The difference in player quality is obviously gonna be higher in tier 1, but it's a lot closer in tier 2 than you might expect. The real difference is the team coordination—the top teams in Ascension around the world would place roughly middle of the pack in tier 1 in that regard.

Americas' most notable drops are Saadhak, TenZ, Sacy, half the NRG roster, and Mazino. That sounds pretty crazy (and it is) but the reality is the vast majority of player replacements are just gonna be T1 and high T2 free agents, with the only import being leaked or even speculated being Derke. In comparison, EMEA is an absolute madhouse, and even Pacific has crazier things going on
