Yup
lol
You might just be right. There's an abundant amount of 2-0s and not a lot of 2-1s. So perhaps DRG will win 2-0 instead of my original 2-1.
how do i delete this?

I just want to start by stating how I'm somewhat disappointed that there will be a lack of new matchups in this act of the tournament. If we ignore the invited teams and the already-established teams from last act (EDG, BLG, FPX, ASE, TYLOO), we will see that the only "new" teams that created intrigue were WBG, TE, and of course, RA. There were a total of 8 individual teams that played in the final stage of the first act. Which teams managed to bypass the play-ins and groups? EDG, FPX, TE, and RA. Which teams are getting qualified from play-ins? BLG, ASE, and two unknown teams. I just want to point out how if TYLOO wins this series against TBD (which they might very well do as so), the only new team we'll be seeing in playoffs will be one of: RNG, JDG, or NIP. Of course, I'm probably asking for too much, but I feel like watching these teams play the same opponents over and over is kind of... you know...
tldr: TYLOO might make playoffs by winning this 2-0.
Yeah they really shut down RNG on Split. I think any team that goes against BLG in the future should just focus on getting Split banned.
Well said!
Oops! I forgot that they're live right now lol. I can't watch live right now, but BLG looks good. They might even win 2-0 if this continues.
Some are still pretty high... GG.Bet is 8.5/1.0 right now...
Two teams with a competitive history have come to face each other in what looks to be a series with excellent potential to be an amazing game. While ASE have made a run like everyone expected, TYLOO on the other hand, is still somewhat under scrutiny after failing to show results against ASE and TE last event. However, it must be acknowledged that TYLOO has played quite decently against 4AM and KZ, and that they are not to be underestimated in any way. ASE still looks like a consistent top 5 Chinese team and I think they might very well prove it here by winning 2-0.
I must say, I really love the variety we've seen in this Chinese scene these past weeks. Each acts has its fresh teams and different players to watch, and I'm enjoying it like it's a plate of fish and chips. 4AM has been one heck of a team to watch. They've performed well above expectations, shown good team cohesion and synergy, and are just overall a well-put-together team. Regardless, DRG is not to be belittled, as they have excellent players such as vo0kashu and YuChEn. This will be an interesting clash of playing styles, as a very proactive 4AM faces a much more patient DRG. In conclusion, although these two teams are imo very similar in terms of strength, I think DRG might just be able to pull this series over the line 2-1.
Must've been exhausted after that EDG trouncing. Nice to see they brought it back somewhat on the 2nd map, although the loss was kind of forseeable.
I really, really appreciate your comment. Valorant is my favorite game and I love its Esport scenes. Interactions with people like you are, ultimately, what drives me to really embrace this hobby of mine. So, once again, thank you very much!
Absolutely.
Yeah, they probably just saw BLG 4-0 NRG and went "duh BLG goated team"
Wow, color me impressed, TYLOO actually did it! In spectacular fashion, they've shut down one of the hottest prospecting teams this tournament, and hopefully both of their runr continues the way they deserve.
Perhaps they just don't gel together well.
Gotchu bro, then I'll be counting on RNG to 2-1 win lol
Quite possibly so. They definitely have what it takes.
Facts.
I think NIP should be favorites for this series. Although they've just suffered a defeat against BLG, JDG didn't have the best time against RNG either, letting a 10-2 lead fall apart to lose the map. vici is great for JDG, but I don't know if his team can support him well enough to exploit their overall potential as a team. Therefore I am going to place my hopes on NIP and predict a 2-0 NIP victory.
This is looking like a banger matchup. If there's any doubt that BLG won't make it far, then this series is their chance to prove that they can still contend for the tournament title. RNG is looking great right now, and I think they stand a good chance against BLG. Yosemite was awe instilling last game against NIP but imo unless whzy steps up his game and perform like we all want him to, it'll be a tough match for BLG. I genuinely believe that this will be a close 2-1 series but I cannot put my word on either team. Sorry!
Good game from BLG. Yosemite being there just made them win. Biank also played well, but whzy was lacking in several parts of the series. Nice try NIP and I think they can challenge for qualifiers this group.
EDG has a good chance at winning Masters Madrid
I think it's going to be a close match.
No, I do not know why DRG didn't play Rarga in some of the previous games.
I thought it was a Bo3 too at first but when I looked again I thought it was a Bo1 lol. But yeah I agree DSYRE should 2-0 this.
I think it'll be close, but I'm not sure... ehehxd might take the series off DSYRE if they play like how they did against SAW. Bo1' results really aren't easy to predict. Still, I think DSYRE will win this 1-0.
I think TYLOO is in a slump at the moment. Just a few months ago they were regarded as one of the best Chinese teams, and although that statement might still have a sliver of truth, it is indubitably true that they are not performing as well as they are expected, and should be. 4AM on the other hand, is a slightly more underdog team imo, with not as much of a reputation as TYLOO. Nonetheless, they could stand a chance against a weakened TYLOO. I don't know how well TYLOO will play this time, but considering 4AM's recent form, I think it might very well become a 2-1 4AM win.
Tough group. Like Zerphyr1 commented above, it really could go either way. DRG is a consistent top 10 Chinese team, while ASE is somewhere in the consistent top 5's. However, DRG has shown some great performances this act and I think it's going to be a 2-1 win for one of the teams. I think I'm going to go with the favorites and predict a 2-1 ASE victory.
RNG 2-0 is probably the most likely result this time around. JDG didn't have the cleanest win against NWG and I think that says plenty when they're against a team who's just swept TYLOO (13-1, 13-5). I've really come to enjoy watching RNG and I think they have what it takes to challenge for playoffs. 2-0 RNG win.
I'm seeing a BLG 2-1 happen. Yes, BLG has somewhat picked themselves up in comparison to last Act's form, but NIP has yet to drop a map this tourney, and I think they could probably give BLG a run for their money. Regardless, form is temporary, class is permanent, I think BLG wins 2-1.
BLG ought to win 2-1 at least, if they want to gain back the respect they once had. I'm not going to get into the logistics today, but I think BLG has to win this match if they want to stay a reputable top Chinese team.
I think 4AM has a couple Chinese players.
DRX should win this series somewhat comfortably. iZu and k1Ng are great for T1 bot I'm still not sure how well they actually gel with the rest of the team. However, I won't rule out the possibility of a T1 win. Nonetheless, I will still go forwards with a DRX 1-0 win prediction despite the fact that they might play academy players.
Close match, but I think TYLOO might struggle a bit here. RNG players looked amazing in their match against KBG and they might very well just plow through them. 2-1 RNG SWERL MVP
Both teams have a good chance to take the win in my opinion. NIP is doing well, but DRG catches my attention. They've been looking pretty good as of recent and I think there's a chance that they can come out on top this time. They have excellent players such as vo0kashu and I can't wait to see him perform well against NIP. This is going to be an exciting series. I'm going to predict a DRG 2-0 victory, with possible OT in one of the maps, but only time can tell the victor and loser.
Although BLG has been expressing all sorts of symptoms screaming "bad form", I have hope that they will beat All Gamers in a 2-0 victory. There is a saying that "form is temporary class is permanent," and I am confident that this situation we've been seeing with BLG could correspond to aforementioned saying. If they lose this match however, I think I'm going to have to rethink my thoughts and estimations when it comes to this team. I really expected them to be the team that could rival EDG even if eternally behind, but this is not what I was expecting. 2-0 BLG let's have our fingers crossed.
Yeah I'm not in a situation where I can watch the matches right now :(
2-0 DRG? BiliBili stilll looks wonky and I don't know if I can tip this series off to them anymore...
First two maps were close. I'm pretty satisfied with my original prediction, despite the fact that it turned out to be wrong. Can't wait to see what TES can achieve in this Act. 2!
Yeah that was what I was thinking at first but then I looked a bit into INV and changed my mind.
While ASE should be winning this game 2-0, I believe that there is a very good chance that NWG takes a map off ASE. Life, hfmi, and YHchen have looked imperious as of recently, and I doubt even someone on the caliber of XII can stop them. Anyways, 2-0 victory for ASE.
I'm not confident that I can predict this correctly, but looking back on the previous games, I think this will be a very close 2-1 victory for 4AM.
ASE should be winning this 2-0. They were on good form in the 1st Act, and I think it's going to continue here. ANDY was good for Funcrew tho, so who knows. Anyways, ASE win 2-0 is my prediction.
Although TYLOO was looking shaky and unprepared last Act of the event, I hope that they've learnt where their mistakes are and have moved on from them. JDG on the other hand, has a chance of beating TYLOO, but I think it's more likely for it to be a 2-0 TYLOO victory.
They're just better. I think the previous loss against WBG in Act.1 was unwarranted and undeserved.
You flatter me haha
Bilibili should win this one. Their last match was a 13-9, which makes me want to believe that they still aren't fully awake. Regardless, hopefully with Yosemite back in the team they will be able to make magic happen against DRG (who I do acknowledge is a good team.) 2-0 BLG but I think the maps might be close.
NIP annihilated 17Gaming in their previous match, and their ability to snowball momentum is in my opinion, very good. Perhaps they will get the win over All Gamers. 2-0 NIP win.
