Ngl, I don't think we have had an interesting agent since Gecko. Iso, Deadlock and Vyse have no personality and the only interesting thing about Clove is being non-binary. Next agent better get some real love.
Blud said he would begin streaming 12h a day starting today. Where is bro at.
I already knew SR would win this no problem but 26-0 is crazy.
Barca redemption. We will NOT go out sad.
Don't really care but Katsumi seems to be the more stable of the two so I am inclined to believe that she is the one telling the truth. Maybe Bob truly did feel cheated on but if they were not actually together then it is not cheating. In any case, it was petty of Bob to write that tweet accusing Katsumi of cheating under the guise of going through "healing". That is some slimy stuff.
That is the kind of girl you make a wife, no? Big W.
I was reading through it because I know nothing about them and thought no way bro snuck this in there.
Lmao, Bob has this in their "about me" section:
My current list of achievements include:
• cheated on
I do not know if that was always there but if not bro is hall-of-fame passive aggression.
Wait, I did not know Keznit was this based. All my favourite movies.
It is not something you really notice until you start travelling and then you come back home and the difference is wild. Honestly, 90% of the time it is just because they are slimmer and healthier.
1 week into getting a white girl and bro thinks he is kingpin now.
Bob is active on VLR too so they are probably reading all of this, I wonder if they will respond.
Actually feel bad for Barca fans, they looked promising but couldn't close any games out.
Riot has made no comment on it as far as I know. Though, people are saying it is barely an advantage in CS and even less in Valorant so unlikely it would be banned.
They have a bad reputation but then you watch a few and find out that they are not all into the "cutesy" personality. A couple of the ones I stuck around with were just very chill and mature. It becomes not so different from a regular stream with the face-cam replaced for the 3D model.
Every pro has a Wooting keyboard so this is relevant enough to share here.
CS player had Wooting's "snaptap" feature enabled, map was forfeited but fans want the whole team disqualified for cheating. Apparently the feature can enable itself if the software resets which is the defense some people are giving.
What is it? It detects the key you wish to press and automatically deactivates the other, makes strafing instant at a hardware level instead of needing the skill to do it manually. Razer released the feature first and then Wooting updated their keyboards with it.
I do not think that Riot has banned the feature so Valorant pros with Razer or Wooting should be safe.
Update: The penalised team has lost at 2-2 due to the ruling passed, traditionally they would have won at 2-1.
I remember them from Rocket League back in 2018, guess they liked being in esports and branched out after that.
It is 2024 bro, half of the people who go to the gym ARE the same people watching Vtubers.
I was never convinced with their run. It felt like things just happened to work out for them but compared to EDG, TH and SEN, something felt off. I think Bren's stance is too negative because no team gets that far without wanting it, but they did lack something.
girls are hot
Underrated metric for moving somewhere, ngl.
(girls do it too so do not feel weird about it boys)
Either Riot is having technical problems making one or they have not dedicated any time towards it. It is kind of unnacceptable for a professional esport in this day and age to lack an in-client replay system, especially one as strat-heavy as Valorant.
Akarin was one of the first I checked out, they seem cool but their chat moves too fast for me to properly read Japanese and learn.
The few I checked out were all low ranked but they were not try-harding and mostly talking to the chat so that was not too bad.
I used to think so at first but I also thought the same thing about anime before I gave it a shot. The Vtuber style of streaming itself does not seem to be so bad, especially if a streamer wants to remain anonymous but still have some form of personality.
Random question, I know.
I recently set my Twitch to Japanese (learning the language) and a lot of the Japanese streamers for Valorant are Vtubers. I decided to give them a fair shot and a few of them were actually okay with a decent following. I suppose it is just a little hard to see the appeal unless you really have a preference for 3D girls with big boobs (though, there are streamers with more PG models too).
The posts I saw recently were only criticising the closed eco-system of GC and poor quality of games. In any case, no, it is not impressive that a challenger/tier-2 capable player can farm ascendants in GC.
are you allergic to hot women?
For the record, what GC players look like is irrelevant. I do not care if they were all models, is this a beauty pageant or professional Valorant?
Also T1 teams should allow woman to trial for the roster.
None of the VCT leagues are restricted by gender, players get trials if they are scouted as being good picks. We are just yet to see any female players be better picks than male players.
I mean, this could be settled with experiments similar to what you suggest, they would just be too unethical to ever happen.
Interesting read even if you are just yapping for fun.
Though, I really do wish people would give the biological differences argument a little bit more consideration. Even if most girls play less games than most boys it does not explain the lack of successful professional female players when competing against men. In theory, we are taking 100 good male players and 100 good female players and the men are winning 99% of the time. Is this not a bit absurd?
I would still like to see GC players take a shot at the main league either way and see how they fair.
I just looked back at SRGC (2023 GC champs) and they had competed in the NA open qualifiers for challengers after GC champs. I believe this was set up by the org themselves but it shows that there is an opportunity to streamline GC into the main league officially. Challengers is a good start and regulation rules would still be applicable to the GC team if they can not keep up, what matters most is their exposure to the main league.
To this day I am still mad that they signed one of the best EU ranked initiators as a CC. I know they still have musashi but Ananas has been doing very well in challengers and has even subbed in for musashi for two games and had good performance. Give my guy a real shot.
GC is such a weird league, no connection to any other part of VCT, tier-4 gameplay, no progression system for the winning team of GC champs...What is the point of all this representation if it is not worth following. Ascension clears.
