Masters with nerfed EMEA is so boring in my opinion. What is the point of Masters without full competitiveness? Just look when OpTic can't attend and NA 2nd seed gets fucked in way or another and then say how exciting it is.

posted about 2 years ago

No if EMEA gets fucked again. And even outside of that I don't think so. I believe that you won't have underdogs like Zeta making it far again.

Going to cry? "OH NOO EMEA CASTERS DON'T TALK ABOUT BRAZIL OR SEA IN EMEA BROADCAST!!!!" Also they aren't wrong. EMEA is top region and have actual competition unlike some of these minor regions.

Copenhagen: FNC, FPX, GLD (this is their time I believe, but most likely won't make it like always)

Its called fashion and in case of Rolex also statement or even investment

Nah he also performed really well in Stage 1 playoffs lower brackets as well. One of big reasons why G2 qualified IMO. He stepped up massively, but couldn't continue to Masters 1.

posted about 2 years ago

Vakk's showing so far hasn't been great. But maybe he isn't just fully comfortable on this team yet.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah... I don't know. I guess he doesn't want to play Chamber and knowing Acend they won't force him to. Just look at Bonecold during Astra meta.

posted about 2 years ago

pls keep him on Chamber

posted about 2 years ago

Why tho? They have Nivera already. And yes Dreamas is sentinel main so signing him for rest of stage 2 was bit weird move unless they are doing role changes.

posted about 2 years ago

Dreamas will most likely stay in roster until they find their real 5th. But tbh this is still bit weird. He also plays sentinel role and they already have Nivera, so I don't know are they planning on role changes.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know about this. George Geddes said that this will likely be temporarily signing and before they can find their real 5th. Still weird. Like why not just stick with L1NK unless they had some internal issues? I think Dreamas is downgrade no matter what. Obviously L1NK may not have motivation since he knows he will get benched while Dreamas is eager to show that he can perform, so maybe that is why it was done. Hope best for Dreamas tho!

Any regions where there's only 1 team dominating others

posted about 2 years ago

Kind of makes sense if they want to replace someone considering L1NK' form this year. He is amazing anchor player when he is in form, but this year he has been pretty weak for TL. While Soulcas has stepped up and has looked improved in stage 2. I just wonder where they will find better player to replace L1NK with.

I don't know just that he said he fly from Moscow.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know exactly what is the case here, but for example m0NESY was able to travel to Belgium Majors by flying Russia -> Dubai -> Belgium. Obviously I don't know the full picture, but it is definitely possible somehow as long as Riot has been preparing for it. And I don't know how Danish restriction look like.
Also week back or two both Shao and Suygetsu were playing from same room seeing in interview, so maybe they have relocated? Could just be something else, but bootcamp with only 2 players seems weird.

and for "if valo child game cs is for 50 year old boomers":
Valorant being "child game" is closer to truth than CSGO being "game for 50 year old boomers"
since both games mainly attract people who are closer to being "childs" than "50 year old"

posted about 2 years ago

No, but Valorant community definitely feels more "young" in my opinion and it doesn't have anything to do with actual player ages just with mental/culture. Valorant community is exactly what you would expect from "NA centered" game aka zoomers. And not zoomers in terms of age, but in terms of culture. While CSGO being more EU centered it doesn't follow similar culture and the culture is overall more divided and doesn't follow the newest trends as much making it feel more mature. And this simply due to game's age and main playerbase being more divided due to cultural differences (in countries/areas mainly). Playerbase ages are similar no matter how much some people try to deny it, but the cultures differs quite a lot.

TLRD: in NA they say "SHEESH!" and in EU we say "SIUU!"

that is my analysis

Good all things considered. They still do some clear mistakes especially compared to some of the other VCT teams, but all in all that is to be expected from team that came from VRL. They have showed potential and have also shown that these guys can do decently against tier 1 teams and have also proven that VRL systems actually work to some degree. Bright future for sure!

true Liquid and Acend what are you doing with comp choices waiting for Chamber nerf I guess

100$ is way too much especially considering your relationship IMO + if she truly cares about you then the gift shouldn't matter, so maybe that is good test even if it can be awkward.

posted about 2 years ago

Anyone who expects or even asks(as money not item) to get a gift worth of 100$ doesn't deserve gifts to begin with in my opinion (esp when you guys have just started talking to each other). I don't know about the rest, because I don't know you or this person. But gift part is dumb from her and the fact that she specifically said "money" like if that was proper gift in this instance anyway at least sounds weird.

posted about 2 years ago

True feels really pointless right now outside of her being the new antagonist of this series who end up dying in last episode. Also she doesn't seem to fit in so far. I don't know why. Hopefully she will get Ahsoka treatment if they have time.

posted about 2 years ago

Pretty meh so far tbh. And this is coming from big Star Wars fan. I hate how lazy the inquisitors look in this live action series compared to how they looked in Rebels. Also you had some silly dumb moments like some of those Leia chase scenes that were just silly. Also the new inquisitor Third Sister seems bad and annoying so far, but I guess they have time to make it better. It still has potentially, but so far has been bit dissapointing.

edit: just watched episode 3 and have to say that brought some hope back. Really decent episode with some small meh stuff obviously (3rd sister still feels bad). Love how it has more dark/brutal tone to it and amazing to see that from Disney. Leaning a little bit away from super kid friendly stuff. Obviously it has a lot of nostalgia factor that boosts it.

OWB or Owbe (OverWatch Better)

Little bit yes. When I actively comm I usually have more confidence in my own play, because I feel more "professional" if that makes sense. And yeah positive teammates definitely help, but don't make me perform different. Sometimes with negatives you just know that you lost the game already and don't care or if they are negative towards me I usually stop caring about the game because I'm too soft and start playing more ballsy (can lead to success sometimes).

posted about 2 years ago

IMO people are way overrating Zeta and potentially PRX. They had good Masters 1, but its pretty unlikely that they can continue that success to Masters 2.

posted about 2 years ago

Happens to me all the time. Some weeks I feel like god and super comfortable with my aim and then next week I feel like I can't hit anything and feel super uncomfortable. Weird thing. I guess its also mental thing to some degree. When you feel confident you play better most of times while wise versa if you don't trust your own aim then you won't play well. Usually get really frustrated, so that doesn't help at all. I usually change mice, mousepads and sens during this, but its not good, just better to stay with old unless you truly believe its the sens that is stopping you.

posted about 2 years ago

Vitality individuals look way more comfortable and confident. Nice to see!

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I agree, but my point was just about the 12 slot system. More slots would be better.

posted about 2 years ago

"NA will fall behind EMEA despite having a more competitive overall scene" is just pure copium. EMEA is without a doubt the more competitive region while also hosting bigger area aka EU, CIS, TR.

posted about 2 years ago

How is it terrible? EMEA, NA, SEA and BR are only regions who can send more than 1 competitive team. KR, JP and LATAM are one team regions. BR is 1-2 team region depending on form. SEA has at least couple teams that can do decently. NA has multiple competitive teams, while EMEA has slightly more and is also bigger region in terms of population/area. For 12 slots that is perfect distribution. Anything else would be biased.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know hard to say. During their first games felt like they were getting outaimed quite badly and some of the individuals weren't performing. Also their roles are bit awkward and they have been changing them quite a lot like baddyG Raze on Split and now BONECOLD Raze that just feels weird (even tho it worked) and overall you can see they are a new team in many ways. But I think they are starting to show potential in their last games. Look way more comfortable and the players have started performing and they have been pretty much rolling their couple last games and I think that could continue in French VRL.

posted about 2 years ago

Because they have 1 week between each game, so teams can prepare. That is the thing with this 1 game per week system. People have bunch of time to prepare and a lot of times the losers use more time preparing for next game and see their mistakes etc. That is why its pretty hard to stay undefeated in this system and doing so shows that you are truly good team IMO.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah feels like Acend is really old school team even after roster changes. cNed also wanted to play Chamber at start, but had bad first map and after that they didn't play him on Chamber anymore (idk is it due to Acend or cNed). They could easily run Chamber + Raze comps with cNed's insane OP skills and Zeek's Raze, but opt for other stuff.

I have always been BBL doubter, but tbh they are actually playing pretty well. Scoreline doesn't tell how close this game was IMO.

Qutioner too hungry for kills and didn't think further if you were talking about that BBL pistol behind M3C.

So far only team in Group A that has given any challenge to Fnatic is FPX and even that was done on Ascent where FPX are strong currently and Derke wasn't performing. Pretty crazy.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah so far its been downgrade from BONECOLD, but as they said they didn't share same vision so it made sense. Also we don't know what is happening with calls etc anyway.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah nice to see. Hopefully they can keep improving

Momentum ended and bit fluke run. They looked pretty ass in LEC playoffs and even lost 1-3 against Fnatic, but then they activated in lower brackets running through every team they faced and won LEC. Continued that to MSI group stages and day 1 and 2 of rumble stage, but then lost to PSG for whatever reason and looked completely ass after that. Everything from individual players like Caps being the clear MVP of this MSI at start to him playing like shit in some games, to shit teamplay after amazing teamplay earlier, to weird drafts that didn't benefit G2 really. It was like night and day difference between how they played. And obviously T1 activated as well and look scarier than before.
I don't even think it has anything to do with BO1s or BO5s really when it comes to G2 downfall.
