Kanpeki, Zellsis werent clout signings. shroud is the only move that they made where they prioritized clout over talent. they removed zombs too. they kept in tenz,shahz,sick and dapr all of whom used to be the best in the world at their roles at some point and has proved they are capable of competing with the best in the world.

tbh I dont see anyone replacing him other than FNS(they def have the money to buy him) or like dephh(bt xset wants to stay together) for the time being because there are no other proven IGLs. So unless they take a big risk and go for a young cracked IGL or something its likely they keep him. Which I personally dont mind as long as they change the coach and support structure and fill the roster with the best F/As.

Just because players have a big brand doesnt make them bad and vice versa. EMEA doesnt do that as often because EMEA players just dont get as popular as NA players often. Also yay is going to be playing in Americas region not just NA so against Brazilian and SA teams giving him experience with more variety of playstyles.

you do remember that they struggled for an entire year, made terrible decisions after terrible decisions and finally landed on something good. just give the same leeway to SEN.
I dont blame the management too much either. Those 5 players dominated regional competition for a year and a half and won an International LAN without any of the support or structure, maybe they trusted them enough to figure it out? At least LCQ proved to me that they were making some good decisions in terms of management. I trust in them to keep that up.
Who cares about orgs? I only care about players, also they are not a competitive team.
It's not about what they have or haven't achieved, it's about how the org runs the valorant team.

I agree that they didnt make proper changes soon enough but they did make them for LCQ. Just watch their new video with all the bts. They made a big mistake of waiting too long to make essential additions. They should have done these moves after Champs last year. Also you are too biased to see what the reason for their success is and why they deserve a spot more so than the teams I mentioned.

Its just Challengers thats online I think. How are Brazilian teams and NA teams going to play together online? And there is a direct promotion to the main league I dont think its going to be taken lightly.
I used to love Wardell but now he just seems like a salty crybaby to me. Does he expect some big name org to just magically come and pick him up like he's some hot shit? They made the right moves imo. Very ballsy and clouted but still the right moves. So many Optic fans are so mad at SEN thinking their fav org didn't make it cause of them. But the truth is everything Optic as an Org has contributed to Val is just the team. And the team can just be bought out.
Thats so hindsight. If they had picked up Zander and didn't win it no one would even care. But shroud literally caused a storm. His performance was really bad I agree. But who knows maybe that move had a really high impact on Riot to get them in the league. Because it got them back into the spotlight and made everyone realise how much hype and viewership they bring. Big clout move ofc but still very impactful in their case for partnership.
