The people themselves aren't the problem, I don't think. They're all great players and have proven they can win before. Something needs to happen internally is what I'm thinking, because on paper they should be getting results

RieNs has played Yoru multiple times this year. Idk why you're more shocked by that than Boo on Iso

Edit: nvm I just checked the stream, why are all the player names mixed up on VLR

posted 9 months ago

How do you know it's not great for those who live there, if you don't live there?

posted 9 months ago

I can see them doing the Yoru Deadlock comp with Cryo on Deadlock

I'll watch later but I want y'all's opinion... was his util any good? Or did he just throw the most standard walls and shoot their heads

Meanwhile, the World Cup itself is a BO1 (with single elimination playoffs, mind you) and no one seems to mind

VKS lasted one year... even without VKS LOUD is better than SEN

posted 9 months ago

You're telling me that the production quality of an tournament dictates whether or not its results matter, regardless of what those results are?

posted 9 months ago

LOUD (or VKS before them) qualified for every single international event up until Masters Madrid. They missed out on Shanghai and then the team management decided to jump off a cliff. That's 10 straight international tournaments, mind you. Regardless of what you think of the difficulty of qualification now vs. then, the post clearly states "achievements over the [past] 5 years," in which LOUD have inarguably attained more

posted 9 months ago

That's not abnormal. Many sporting and esporting events have matches at the same time, it's just not something we're used to in the VALORANT scene

FNATIC was 4th at Champions Los Angeles

posted 9 months ago

loud isnt like every year they have 2 top 4 finishes

Neither do SEN. See 2022 and 2023

Sato, luxko, Urango, and gobera are tier 1
rich is ex-tier 1, currently tier 2
rood and Evilkyk have played in Ascension
skz and swag are on an academy team
DRAKONZ is in tier 2

Where is the tier 3 throwing?

(I know this is two years ago but still, point is that it's not like they're bad players by any means)

posted 9 months ago

No China stats in 2025, opinion disregraded

posted 9 months ago

I didn't even see that ngl I just chose a random tier 2 team I like

You win this time, camera man

4th at Masters Madrid

Yeah, the prize pools are increasing dramatically year over year. Depending on who wins Champs this year, C0M probably isn't #1 anymore

posted 9 months ago

Shouldn't be that surprising, tbh. Biggest two events so far when it comes to prize pool are Champs '24 and '23... he won one, got 3rd in the other, and also was 2nd in a Masters on top of it

Bermuda? I'd be surprised if you can point to Bermuda on a map lmao

I can see ghoul33 being a SpYzera type player (flash initiator + secondary duelist e.g. Iso on some maps)

posted 9 months ago

Ok be fr, if you're posting made up "(team) (player) who says no" threads then is the objective to post or to get replies?
