S tier map is like nobody at the tournament is taking it off them unless something majorly goes wrong but A tier map is like beatable if the other team is also just as good if not better. also s tier maps were more dictated by results then anything else.
Sen are banning it lol and the only result this stage was 14-12 NRG which i remember clearly in that game was a total collapse that was saved by sacy and zellsis heroics. NRG also lost sunset to C9 so idk what to tell you sen dont have a good map right now besides maybe lotus. im not even a hater its just what the results say.

i agree china is always gonna get underrated but trace is like picking drg to win a game i just dont see a world where that happens in their first international plus they are known chokers even in china and i think vitality are quite good so i just dont see a world
i agree but its hard to judge because it looked fixed against lev who are insane on the map maybe b would have been more fair but im a bit biased towards g2

looks fixed from when they played against lev but who knows its only 1 game so hard to judge there were couple of maps like that
lol i was shocked when i saw how bad their pistol wins were
MEGA THREAD (ALLAT)
went into every teams map pool (excluding china) to compare them to help with my pick ems, i decided this by the winrate, amount of times played, and who they beat (along with a bit of eye test) thought id share :)
The tiers and what they mean are as follows:
S (would almost certainly beat any team)
A (Consistently beating or has beaten great teams)
B (Solid Coinflip map if playing a team on their skill level)
C (Weak point in the map pool would probably lose unless playing a team on their skill level)
D (would almost certainly lose)
as for pistols its self explanatory i decide to remove some games from the stats because i didn't feel like it would be an accurate way to judge them.
(an example being talon playoff games after secret because they admitted to basically throwing and giving up)

vitality dead weight is actually pretty good under pressure like kicks doesnt frag heavy but hes always good for a clutch and ceNder is igl so its not expected for him to frag but he does pop off at some point in each series. idk you say you dont watch a lot of emea so i think you will be surprised with vitality they are really good they only lost to fnatic all season and fnatic are looking like 1 of the favorites to win the event. they also stomped heretics like it was not close at all.
if g2 get grouped im legit quitting life
drx vs kru is in my mind a complete 50/50 and vit vs lev i think is very close both have 2-3 individuals step up to carry them and couple of deadweights and their map pool is similar
i agree but not because of trace lol i think talon are a mega x factor and lev havent had any good international results ever so we will see if this time is different.
trace are mega chokers even in china they are NOT the team to go on a lower bracket run
