 2 stand-ins to their roster they wouldn't make it past groups.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah he didn't have that great performance. But also need to remember that he is pretty new to IGLing and had to do in LAN setting for first time. Similar vibes as BONECOLD during Masters 3. Obviously nukkye played way better, but just saying that is clearly effected his gameplay.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah I don't think them getting rid of keloqz has anything to do with this. He is good player, but seems to only play Jett and also has reputation for bad work ethic and attitude. You don't want players like that.

posted about 2 years ago

They do though. Still best region in terms of depth and competition. G2, Fnatic or TL could return to next event looking crisp while its really possible some of these regions will return weaker just like LATAM with KRU. Also unlucky with Russia's attack.
Any out of FPX, FNC, GMB, TL, G2, GLD could be real contenders next event while there's dark horses like ACE, maybe VIT, NaVi etc.

posted about 2 years ago

They peaked at right time to make top 2 in EMEA. At least they have some good pieces still, but this performance was disappointing even though it was kind of expected if you think how bad G2 looked before.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah he insane. Luckily he made it to VCT so we will see him against good team. But I think he could join tier 1 team in near future especially if Fokus don't do well but he does.

posted about 2 years ago

He is pretty weak player even tho I was really impressed how much better he looked during EMEA playoffs.

posted about 2 years ago

If Vitality gets good duelist someone like JUGi they will be really interesting team

posted about 2 years ago

Good take. Also "minor" regions usually have 1 dominant team that rolls everyone so its harder to read them based on vods and stuff. While teams in better regions have to constantly show a lot of their stuff against good opponents. COPIUM

Only team to won against Zeta aka future champions with DRX ofc

Guard rolling NA, but 0 wins in international level just facts. Same thing with G2, but at least they weren't 1st seed.

Ice Hockey
and we are good at it

posted about 2 years ago

True. But kind of weird that they didn't realize that and started playing around it. Bad calling. They would just push them off with util, but instead of going they would just stay afk in spawn. No aggression or anything. And that happened multiple times and cost them the game.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't understand why people keep bringing this up? LDN UTD are good team. Tbh one of the stronger teamwork teams in all of EMEA. Not contender level, but they can definitely take maps and even series away from top EMEA teams. Just because they are unknown doesn't mean they are bad.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah kind of. He had some good moments even in Challengers 1 tho. He started really slow, but was really clutch during playoffs. Weird player. Such high peaks, but also so inconsistent. He hasn't really been performing this tournament either and him and Meddo having pretty bad performance clearly weakens G2 a lot.

posted about 2 years ago

At lest G2 won a game KEKW

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah he hasn't been great... he was always like this, but turned on during lower bracket EMEA playoffs and started dominating, but he is back to that old form unfortunately. Avova has been pretty weak as well outside of couple cool tps. Even his bad smoke placement ended up costing G2 pistol round and possibly this whole game.

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA 1# > NA 1# though. The Guard got rolled.

posted about 2 years ago

Their last few rounds have been so bad. Constantly dry peeking OP and not expecting it. So bad...

posted about 2 years ago

H1ber's Raze is arguably better than his Jett but he didn't have great performance in Masters with it tho.

posted about 2 years ago

if he put some time then yeah definitely. Insane mechanics and smart player.

posted about 2 years ago

Depends will they get back to their form. They have been getting outaimed in every match so far. When all of G2 are hitting their shots they are so good, but unfortunately bit inconsistent.

RIP

Doesn't change anything. He could pick any agent and dominate.

and its not even close. Best duelist, best sentinel, best IGL, best initiator and one of the best flex players.

So? All those players are some of the best in their roles.

Valorant is the most random game ever

and I know this will get downvoted, but as someone who follows multiple esports: Valorant is easily the most random. Can be due to its young age.

posted about 2 years ago

He follow own values even when pressured = I respect him. Plus soon we won't even need covid passes anymore.

True likely, just stating that small part of Turkey is located in Europe.

posted about 2 years ago

Hype for sentinel
and maybe Fearoth for Sova if they can't play with Braveaf.

posted about 2 years ago

More like Singaporean education kekw part of Russia and small part of Turkey are located in continent Europe

posted about 2 years ago

That is not how continents work. Russia is country located in Europe and in Asia.

posted about 2 years ago

?
Around 75% of Russians live in part of Russia that is considered to be in Europe. Meaning that 75% of Russians are European.
And around 3% of Turkey's land area is in Europe and around 10% of Turkish are European.
And obviously Ukraine is in Europe.

100%
Fnatic without subs is still contender level team (obviously they benched Magnum so who knows)
TL as long as they keep playing normal comps they could dominate again, considering that they changed everything between EMEA and M1.
M3C is just beast team and could win against anyone
FPX if they keep performing like they are scary
Guild is still super promising team as long as they can perform in actual games
G2 is still relatively young team and only recently found proper success so they will hopefully keep improving

and then you have teams like Acend who have some really good pieces like Cned and zeek, but not sure about their new players. Vitality could be good with players like Bonecold, baddyG etc. And who knows how teams like NaVi or even LDN UTD could do next Challengers. Most likely not well enough to go far in Challengers, but they have potential as long as they work on some things.
