I have seen all regions and KRU and Leviatan (I expect them to beat NIP easily ngl) are top, they play really well, APAC is doomed they are shit, EMEA I might be biased but I feel like every team that was in Playoffs could win VCT in any other region, NA has 2 good teams but I dont like Optic honestly I dont think they play that well sometimes but Guard are incredible, Loud have potential to win it all but those things take time so if they are able to beat teams like KRU, DRX and Optic they should be happy, Zeta looked really good to me in grand final and for sure better than APAC teams but Japan is pretty shit overrall so its a different game playing well against bots and doing it against the best in the world.

Also honestly I feel like Gambit and FPX are the two best teams in the world together with Fnatic so its a shame that they are not in Masters, maybe this way the other regions have a chance and makes the tournament a bit more interesting

still a coinflip honestly, they havent yet played against real top teams, only farmed brazilian teams up until now so lets see if they can adapt quickly to it or it will take them some time

APAC teams looked bad really bad, good firepower but terrible discipline and decision making, also nothing new or creative in terms of utility, watching Bleed felt bad, pyth and maxie always playing pretty disciplined but the other 3 were making a lot of stupid mistakes but at least they were good individually

I watched their grandfinals match and they were actually impressive tbh, expected them to be much worse, also watched APAC matches to see how the EU imports do and I would say ZETA is better than both APAC teams

they already said which teams get a bye: guard, fpx, prx and latam vs brazil winner, thats the four teams that are already in the most likely double elim playoffs, the other 8 teams will play 2 groups of 4 teams double elim like masters3/champions and the top2 from each group which are 4 teams will meet the other 4 higher seeded teams in playoffs, kinda dogshit format imo but at least it makes the seeding matches not feel as pointless

Considering the duration of the tournament, there should be a group stage with 2 groups of 4 where top2 of each group go through to the next phase as you said and then playoffs as a double elim bracket, otherwise it doesnt make sense that the event takes 14 days

also as an EMEA fan, they are the ones I fear the most outside of NA teams, I would expect them to at least be better than DRX atm

from the little I watched them play, they have top firepower but they have 3 young player who havent played international LAN before so its a coinflip in that department, also they havent been together as a team for that long, I dont expect them to win but at least do good on Iceland, they are clearly the best in Brazil and its not close so I would take these events as experience, they could be a champions contender if they developed nicely but its gonna be hard against EMEA teams for them
