Fnatic lost seeding game (off-day as well looking at their fundamentals) against team that peaked during EMEA playoffs. Also FPX losing one group game against LDN UTD isn't bad. That's like saying OpTic is shit if they lost group game against XSET.

Yeah but not part of USA.

True as EMEA fan. Not having your best team(s, arguably) here and one of the best having to play with 2 stand-ins is cancer and makes really uninteresting when nerfed to oblivion. But I'm happy and its good for Japan, Brazil, APAC and Korea.

Also this format sucked ass, I don't like how some teams instantly place to playoffs.

Also the hype for this event hasn't been as big as for others, but that is understandable.

Marved has been carrying this game so hard for OpTic. He single handedly won Haven for them. And FNS is IGLing. So this game Canada > USA 100%.

Expected with EMEA nerfs.

No problem. Coming back stronger for Masters 2 and winning it. Just unlucky tournament with world situation. Or tbh those problems will likely exist even for next Masters, but we still have competitive full non-Russian teams. Luckily we have teams to pick from.

OpTic is being carried by Canadian

carrying OpTic without him Zeta 3-0

posted about 2 years ago

Zeta will not perform well next Masters. Calling it right now. Come back when that happens.

Liquid for sure. They have bunch of cool and fun videos with their Valorant roster. Pretty active with them as well.

posted about 2 years ago

They barely won after having their smoke player have his map of the life. On their pick as well. I don't think LOUD fans should be too worried unless their map selection sucks idk. But yeah OpTic will still 3-0. LOUD players will choke.

Their new roster will be banging

I mean Marved is having map of his life. Literally solo carrying OpTic.

cNed best Oper and Jett (mainly ability usage, positioning etc) in the world IMO.

EMEA easily the best, NA second, APAC 3rd, then BR, KR, JP and LATAM are one team regions so I don't know how to rate them.

posted about 2 years ago

They are not overhyped. Seeding match while clearly having off-day doesn't mean anything. Considering that they 5-0'd their group and looked flawless in their game against M3C. They would have been easily really strong contender and would still be in most likely.

13th next month I'm pretty sure. But jokes aside he isn't proven in tier 1 yet so I'm really excited to see how he does against good teams.

ex CSGO player who even played in teams like Astralis for a bit. And just qualified to EMEA VCT with Fokus. Future superstar if he keeps performing like this.

Why do you even keep commenting when you clearly haven't watched any Fnatic outside of LAN events lmao. Imagine calling 2021 Derke consistent if you count both online and LAN.

posted about 2 years ago

LOUD just warming up their aim looks shaky and that is the main thing.

posted about 2 years ago

????? he has always been Fnatic's most consistent player if you look at past year. And he got even better for 2022. And tell 1 better controller to replace him.

posted about 2 years ago

True. But I guess I would rather see Mistic Flex and Boaster Controller than other way around. Even tho Boaster did good job supporting as flex.

posted about 2 years ago

Why would they get rid of Mistic? He is good and consistent controller player with good firepower. He didn't have best performance in Iceland, but that is understandable.

posted about 2 years ago

Feels so wrong and unfair, but I guess the changes make some sense. Braveaf is amazing player, but he simply can not attend stuff due to visa issues. And Magnum is good player as well, but maybe Fnatic just thinks they can find someone who adds more firepower. Really scared for future of this team though. Having to replace 2 is not going to be easy. Also Mistic is changing to flex while Boaster switches to controller? Big changes.

Actually W roster. They could do really well after some time playing together. Possibly even tier 1 IMO.

posted about 2 years ago

Twisten is good, but he doesnt really play Jett. Plus who else it would be then? LDN UTD and BIG are only ones who could sign Jett main unless someone like JUGi is leaving Fokus but really unlikely.

posted about 2 years ago

Imagine if Fnatic tried to get H1ber back, but as Sova main. He trialed for that spot for Fnatic, but didn't want to join because he wanted to play duelist. And then they found Braveaf. But just imagine if he changed his mind and actually joined as Sova main. There were even rumors that some VCT team was interested in H1ber. Obviously it could be any most likely BIG or LDN UTD, but damn would that be interestin.g

posted about 2 years ago

He looked pretty shaky, but could just be due to LAN nerves.

Any nerf is good. Next nerf Chamber please.

Doesn't change anything. G2 looked like hot garbage before Challengers and even during group stage. Also new IGL, new Coach, new structure, new roles, 2 players without LAN experience. They rised to top quickly as The Guard, but also underperformed and choked like them.

posted about 2 years ago

And for me its not even specifically it being the best looking, but there is just something seeing Astralis players with those jerseys walking to stage knowing that they would be the raid boss of whatever tournament they were in. So much power and that made it iconic for me. Still good looking tho and I like the logo, black an red.

posted about 2 years ago

Just leaking VIT new roster lol like if we didn't know it already. But bro I'm so excited for this new VIT roster. I think they could do really well as long as szimpli and their 5th perform.

posted about 2 years ago

I really like 100T polo jerseys. But maybe all time favorite is just Astralis jerseys from time when they dominated. Just so simple and iconic. There was just so much power in those seeing how they were pretty much impossible to beat.

posted about 2 years ago

Hype makes most sense IMO. One of if not the best non Russian sentinel coming from tier 2 EU.

posted about 2 years ago

Irrelevant thread. Any out of the teams that I named would be competitive in internationally level. I'm not saying all of them would win, but I don't think any of them would go without winning a map or game tbh. Especially if every region gets multiple slots.

posted about 2 years ago

Not really: Gambit, Fnatic, Team Liquid, G2, FPX are ready already. And then you have Guild and Acend who have a lot of potential and could be top of EMEA next stage and Guild already is kind of. Especially when hearing how they did in scrims.
