first time i heard of sen trying for lcs spot, i dont think that rumor is true
ngl i see nrg more likely dropping their roster for optic than eg dropping theirs
would be crazy if he gets pick up over players who had been grinding tournys this year
i think nats also went to turkey before paris, it was in his ig story.
what does he mean by automatically lose the right to change yourself for the better, i mean everyone has all the rights to that. actions have consequences, face the consequences then do better. it’s not mutually exclusive.
lmao boom really went to champs the first time and made history
this industry thrives with attention, negative pr will NOT get you sponsors and good stuff. public perception is important and your source of money basically, it’s just what happens in this kind of business where all eyes are on you, you wont want to ruin your brand. that is why the pr staff even stepped in to remedy the situation but unfortunately carlos the face of g2 just couldnt get off twitter for a second. he could have at least pretended to appease the mob but i guess ego first before business.
still, carlos contributed a lot to the space and i do think this is undeserved.
i honestly think it’s the double down and not really the partying, but it is all dumb decisions. he dont seem to be a bad person. carlos brought that spice and entertainment and i dont know if this decision even benefits anyone, not like theyre getting their franchise spot back, just losing an entertaining personality.
what carlos did wasnt even remotely close to that bully
if him stepping down would get g2 their slot that would be cool, but this idk.
if you watch their games in lcq he has a lot of impact and is winning them rounds like crazy. stats arent all that.
i think theyll only pick up an igl. i wish finally an igl. i hope at least an igl. lmao
wouldnt really make sense for them to drop the 2 (3 including the coach), unless theyre picking up a whole roster. feels like initial plan is to build around the 2 but since fpx is free and ange1 at the helm, that seems to be a better choice.
hope cloud and ssk gets picked up. i really wonder how many slots are floating in emea considering there may be teams not fielding an international roster.
omg i do hope theyll get fpx, ange1 fits navi so much, i think this is possible since ange1 built the team and idk how the 2 would fit in that. wish they can be kept as 6th/7th, cloud and ssk are good.
overhyped = clout
what happened with owl
agree to an extent about g2. ultimately its a business decision and what carlos did was a pr nightmare and brand risk, and also super recent. its not that theyre policing his twitter, it’s because it became a big issue since the public even g2 fans called him out on it, and became an even bigger issue because he doubled down. he’s a public figure and the face of g2, public perception is important. tho yea i would have preferred that only carlos gets punished and not the whole org.
them removing sinatraa from pro play when allegations came out was the right move imo. they needed time to investigate so.
wow it’s as if envy yay didnt exist. anyway as the meta shifts everyone would be learning and adapting to stuff so its
possible for anyone to fall off.
nice of them if theyre really trying to rebuild
im more interested where the FA coaches will head than the players. support staff is so underrated by people here lol.
tbf he’s been playing sentinels other than cypher and some initiators as well, that is in ranked. idk but if im a franchised team id look for talent in recent mickey mouse tournys/vct than the ranked leaderboards.
one’s a pr nightmare, the other is just straight up evil. either way their impact on their respective orgs is massive.
i dont see any problem with that…..if theyre actually producing good results lol
tbh id prefer nivera to stay but he was indeed underperforming. he did have a few good games, so i dont know maybe its just time he needs after picking up a newer role as initiator. he was so good at chamber, then cypher kj went kinda out of meta and jamppi became perma chamber so he really had to adjust a lot. his viper kinda shaky at times too.
i think there was an article about it how it was a soft roster lock
tldr: they can still make changes until feb 1
this is it for yay jk. sayf or zyppan?
ange1 fits nicely and seems to be an igl that builds a team from scratch but idk how it would work in a team with existing members
actually, enzo is also igl right, nivera can be their oper. yeah but highly doubt since feels like theyre the face of liquid rn, who knows tho
not the same season they make it out of ascension.
respect to the org still
money, clout, org reputation
another faq. if optic won champs would they get into franchising?
uhm NO.
in hindsight, i also think sen will benefit the most getting chet but who knows about the chemistry lmao
are NA orgs really blindsided about the franchising stuff when there’s a literal franchise in another riot game, through lcs? orgs fielded these teams in the first place to hopefully get into franchising, i always thought that was their goal so they entered the scene.
i also think so. even if they do it’s a maximum of 1.
big upgrade to whichever team, sadge to see the team separate like this.
sadge for crazy raccoons, optic, fpx. may the players find teams thatll suit them best and teams be fielding more diverse rosters. rito release ascension details so some orgs will be encouraged to stay wtf.
