Super late reply but I never specifically stated blue lock had some sort of 10/10 story. It’s just very fun and over the top. Not every anime has to be perfect, that’s what lets you appreciate the really good ones that much more.

As someone who has read both csm and blue lock manga for a very long time I may be biased but I def think you should give blue lock another chance once all the episodes are out, I think it’s a lot more suited to binging as opposed to a episode per week kind of watch. Was a sen fan at launch since I had no prior fps experience and I thought sinatraa had good tips for an FPS noob like myself.
