I mean, maybe since its riot who are all about marketing but cs is just the beatiful game, its a different breed on LAN compared to other esports, also best casters/many players with huge fanbase, imo valorant is mostly about casuals and I doubt most will stay in the game for long while CS has loyal fans who will get their kids into the game and thats without considering how undeveloped CS is outside Europe and Brazil atm, if Valve focuses in giving more slots and developing the scene in latam, china, apac and na the audiences would exponentially grow even more, also if they fix matchmaking, I feel there are many casual players who would like to play CS more but they dont want to play faceit because its very competitive and MM is full of cheaters, imo the potential for cs is the biggest in all of esports, it reminds me of football, its so simple and easy to understand but impossible to masters while valorant you need to play a lot because there is always new things and its hard to understand for new audiences, imo riot should stop releasing agents at 40 or something like that, the thing they do in league of keeping players in it by releasing new content that people look forward to every few months is not sustainable in the long run and makes the game impossible to get into

I would say cs will keep growing, very loyal audience and mostly adult audience who will get their kids into cs and make it kinda like football in that sense
