Saadhak was never and will never be the best igl

posted about a year ago

Look at any team that has made it to top 1 and stayed there across both CSGO and Valorant.

All of them had a strong dedicated IGL, who usually was quite meh individually.

You can’t just get rid of boaster and expect fnatic to continue to perform

posted about a year ago

Probably 16-17 as a realistic average.

Loads of 14-15 year olds and then some outlier hltv veterans to offset that number and take it to 16-17

boaster most consistent IGL since start of valorant? Topping EMEA since SUMN FC days, and later world for a long while? Defining and/or perfecting the meta on half the maps in the game? Trophies?

His teams have always been highly coordinated, even when they were lacking firepower before they signed Leo and Alfa. That's the true hallmark of a great IGL.

"aspas go kill" is not a great strat

People who continue to disregard boaster are absolutely braindead or do not understand the game.

The metas on half the maps were either defined or perfected by boaster/mini combo.

fnatic, even back in SUMN FC days, were always known for their amazing coordination, even when they were lacking some extra firepower that they now do have. Hallmark of a great IGL.

putting boaster under those 3 is a crime

I'd assume the profit margins to be a pretty large % knowing how these things work.

The biggest dependency that determines TenZ' personal profit margin is the percentage of the margin that is agreed to split with the actual manufacturer. Numbers are large enough to warrant significant bulk buy discounts.

No need to spend on any marketing and the overhead associated with it, which other brands DO have to do. No need to share margins by selling on platforms like Amazon as you can easily go direct given his leverage with his fans.

His personal margins are almost guaranteed to be large unless he negotiated a shit deal with the manufacturer.

Source: Used to be the lead for the electronics category for a global retailer and led negotiations with the vendors, including one top 20 vendor for all of EMEA

It's literally in the OP

Also why would you lose the best IGL for someone who does not IGL, who has role clashes with the rest of the team (Alfa)?? Leadership issues would arise immediately.

Wow that was boaster IGLing and nAts not IGLing.

Proof is in the pudding. Can't replace an IGL with nAts.

Absolutely.

cNed individually better.
ardiis may be worse individually, but fits much better in Na'Vi as a whole/as a team.

And 2 weeks before that they lost vs them.

1-1 head to head.

Most lefties just play right handed. I'm a leftie too. If you share a computer growing up, you couldn't just change settings every time.

As a kid I never even changed keybinds. The standard keybinds were simply the keybinds I used. Some games didn't even allow you to change keybinds.

Left click was shoot in every shooter, so never even occured to me to use the mouse in my left hand.

Someone doesn't know what "GOAT" means.

Imagine not considering the past when considering GOAT status. Imagine only looking at the last year. Imagine not being able to rub some braincells together.

If your answer isn’t chronicle or derke, you don’t deserve to participate in this conversation.

He was a pretty decent awper. Was replaced by Zywoo who’s a top 2 player

posted about a year ago

Hear me out:

In favor of cNed:
-cNed better individually on specific agents
-higher peak and carry potential

In favor of ardiis:
-deeper agent pool
-more adaptable
-needs less teammate util to set him up
-more of a hype man

In conclusion:
Despite cNed being a better individual player, Ardiis is the better fit for Na’Vi cause of how frequently they change strats, and doesn’t need the strats to be based on enabling him as much as cNed. Also Na’Vi was missing a hype man with stoic Shao, Suy and Ange1 on the team

Fpx so good they cleared OpTic hard, and the org just moved to asia. Nobody disbanded

Terrible bait

Probably, sure. Still irrelevant to the point you were trying to make.

posted about a year ago

Solid reasoning.

However, that's not taking into account what the POTENTIAL market value is of some other EMEA players like Leo for example, to buy out of their contracts.

In real terms for this off-season and the available players on the market in that respect, I don't doubt it was Sayf

posted about a year ago

And? Irrelevant for the market value of their players.

When they're talking about expensive players they're not talking about their salary, they're referring to how much they would sell for on the market/to buy out of their contracts.

Obviously some fnatic players would go for the some of the highest buyouts in Europe, likely even world.

I wouldn’t say it was a honeymoon phase from how you could see them play with each other.

In a honeymoon phase you’re talking natural chemistry and individual brilliance stemming from newfound hunger.

I saw a lot of thought through plays leveraging individual’s playstyles. The way they set OXY up for success sometimes was quite intricate.

What they need is this kind of thinking through more scenarios on more maps, and filling in the gaps that they’re opening by making these 2-3 men plays.

Very promising for sure.

No chance for C9 in a BO5. They could maybe pull off an upset in a BO3. Not a BO5, can’t see it happening

Smartest American.

There’s flashes of brilliance in C9, but not good enough yet to face fnatic in bo5

People sleeping on this. Actually looks really decent

Actually a good list for once

People who complain about derke being on the list show they only understand valorant from a ranked play perspective and don’t understand organized pro play

NiP with device placed higher than NiP before and after him

posted about a year ago

Not unanimous.

Device goat for real tho. Elevates any team he joins. Not the case for s1mple

Device all round better player in team setting
S1mple kills more people

Obvious who I’d like to have in my team more

posted about a year ago

Drawing is god tier.

No way I’m wasting another X amount of rounds cause people aren’t working well together.

Usually you only get to a overtime if both teams are equally making mistakes. I’m not trusting my team to keep their composure and suddenly stop making mistakes. Rather end it in a draw asap and start next
