In 2025 they were THE potential team, THE what-could-have-been team. You can't take one match out of context and say they were suck the whole year... that's like if I take that one Abyss map against Vitality and say they were a top 5 team of the year

2024 was alright for them, you CANNOT say did poorly but the lack of midrounding was apparent and the team kinda ran out of gas toward the end

I don't personally know much about mixing, but I can give you a couple tips.

• Cymatics have a free library containing a bunch of free sample packs and basic plug-ins. Has been my go-to for samples for years now (things like one shots, loops, drums, risers, MIDI, etc.), since a lot of them are free. Link is here: https://cymatics.fm/pages/thank-free-samples-presets

They do have two slots but there are definitely more than 2 of these Ascension teams that look ready for tier 1

Seems more valuable long term. I'd rather a long-lived quite close relationship than a short-lived too close relationship (which is how these high school bf/gf things usually go)

Also just seems more comfortable tbh, both parties are more comfortable with each other in some sense, you can be yourself more without having to worry about implications... etc. etc.

I think this is the first Ascension tournament where it feels like several of these teams deserve to ascend. You could make a case for any of TWS, ULF, DSY, or BCF to be in tier 1. Today's matches honestly felt more competitive and higher level than a lot of VCT EMEA games last season (this last part might just be recency bias, but you get what I'm trying to say)
