Seeding kind of means how low or high team is rated in region (placement). Higher seed teams are usually put against lower seed teams, so being higher seed is beneficial usually because then you will skip some of the harder teams and face weakest/weaker instead. And "seeding game" just means a game which only matters in terms of placements and doesn't change anything in chances of qualifying. And you get higher seeding by winning more games and placing top 1 in your group when it comes to VCT.

My summary of yesterdays game:
FPX - troll quite a lot. Bind was just solo play show from them. Looked like they hadn't prepared much there. Individually some of them were underperforming slightly IMO. Ardiis wasn't hitting much in map 1 and 2 and Zyppan was pretty weak most series. Just felt like this wasn't high stake game for FPX and you could see it in their gameplay. Could be wrong

Acend - definitely looking better than before. Individually most of them were on and they were outaiming and outtrading FPX for most part. They were also playing more of meta comps and that clearly helps them as well. Obviously still some clear problems, but it looked more promising. It gave me some hope for future of this team.

and about the main question: I think 3rd spot will be fought between Acend and Guild, so Acend's chances are all about how Guild looks and obviously how much Acend can improve.

I wouldn't really say that FPX "throw a ton of rounds". They don't do it more than most teams. And today's game was bit whatever seeing how loosely they played on Bind just making solo plays all over the place.

I think M3C has higher ceiling so I want to see them look good against TL today and continue improving into playoffs. But I also would like to see BIG win because it would be really cool for them and I think they looked decent against M3C.

This is what happen when there's 1 week between games for most regions that are competitive. EMEA and NA especially. Teams have week to prepare and improve or do the opposite. Have 1 off game/bad performance and that's your whole week etc.

Fnatic and FPX are still locks for me, 3rd spot is between Guild and Acend unless M3C shows up today. I don't think Liquid can make it with "substitute".

I don't think FPX are trying to their fullest. They are doing a lot of solo plays all over playing loose. While not hitting their shots really. Seems like "for fun" game if I'm honest.
