INDIVIDUALLY, Ethan will be, and IS better than JohnQT
I'm not writing an extensive list of reasons for 70 players. I'm sorry lmfao
Yeah I was thinking about putting him on the list somewhere
By winning a CHAMPIONSHIP and placing 2nd at Masters
WHERE IS YOUR ARGUMENT!?!?!??!?!
just spouting nothing
I've argued my point in response to other comments in this thread. Competition will be much harder in Split 1 than in Kick Off obviously. I expect 100T to do well in the regular season and naturally there is less pressure on Eeiu, allowing him to strive more individually than JohnQT, who leads the team.
This is literally the difference between one placement that we are arguing about lmfao
Again, there is 0 constructive criticism here and there is no point in you responding lmfao.
Also get your copy and paste ass comeback out of here LMFAO
Wait. Nevermind there have been 3. Even then though, that isn't that many.
Haven't we only had TWO tournaments since franchising that actually had playoffs, and both playoffs had at least 2 EMEA teams? Right? Liquid and FNATIC at Tokyo, FUT and FNATIC at Champs?
If a university fielded team won challengers. Like Winthrop or Maryville for example, would they just be promoted like any other team?
Solo Omen on Lotus and then that Sunset comp.....
Likeeeee WHAT AM I WATCHING
I can't get over Turtle Troop's Sunset comp
Can't really argue with this much. I think we could be underrating EG though.
Love the really well thought out point that you made in your original comment though! Thanks 😊
I think TuyZ is a great player, but with the other teams having more time to practise. Like 100T, LEV, NRG and EG for example. I don't think LOUD will have a great 2024, hindering TuyZ performance wise.
As for Oxy and Keznit, those guys are just mechanically some of the best players in the game, and they'll be standouts within their teams for sure. Especially on their roles.
I don't know if anyone of you guys are watching this Turtle Troop game but god their Sunset comp was dogshit
In Madrid playoffs? Because the highest rated player in that part of the tournament was Zekken for Sentinels and regardless, I'm not only going to use playoffs as a measuring point for how I rank a player.
Anyways, this is just my prediction for how players will perform individually in Split 1.
Elaborate
Great analysis dude! I can really see where you're coming from with this point!
I think so. Firepower on the team is still crazy, especially within KangKang, Smoggy and Nobody and they proved that at Tokyo.
I don't think their issues stem from individuals. I think that their overall team work, however; is dreadful. Whether that be trading, peaking off of each other or just generally supporting each other with utility like flashes (especially KangKang, who often goes unsupported by his initiators)
I'm waiting for Yay to have a TenZ level comeback
I don't see EDG getting much better this year I'm afraid.
Individually, yes. Not considering IGL factor as much.
Don't think that there's much difference between them; they're interchangeable if anything, but I'm expecting 100T to come up huge during Split 1 and naturally there's far less pressure on Eeiu than JohnQT, considering John is leading.
Here is my comprehensive list of the top 20 players from each region (10 for China) going into Split number 1
Don't get too mad, remember this is my opinion!
EMEA Top 20 AME Top 20 PAC Top 20 CHINA Top 10
I think you nailed the top 5, don't think I would have ordered it the same though.
What other Grand Finals did they cast? Was it just LOCK//IN and Copenhagen?
Of course he isn't the best duelist on his team, but holding him to the standard of SAYF, who is arguably one of the best duelists in the world with much more experience is laughable, they're clearly building for long term goals which is imperative for the development of the scene as a whole.
And if Sayf doesn't want to play duelist, then don't make him play duelist, he can still get significant value on other roles.
In hindsight, now that the 2024 has gotten off to a start. I am so upset that we never got to see that team play together after their win at champions last year.
runneR is a great duelist and I have no doubt that he'll improve quickly as a rookie player. Like- come on, it's his first year competing, give him some leeway.
AME
EMEA
Pacific
China
Just an experience thing really
I wonder what all those TenZ haters are doing right now.
You can't undermine how well Gen.G have played this tournament though
Pacific will get there one day! Maybe even this year!
