He can play both really well, but from an outside perspective I feel like his playstyle is more suited toward more passive sentinel-type roles (I could be wrong, though)

• Put f0rsakeN on duelist, d4v41 on initiator, mindfreak on sentinel
• Sign a controller and a flex player, one of which is an igl

They're a measure of activity. As a baseline, you get 4 stars with 250 posts. All you really get out of the stars is faster post times—users with 4 stars can post every 30 seconds.
