Are we really surprised that EG fucked over all their players?
I feel like it's extremely well documented how shit this org is run. If you don't follow CSGO, they are notorious for treating players and staff terribly to the point that no tier1 player wants to sign with them and many have complained. The EG players are fantastic but I'm not surprised the org did fuck all to help or maintain this success. I wouldn't even be surprised if Potter had to fight to have the secondary squad and convince the organization it was worth it.

however I think teams have a tendency to sign really young players (17-18) and try to mold them into world class stars from a young age
unfortunately sometimes I don't think that's the best route, I'd agree n4rrate is a better signing
3rd point don't fully agree on, bjor was consistently good on that team and deserves a shot at T1 :^) everyone else didn't perform up to the standard I think they should've for the season

oxy is younger and has potential to grow but n4rrate is him
I think they saw it as an investment rather than an immediate bump in performance but I agree n4rrate would've been a fantastic pickup

he is known for being a duelist, but in all honesty I have no idea what role he played on the secondary EG squad. Would be interesting to know :) bcj mentions in a tweet that icy played duelist, reformed played sentinel, apoth played controller and bcj we know is an initiator. so perhaps a secondary initiator or flex? only options really there.

I actually put more context into my quote than Diogo did for the article about rhyme retiring to study, where he put the following:

holding accountable vs requesting change is semantics sure, I guess you could say "I'm holding him accountable for not holding himself accountable" but it just sounds off to me. The logic is that he would read this, go "wow I didn't care but maybe I should since I'm alienating myself from the community" and see the all the attention put on his actions. Your original statement of "they aren't accountable" is true, they are not, but they should be if they want to continue being a successful company. Companies have shut down because of people's complaints and lack of revenue from them due to others seeing the complaints and not using the service. While I doubt this post will have that affect, I think it's important to at least get the message out there for those who care and hopefully to Diogo himself, but it seems like that will not happen. on the boycotting note, his newest article had someone literally comment "not reading because it's by ds_santos" so at least someone is doing it, but obviously that doesn't matter since they clicked through. if someone can't bring up what they find wrong with what someone did just because it won't start a full on boycott, then no change would be made in the world since most of the time the starting point is not that extreme for these issues. No point in commenting further, you are a 0 star who's entire profile is arguing.
