Idk who's doing the scouting on Karmine Corp (probably ENGH, I'd think) but they're playing their cards so smart with the people they're trying to pick up. Don't go for the big names everyone is bidding for... go for the undiscovered gems, be the first to reach out to them, and build a young roster with a lot to prove. That's such a good way to build a roster, both for an org (because it costs less) and for the players (they get experience on the highest level and exposure to other orgs to make new deals in future years).

1. (XLG, Ascent) This game had some really good use cases for Vyse, and I thought they played their comp well... they just sorta got diffed, with the enemy duelists dropping a combined KD of 42/13
2. (Also XLG, Ascent) I didn't watch this game but it was 12-14 against the overall favourites to win Ascension so it's not like Vyse is the clear problem here

Sample size of 2, both from the same team on the same map, and both showing a ton of merit. Not fair to judge an agent off the first two games, don't you think?

Also do keep in mind the coach that came up with this Killjoy Vyse comp is the same one that innovated the Cypher Deadlock comp and several more before that, so it's not as if he doesn't know what he's doing by picking Vyse.

And even though you want to ignore GC, refrag absolutely destroyed FlyQuest RED on Lotus with their Vyse Deadlock comp, had some really cool plays with Vyse, and went 5-2 on attack as well.
