so did DRX, not to mention DRX literally lost their worst player. Stop d riding stax, the moment you actually look back and watch his performances, is the moment you realize that losing him for a player with firepower like flashback is a massive increase. Fake fan

posted 4 months ago

the team that lost to Global esports looked close to DRX?

posted 4 months ago

crazy how fracture was the most hated map a year agi

posted 4 months ago

that’s not rotating, they played the first 8 game with foxy and switched him out for a game that didn’t matter to them since they alr secured 1st seed.

Timeout thing happened a couple times against mediocre teams at the time teams.

They don’t have role issues

Foxy9 is a flex
BuZz is a flex
Beyn is a Flex

literally nobody wanted to igl, blaming that on termi is just stupid. “Just to kick him” his been the igl for almost 2 years, ur acting as if he just started igling and they kicked him after it didn’t work out, he had plenty of time. “just to put a new guy” new guy that looks a lot more promising

posted 4 months ago

just cause you can’t figure out who’s igl don’t mean they haven’t figured it out

Flashback and MaKo will run through stage 2

there wasn’t a rotating 6-man roster. Whoever told you that is a lia. Foxy9 play 8/9 regular season game. Didn’t play the last bc it didn’t matter. He play the upper semis and then upper final but when DRX lost in the upper final, he got benched, then they tried doing it with foxy9 again at masters and it didn’t work out, then he got benched for champs.

That not calling timeout thing only happened in regular season. whoever told you it was a constant thing was lying to you.

Flashback is a significant firepower increase to stax and the fact that DRX chokes so much is a testament to the igl not doing well in the team. Replacing him and starting over will always be the better decision than settling for the same shit over and over again

edg still hard clears the rest on cn except fpx

posted 4 months ago

why does adding a player he hasn’t touched professional tier 1 vct in almost a year give LOUD such a massive boost

posted 4 months ago

fpx easily clears all of china except EDG, they are better than edg but they dont clear them easily

posted 4 months ago

idk why, but i feel like this roster wouldn’t do that well. I think there are worse roster combos talent wise that would perform better.

Literally nobody wanted DRX to make changes, they didn’t make international event because they were knocked out by the best team itw twice. Only lost to PRX and Gen g all year. Closest match other than matches against gen g and PRX was a match against t1 where they destroyed them in maps 2 and 3. They got a significant firepower upgrade, and now have stability. Not to mention, they are one of the most structured teams so changes to meta right b4 kickoff messed them up. Also they had a sub for all of stage 2, and it was a last minute sub as well. Ppl look at the fact that they haven’t qualed for masters as a sign that they are getting worse, but, they were literally closer to beating gen g than any other team, including TH.

that whole idea about foxy9 being ahead of the time is deadass a take platchat made a year ago when he was only on duelist

All the possibilities imo
Duelist- BuZz
Controller- MaKo
Initiator- BeYn
Sentinel- Flashback
Flex- Foxy9

you do realize that DRX only lost 3 times all year to elite teams and got rid of their weakest link right?

posted 4 months ago

they are all DRX prospects players / ranked demons

posted 4 months ago

drx only lost to prx and gen g all year btw.

posted 4 months ago

Stax wasn’t doing their mid rounding b4, it was BeYn. So whatever mid rounding they had in stage 1 is still there.

posted 4 months ago

sure compared to 2022 it was a decrease, however, the team as a whole had no improvement from the previous year while everyone got better.

posted 4 months ago

i agree with this but this is literally worst case scenario

posted 4 months ago

mako was the highest rated and best performing player on a top 6 team at champs, idk what part of that means mid but whatever. At tokyo, we was their best player for 3 out of the 5 games. their 2nd best for 1 out of 5. And arguably their 3rd or 4th best for another. Also, when ur team plays bad you also play bad, so it’s not surprising he had some bad stats(still ended up with a 1.06 rating btw). When you have two players on ur team with a 160 acs, it’s nearly impossible to do good as well. Despite all that, was still the 2nd highest rated controller at both tokyo and champs out of all controllers in the tourney, the highest at lock/in and the highest in regular season.

it is also partially termi’s fault but since i think he panicked, despite going undefeated in the regular szn with foxy9. The one time they lost a match in him, they kicked him to the curb. BuZz was alright, yes he underperformed, but DRX as a whole underperformed.

My personal ranking goes as

  1. MaKo(always reliable)
  2. BuZz(very low peak but still consistent to a degree)
  3. rb(really good until champs)
  4. foxy(got done dirty)
  5. zest did well despite being subbed in out
  6. Stax
posted 4 months ago

last year, DRX beat player was MaKo, not close either. He was the mvp of pacific last year. Out of decent performances in champs and . But tbf they were very inconsistent which is why they got branded as chokers. Zest was bad at masters, solid at champs. Rb was good at masters but horrible at champs. Stax was bad at both.

posted 4 months ago

who’s better than them other than PRX and Gen G rn.
DRX is 12-1 on maps against teams not named PRX or Gen G this year. They got one of the best KR aimers to replace an igl known for choking

posted 4 months ago

the way platchat has manipulated everyone into thinking termi is a bad coach despite rb zest and stax putting up some of the worst performances i’ve ever seen in a big game is crazy work.

posted 4 months ago

Heavy on the DRX. Flashback has potential to be even better than MaKo. For once they have an aimer as good as mako, DRX future is bright

posted 4 months ago

how have DRX not been convincing. Have only lost 3 times all year. twice to gen g and once to PRX. Every other match has been a quick 2-0 with the exception of the 1 match against t1 where DRX won 13-5 and 13-6 on map 2 and 3

posted 4 months ago

yoman is great, he has literally done nothing to deserve the level of hype he’s getting, stew is the goat tho. h4te aight

posted 4 months ago

okay, they never gave him a chance yes, but that was bc he was(BY FAR) their worst performing player. Your also acting as if he played with VS for a long time, it was only a couple months

posted 4 months ago

we never did lakia dirty what????

posted 4 months ago

Vision Strikers not DRX. And he wasn’t bench warming, we was their 6th on a team that had a 6 man roster with the players constantly switching out with each other. Stop trying to create a narrative that isn’t there

posted 4 months ago

Lakia played 7 games for vision strikers and that’s it, stop trying to find something that just isn’t there

DRX vs Gen G Grand Finals(DRX win 3:2 in a reverse sweep) triple OT map 5
OG kings of pacific vs The New kings of Pacific

August 25th. We will be there no matter what, it will be legendary

he’s saying the choking has transferred over to the val team when the LOL team finally won MSI

posted 4 months ago

we didn’t trip, DRX hit their ceiling. Crazy how everyone called our ex players chokers but when DRX finally dropped them the narrative changed it’s seen as a bad move
