The players are young and they will get better individually as time goes on. MaKo will be better at igling. And they still scrim Gen G a lot, so practice will be very impactful.

Maybe lotus was the better option. Our lotus didn’t look that great against trace even though we destroyed them but it’s a map we have played twice at champs and we only let up 9 rounds total.

he basically talked about the fact that the gap between EDG and most of the other cn teams is so big that that they don’t know if certain strats, comps or playstyles actually work bc they can just be skill diffing the other teams and beat them anyways

This isn’t how the playoffs work, you can’t match up with team in ur own group in quarterfinals.

In fact, each group will have 1 team on each side of bracket.

Example

A1 vs D2
C1 vs B2

B1 vs A2
D1 vs C2

The only time you would ever be able to play a team from your group in the playoffs is in the upper finals, lower round 2, lower finals and grand finals

I’m seeing a lot of ppl saying drop Lakia. While I don’t agree, I do understand. Despite not being an igl, he easily puts up the worst individual performances on the team. Yes, his utility is great, but at the professional level, that should be the standard for all support players. I doubt they will replace him, unless Gen G’s performance next year starts to dip

First of all, mindfreak’s aim is good. Second, aim was never PRX’s problem. Third, how about kicking the guy who can only play raze and sage(sage not hard to play). Or even kicking the duelist that can’t play raze.

This straight up forces david and forsaken to flex every fucking role because those guys agents pools are so fucking small.

Mindfreak is the only guy to that consistently plays his roles well. Controller players aren’t suited for a fast playstyle that revolves pushing aggressively. If you noticed things about the best controller, they utilize their smokes for themselves alot(especially if they play double smokes comp) They play around their smokes, best example of this is MaKo and Karon at times. Mindfreak can’t do that because they use their smokes damn near instantly every round
