Zmjjkk stats at madrid:
1.00 rating 252 acs
B4 the LOUD game where the whole team just imploded and qck had a life game, his stats were, 1.16 rating 284 acs
He is not washed and still in his prime, EDG simply aren’t good enough strat wise and that partly because of how sub par the chinese region is. They don’t know whether the starts and comps are working or if it is just a skill diff.

Also, while it is true that kk event negative at shanghai, he still had a very respectful 243 acs
Smoggy was their best shanghai player with a 1.1 kd and 237 acs

but after those 2, there is a massive fall off
with the other 3 plays having an acs of 160
186 being the highest and 136 being the lowest

also an average kd of 0.71

EDG success was mostly bc of kk and smoggy however they other support players were still playing well.

However they did not during both shanghai and madrid, that’s why a roster change happened.

Lastly, we should all be aware that this team still does have plenty of potential, ppl write it off but they did beat PRX at shanghai, and took gen g to map 3

posted 3 months ago

you gotta have flashback in this roster

posted 3 months ago

Sen way too high, remember gen g at madrid is a lot worse than current gen g now that Lakia started shooting back

posted 3 months ago

I remember just a month ago you and I were arguing over DRX
You were being realistic when i was coping heavy

But look how far they came… I’m feeling a legendary DRX run incoming

posted 3 months ago

not even that hot of a take imo

posted 3 months ago

Surely you guys get Zander right, only way you don’t is if M80 wins ascension.

Is there an NA team that needs a controller right now?

Oxy
Zander
Paincakes
XXiF
furbsa

yes i deadass took the players in t2 with the highest acs on each role which isn’t really a good idea but this c9 team ain’t going anywhere. They made playoffs both stages but i don’t recall a single person thinking they would qualify.

edit: do they not exist?

posted 3 months ago

I agree. That sunset performance on map 2 against geng in uppers gave me all the hope i need that he will be back stronger than ever

Check the bio

im liking the confidence from him

edit: it says “im going to win the world championship”

posted 3 months ago

Also, when talking about their competition, they sound confident that they can beat them, where b4 it wasn’t like that.

I’m also really happy that they almost beat gen G and beat PRX

Now, that the mental block is removed, I hope they have the confidence that they are capable of beating any team in the world.

They also seem aware of the mistakes they made that lost them the match so there are things to improve on

posted 3 months ago

It’s AI, it’s taking the top 2 in every region to the playoffs.

posted 3 months ago

Yeah KRU are a very confusing team to me. They can play horrible but then play well the next day.

My prediction is a DRX 2 - 0 KRU
Map 1: 13-10 a few clutches by MaKo and BuZz and maybe flashback manages to push them through a very close map
This map gives the rookies confidence, I think they start out nervous but then start to get comfortable.
Map 2: 13-8 DRX starts off very dominant, they get to map point and KRU string a couple rounds together at the end but not enough

Simple win, map 1 being way closer than what the score
suggest. DRX don’t show much

posted 3 months ago

Nobody is really counting them out. But based on recent performance, they are probably the 3rd best team in the group. It’s only natural ppl think the 2 best teams go through. But the whole reason ppl call it the group of death is because Sen adds that danger, because in upset is very possible.

posted 3 months ago

I literally just explained why it doesn’t really count in my first reply

posted 3 months ago

That masters doesn’t count, it was only Korea teams playing.

posted 3 months ago

i can feel it in my bone, they can do it.

That level of improvement in a short amount of time and a Solid map pool

I feel like BeYn gonna have a resurgence, playing more initiator and getting better at the role.

posted 3 months ago

true, that draw actually made me happy that DRX lost.

Not because of the teams but because I don’t want DRX to show everything because they had a group of death like they did last year

posted 3 months ago

mf was tryna to be fair to everyone

posted 3 months ago

Idk why, and honestly there is no reason to actually feel this way. But I think DRX and Gen G will gap the competition.

In playoff it had DRX beating everyone 2-1 and 3-2 in the Grand Final lol, i hope

posted 3 months ago

i feel a kangkang masterclass incoming

posted 3 months ago

I like this. But Acend was different because DRX had like 2 roster changes and 6 roles changes throughout the year

posted 3 months ago

1st DRX
2nd Gen G
3rd Fnatic
4th Leviatan

posted 3 months ago

I fw this

posted 3 months ago

Gen G did great, and I won’t straight up lie and say DRX are better than them rn.

But… i just remembered that Gen G did also have a double map ban advantage, one of the maps being sunset, a map that DRX beat Gen G on in upper finals.

Just saying, don’t think that this run was just a fluke, this team is the real deal

posted 3 months ago

they weren’t underperforming tho

posted 3 months ago

that’s when looking at stats, however, they that’s not you see when they were in game. DRX is a team that looks for contact and trades a lot especially on attack. They don’t mind losing a player as long as they trade him. This is a common trait of old DRX. If you look at a lot of games from the past, you will see that they lose that fk/fdbattle a lot. There was a guy that created a spreadsheet of the best teams when it comes to trading and DRX were the best at it

go sleep

posted 3 months ago

please win champs
I know you guys have it in you

If you can go from losing dominantly to Gen G and PRX
to dropping your igl and key member of the core for 3+ years

Then putting all the pressure of igling on a 22 year old that was the 2nd youngest on the team last year.

And then get dramatically worse and even lose a match to RRQ(they aren’t bad but it’s the only non-PRX/Gen G team they lost to all year) and then barely squeeze out a win against talon and then dropping a map to DFM(i didn’t think they were trying)

… To beating PRX for the first time in 400 days and giving gen g a run for their money

Then I know if you keep improving at this rate, you can win champs

posted 3 months ago

go to sleep, you’ve been awake like 18+ hours now, ik ur tired

posted 3 months ago

I think if you give DRX a little more time to solidify themselves a their team play, BeYn will shine. He had an insane map against gen g map 2 of upper finals so he definitely has it in him. Also, he’s being purposefully(tactically) baited a lot for the sake of the team.

posted 3 months ago

????? i’m guessing you don’t watch FUT.
Their whole thing is that they play weird comps and their team play is inconsistent but they get by because of aim

posted 3 months ago

okay.

posted 3 months ago

guessing it’s EDG

posted 3 months ago

that same playstyle won them the series against PRX tho

posted 3 months ago

That’s literally his playstyle, when it works everyone praises him, when it doesn’t, everyone clowns on him. But its his playstyle nonetheless

posted 3 months ago

Gen G won the fk/fd battle 61 to 38.

Important takeaway is that DRX came away from this match knowing exactly what they need to improve on as a team.

They did well and ended only having a -4 round differential despite the match ending 1-3

Also, this might be cope, but all 5 Gen G players were won today, hopefully, just maybe, it could have been different if one of them had an off day. That’s the case about half the time in gen g games but they win anyways since the others would just carry.

posted 3 months ago

way less than 24 hours. Doubt they even scrimmed

posted 3 months ago

idk, limited preparation(?)

We just came off a series against PRX, didn’t have much time.

posted 3 months ago

A comeback would be nice

posted 3 months ago

FOXY9 HATER????!?!?!? Why?

posted 3 months ago

His util is fine, all that is needed is confidence and that will only increase in time

posted 3 months ago

Honestly, we could all point at round 12 as the reason DRX lost, but Gen G are known for those moments. We should lowkey focus on the fact DRX lost double pistol and double bonus

posted 3 months ago

bro, the game has evolved, this current gen g would beat any team in 2022 easily. Even sliggy said that watching China gives him flashbacks of vct 2022.

posted 3 months ago

Not a good stat

In valorant, a clutch is a 1v2+and most of DRX’s clutches if not all were very winnable, you just had to hit ur shots which they can do, however, so many rounds, 2 or 3 gen g players get out of impossible situations

posted 3 months ago

Gen G is a pretty solid icebox team. They dominated PRX on it. But hopefully DRX picked it for a good reason.

posted 3 months ago

This is literally what Gen G do, they are all clutch masters, every time.

posted 3 months ago

that must be 4 clutches by gen g right. Everything is so close
