I don’t think it’s a simple as that but I do know that the team with Marved on it sets up Zekken better. Tenz was entrying naked without flashes or support most of the time.

In valorant 2023 almost all duelists need some help with entry. With Marved subbed in the roles fit better to support the duelist to entry

people are acting like if tenz had sacy entry with him he wouldn’t be dropping 30 bombs.

zekken is able to pop off because he has arguably the best initiator in the world on his team. when tenz was playing duelist, sacy was on smokes.

Having marved come in has fixed the role issues sooo much... and has provided support and stability to the main duelist. Marved’s lurks and midrounding and firepower has helped so much.

Marved IS THE SOLUTION. role overlap between tenz and zekken is fixed and support is provided .

SEN would’ve won today with either tenz or zekken as main duelist as marved is the key .

question is...who do you keep?

• zekken who has a more flexible agent pool i suppose but not competitive with oping like ASPAS.

• tenz who is way better on the OP ... and says he’s willing to play any agent..

( also kind of unfair to evaluate tenz on his performance when he was sick.. also unfair since he didn’t have marved backing him up)

tenz is not the problem , but marved IS the solution..

the roles in sen look so much better now that Marved is on main roster . tenz and zekken .. just overlap somewhat..

Sen was lacking a really good lurker like marved

His ability to be where he shouldn’t be is crazy.

The reads getting so much better is no coincidence. Marved gets so much information from his lurks, which makes it so much easier for Dephh to call.

Maybe they actually make a 6man roster work?

Keep Marved as main smokes. Then you can bring in tenz for maps where you play double duelist and bench either Pancada or marved, depending on the map.

you can even just sub in tenz for Jett maps that are more op heavy because I'm pretty confident he's still a better op-er than zekken right now. Tenz on Haven and Ascent will always be scary.
