Honestly, Br > Na, Optic struggled, Loud looked like it was taking a walk in the park
TL looked lil stronger than them and got eliminated, I'd say its time for G2to gohome.
Optic struggled but beat DRX at the end, but there is no other team in the tourney that could beat DRX(tho i want ZETA to beat em)
LOUD is also the only good team in BR while NA's top 4 teams could do serious damage in this event

Your first seed team went 0-2 and got eliminated and only OpTic is doing well. EMEA didn't even send the team that was clearly the best. And before you talk about experience G2 is almost as new team as Guard with roster changes, coach changes, IGL changes etc.

Fnatic - 2 subs so you can't even count them in
Liquid - shit in EMEA, having to change every comp on every map, still good performance all things considered.
G2 - 2 players no LAN experience, new IGL, new structure aka new team just like The Guard. Not excuse tho just like it isn't for The Guard.
FPX - clearly best in EMEA beating every team easy and couldn't even show their skills here.
So both regions are shit and only have 1 that could do well, but sadly EMEA's isn't here.

Fpx lost to ldn utd so they suck fnatic was popping off too and they still have players from eu at the end of the day just stop the copium europe lost
Yeah lost 1 group game so what? LDN UTD are on similar level as teams like Sentinels or XSET in NA. Also Fnatic lost 2 players that completely threw their teamplay and chemistry all over the place and one of those was their starplayer. H1ber and Fea are good, but tier 2 with no prior experience with Fnatic core. EMEA lost that is true, but also unlucky circumstances.

Before get stomped by G2 Liquid won against them: 13:9 Split for TL; 15:13 icebox for G2 and 13:8 on Haven for TL. --> close games.
TL against FPX: 13:10 split for FPX and 13:9 on haven for FPX --> not a stomp.
Also Liquid did improve for Masters.
G2 x Fnatic (with no subs) 13:9 on breeze for G2, 13:2 on icebox for G2 and 13:10 on Ascent for G2
G2 x FPX: 13:6 icebox for FPX; 13:8 for G2 on breeze; 13:7 for FPX on Ascent and 16:14 for fpx on Split --> Some close games and no stomp.
G2 is a great team and FPX are not so ahead of them, believe that FPX would smash all others regions is just high COPIUM.
FPX also had close games against NAVI and lost for LDN.

Having close game against NAVI or losing to LDN UTD doesn't mean anything. Those teams are good. Also G2 is performing worse than what they did in playoffs of EMEA. Their games so far in masters have looked exactly like they did when they lost to teams like TL in EMEA. Meddo not hitting anything, Mixwell bad Jett, Avova just kind of disappears, uncoordinated etc. During their lower bracket playoff run all of the players activated and performed well. I have to admit that I already saw players like Meddo playing worse in EMEA finals and that's why I was kind of expecting this form from G2.
Not because they lost against BR team. But yes I do believe they performed worse here. Even when you look at the individuals alone. You would understand if you followed EMEA and especially G2's journey this year.
That's because your region is less competitive than you think they are. Masters>>>>> your challengers. Just accept it.
You can see when player doesn't perform to their full potential. But it was pretty expected from G2 tbh looking at their EMEA finals game where they looked weaker individually. LOUD is good team I'm not trying to deny that.
Doesn't change anything. G2 looked like hot garbage before Challengers and even during group stage. Also new IGL, new Coach, new structure, new roles, 2 players without LAN experience. They rised to top quickly as The Guard, but also underperformed and choked like them.
g2 were a shaky tier 1 EU team that found their stride and overperformed in challengers playoffs and then went back to looking decent but not great at masters. guard exploded to the top of the scene in 3 months and had an underwhelming match against paper rex due mostly to inexperience and LAN jitters.
Tbf EMEA was hit hard by politics and Covid. Otherwise sure if you want to ignore what happened to 2/3 teams
BR scene is basically LOUD. The other teams are way below.
EMEA still has the highest number of good teams compared to other regions.
Yes, I said atleast, but V1 definitely could atleast reach top 6 out here. And people are deluded if they think otherwise. These are the guys who are praising them like crazy just before lol.
v1 threw that LG game clearly. They're a good team, you can see their performances in group. C9 is just better than them though.
