Replace H1ber with Iluri unless you want to run Derke Chamber + H1ber Raze exclusively. Let Derke be Raze and Jamppi Chamber and then have proper initiator/maybe 2nd IGL in Iluri. H1ber isn't as flexible anymore for some reason. Doesn't play much Raze after bad performance in Iceland and relies more on Jett and Reyna.

They def look better than last 2 weeks. But I also think its bit due to comfort roles. They don't look as lost and they seem to know what they are doing.

Idk the tweet said that they tried to move G2 LoL to NA. And I remember there being some rumors last year.

posted about 3 years ago

L, but not surprising since NA at least for time being generates more money and if I'm not wrong Carlos himself lives in New York and wanted to expand G2 more to NA markets as well. Still interesting considering that they apparently tried to do same with their LoL team as well even tho LEC is arguably more popular than LCS and G2 is most popular team in EU and one of the most popular in the world. I guess they just want to dominate LCS lol

Why tho? Isn't it best that all maps are as 50/50 as possible?

posted about 3 years ago

I guess it makes sense since Split is most unbalanced map in terms of sides. But still sad. There's definitely worse maps than Split.

unlucky that Valorant cinematics are shit compared to some other games

Hard to say yet, but at least it looks amazing visually and the map layout looks really interesting and CSGO like so I'm all for it

I actually would have like if they name it Mortal, imagine Mortal and then Immortal. Mortal isnt that positive word maybe, but would have been better than this IMO.

Good since there's way too many Immortals

Its not about refusing its more about asking. I have never met anyone who would refuse to feed guests. Its just that some don't ask and its not that expected thing.

posted about 3 years ago

I was mainly talking about the times when I was younger and would just visit some friends after school and usually that went until lunch or common dinner time that is like 4-5 PM. And at that point they have their own routines, so they aren't just going to wait until I leave.
But I haven't experience that after. Usually people plan their visits so people can eat dinner in peace. Outside of some more random visits with quick notice. Then its different story and I will offer food to guests myself but some don't.

posted about 3 years ago

Not really in my experience. When I was younger and when I had friends over I and my parents would always ask if my friend wanted to eat as well (we never really had proper dinners at that time tho but mainly snack and such). And when it came to my friends some of their families would always ask if I wanted to eat while some families didn't and had the basic "wait here I will go eat fast". And even to this day in my experience it depends on people and the purpose of your visit. Invited for coffee, dinner etc = offer food, you just go there in random time for no reason = don't often offer food because they didnt prepare. Just my experience.

posted about 3 years ago

Its not weird when you expect that people have eaten their own food/parents have fed their own children. I don't know how this works in some parts of the world, but you don't expect people to come to your house hungry. Unless they are specifically invited for dinner. Depends on family tho. And every place I've been to you get something to eat if you ask. And that is the difference maker. In some countries where people are more open and "friendly" and food culture is different they will ask you to eat and its common gesture like in Southern Europe if I'm not wrong, but here in Nordics where our culture is different you don't always ask do they want to eat but instead you expect them to ask if they can and that can lead to that both parties being too embarrassed to ask and that usually leads to no. Again really depended on family and saying this since our culture is similar to Swedes.

This. Sinatraa was relevant in pro play back when no one knew how to even play this game. That is where he got all hype from, his Sova and Raze utility IIRC. Before even Sentinel dominating Iceland and look at them now. He could do well and everything and maybe he is still showing a lot of potential in ranked or pugs or some but I don't understand why some people still talk about him like it was early 2021.

Yes if you think it that way. My point is that luck affects pretty everything in your life and gaming is no different. Like even if you do everything perfectly there is still a lot of luck involved. You can work super hard and become the best, but it still doesn't remove the luck part from it. Everything is based on luck if you think it that way. Our comments have just different views and maybe meanings. My comment was just fast overall reply without much thought going for it outside of my believe of "luck", while your comment was explaining how you can "minimize" the luck aspect I guess. Its just different perspectives/aspects? Like I agree with everything you said when it comes to being in game and doing stuff there and what is lucky and what is unlucky and what is neither, but I was just talking about the bigger picture.

It may be dumb idea or logic but it isn't wrong.

posted about 3 years ago

Pretty much everything in this world is about luck if you think about it. The fact that enemy player decided to peak you just when you were looking at different direction is about luck and also you perfectly pre aiming to his position and he decides to peak and you get the kill is also about luck, because you can't control how other players behave. If you actually think about it.

Not much I don't believe and this is coming from person who still enjoys and follows Overwatch and its esport. Overwatch League (tier 1 esport) NA/West games average at around 50k on YouTube (exclusive) per game currently, I don't know about APAC but at least lower YouTube numbers. First day of OWL this season that is played on Overwatch 2 with new maps, hero changes and 1 new hero Sojourn peaked at like little under 100k viewers on YouTube. So no I don't think its esport is any threat to Valorant since I don't believe that it will get that massive of a boost and OWL has existed since 2018 and it hasn't killed or badly damaged single esport to my knowledge outside of maybe something like TF2 at start since they lost good amount of talent.

And overall who doesn't own copy of OW already? Also they have free weekends quite often. I really hope OW makes comeback, but I don't think it will damage Valorant (like any established game) at all. It can easily exist in its own space without damaging other and I don't think there's going to be huge surge of people wanting to become OW pros like when OWL was announced originally.

Maybe, I don't know since I haven't seen Turkish crowd and don't know how popular Valorant there is overall. And again its like if there isn't single Turkish player or they get eliminated early the crowd could be dead. I don't know.

posted about 3 years ago

If I'm honest (yeah I'm pessimist) I predict that Copenhagen crowd won't be hype. Not only is it only half way full (If I'm right), but also Danish crowd has been pretty meh even in CSGO that is super popular there unless they have Danish team playing and even outside of that Valorant doesn't have huge footing there or in Europe overall. Obv there's still bunch of Valorant fans and people also coming from other regions, but I don't think the crowd will be anything crazy and overall look bad in comparison to let's say last Majors. Also there really isn't much culture in Valorant esport yet and there isn't many teams or players that are really iconic.

Acend

posted about 3 years ago

I also think that they need to make changes. They are just in a point where they cant really improve enough (seems like) and have to take steps back to build forward and making roster change pretty much forces you to do that and also brings new energy to whole team. That is why honeymoon periods are so common in Valorant currently I believe and I don't think single current teams can keep going for long time.

posted about 3 years ago

Overreaction. This game has no stakes + G2 playing arguably their best maps (Icebox, Split, Bind all their best) with confidence since they have nothing to lose.

posted about 3 years ago

I didn't really understand that add? So do you unlock all Valorant agents and LoL Champions with game pass? Because if yes then that is huge. Or was it only for xbox or something

posted about 3 years ago

FPX vs TL -> FPX vs Fnatic -> Fnatic
M3C vs Acend -> Acend vs Guild -> Acend
and then FPX makes it through lowers and ends up placing 2nd over Acend

Breeze. So sleeper and no innovation. Just same stuff with aim duels and op holding angles all the time.

posted about 3 years ago

good to see NA scene being competitive as well, that is what makes esports interesting cuz it isnt just dominated by one region (outsidr of some). Want to see EMEA make comeback next masters tho ;))

posted about 3 years ago

he definitely has big ego when watching his streams etc IMO, and again i dont know about the "internal issues" but could be the case. But as I said I think Valorant is new enough that teams like that can still work and win tournaments. In year or so not so much maybe,

posted about 3 years ago

I mean yeah I do believe that EMEA wasnt in its full srenght and that made it easier for NA(OpTic), but I think its not fair to call OpTic fluke. They were good in Masters 1. I do think that Fnatic (with full roster) or FPX would have made finals close or maybe even won, but OpTic definitely deserved it out of the teams in masters 1. Individually and on team level. I dont think theres single team that deserved it more considering their history (like Envy in M3). Massters 2 2022 hopefully EMEA gets proper teams, but Masters 1 OpTic takes it out of the teams and grats to them<3 Good for NA scene after horrible Champions as well and we all want competitive scene so good for them even tho it hurt me

posted about 3 years ago

True. I think signing current M3C would be too risky unless they have also signed replacements for some players. Signing someone like purp0 instead of d3ffo would for example make sense in my head. Knowing G2.

posted about 3 years ago

hopefully I HECKING LOVE NUKKYE NAD HOODY

posted about 3 years ago

I mean nukkye is that starplayer who requires a lot of recources just like someone like NiKo in G2 CSGO (not same, but kind of). It can be good and bad, but I think that in current Valorant he is good enough. For example in Niko I think he is problem for G2 (csgo) but you can't get rid of player of same caliber really no matter what. Its like curse. But yeah I agree that Mixwell is not good enough because he can have great performances on Chamber, but is really inconcistent and his Jett is pretty bad (and cant play much more unless he goes back to sentinel/viper). And for Meddo I think he is inconsistent and not crazy good, but I think he is enough for current G2 where he doesnt have to be the carry. His peak form is really good as we saw in stage 1 playoffs. I truly think that G2 just needs to find "Carry" duelist and maybe figure out IGL role and they could do well in Valorant for at least this year or so before the game and scenes improve enough,

posted about 3 years ago

read it bro its good comment or maybe not idk and yeahg giants isnt G2 but they did well in end of 2021 considering that they didnt have single player that was considered top of EMEA.

posted about 3 years ago

idk about internal problems since I havent heard, but I do think that G2 looked overall better and more promising than M3C unless its some of M3C + maybe 1 or 2 new players (purp0/ssk/Cloud or something). I think current G2 would win over current M3C. But yeah I agree that it wouldn't be surprising from G2 since they want to win for all costs. But again I do believe that current G2 with some chances could do good. Like if they signed some cracked duelist/cha,ber player and replaced Mixwell and maybe signed IGL that could replace either Avova or Meddo (considering that they have been in not so good form lately). I think shaking things up and getting rid of either of the 2 and then them going to other teams would be good for EMEA sinvce they could find new energy.

btw i didnt downvote, since I dont believe in downvoting unless its bait comment****

posted about 3 years ago

I mean there isnt too many coaches out there anyway and so far Pipson has shown great results considering how well Giants did back in the days and G2 managed to make it top 2 in emea (even tho I believe that G2 just peaked invidiaully at thar point nd I also believe that Fnatic didnt play as well as usually). Like I understand your concerns, but Pipson is pretty proven so far and its hard to find better. Also before/during stage 1 or Masters 1 nukkye said that Pipson helped him a lot when it came to calling and strategy stuff. I think we shouldnt judge him too much considering that this team doesnt have proper IGL currently. They carry player is their IGL as well. Its really similar to TL. Can we really critize Sliggy or Pipson too much (outside of comps maybe) considering thatr they dont have proper IGL. Giants was pretty structured team and they had at least some of proven IGL in Davidp. I don;t think G2's problem is about coach but abot players. I just donm't think that Mixwell brings enough outside maps where he performs on Chamber, but even that is inconsistent. Like against Acend he had huge impact on Split, but did pretty bad in map 2 and 3. I think if they replaced him with someone who could actually have more impact in consistent level and maybe add proper IGL depending on role they could do well in EMEA and in international level as well. I think all of the other players are good enough in their roles as long as their in form. Mainly talking about Avova and Meddo since they can be really good when performing theif higher individual level. Nukkye and hoody are conistently good in their roles even tho IGling has affected nukkye a bit at least esp in Masters 1. I'm drunk so I maybe make no sense but that is my analysis so far. I just think its too early to give up on this team when I think they have potential and arguably more than M3C.
