he’s not gonna get fired, his job was never on the line
true, and he’s 100% staying if DRX don’t make it, he’s alr talked about plans on the playstyle he want them to play in the future if they don’t make it to champs
no, they couldn’t pay as much as t1 did, they tried to renew his contract in 2023 and 2024
it was back during kickoff after gen g beat talon, is was probably at the worst then. Literally so many ppl shit talking SEA and saying Kr should be their own region. And they all had US flairs. It started out as banter but then ppl actually started shit talking the teams
literally haven’t said a single bad word about any SEA team except Talon
btw, it was all NA fans that were disrespecting SEA
no he meant more like playstyle changes. He want the team to be faster and more aggressive. Basically playing into their strengths
I see your point, but termi in the post-match interview did say he wants to take DRX in a much different direction than they are currently. My whole problem with changing coach is that who out there(kr coach) can you say is actually better or even as good
ex-Talon players have, Frost even made it clear that the accusations weren’t even about DRX in the first place but only addressed it on his podcast and not on twitter knowing damn well nobody watches his podcast. The personal beef started with a mistranslation and Frost endlessly insulted termi and is too embarrassed to admit he got fooled by a fan translator.
tbh, i’m fine with current team, for once i think its best to just stick with the current team and just get better together. Team still has 2.5 rookies so it’s not like there is no room for improvement. Estrella pains me but a whole offseason can really do a lot
they need to have free1ng playing on more suitable agents, not his fault he’s getting fucked over by role issues. Like senti and sova are nothing alike at all. When he does get to play senti or viper he plays well
I actually think DRX will mostly likely keep estrella.
I don’t really want that to happen but it is what it is, i still think he can get better.
Termi said they will be planning on playing a lot more aggressive comps and double duelist which is a step in the right direction. Now, what I actually think is most important would be to get estrella on scan and which means free1ng can play roles like flash init and senti.
TBH i do think that the meta really took a massive step away from DRX which is a reason for the struggles.
So tbh, regardless of if we make champs or not, I already have plenty of hope for next year.

actually nah, tejo was his most played agent in stage 1 yet he actually struggled a lot on it during stage 1. Funnily enough, his performance started to dip once estrella became IGL
that 11 alr includes the 3rd place points
Hopefully if we make it, the team decides to play without him. Not only done MaKo IGL better but he’s also just a way better fragger.

same amount, both teams left Saudi the same time. Plus gen g still had momentum and form from toronto and ewc whereas DRX didn’t even practice at or for EWC because it was pointless
lol, as if we didn’t have a sub with appendicitis. So excuses are okay for the other teams even tho it’s their fault but for DRX M it isn’t okay even tho it was out of our control
only lost to gen g bc they had no practice time. Beat NS even tho the players on DRX literally said they had no time to practice. Beat TS who had momentum after beating GE. Then beat RRQ who had momentum from beating Gen G and NS. Then beat a GE team that had no pressure on them whatsoever.
lol, how is top 4 mid, they also were the best team in stage 1 b4 flashback left, not to mention they beat gen g in stage 1 with a sub, and only lost to rrq(stage 1 winner’s) and prx(toronto winner) and boom. Beat everyone else
what exactly have they been more consistent at this year
All 3 qualified to one int event and placed at least top 6, but gen g is the only team that is yet to win a tourney this year
