The devs did say they were working on extensive buffs for him, so I'm just hoping they'll make him good enough to be able to fill that kind of role
Just wait until the Harbor buffs !!
Also I don't think we're gonna see very much Cypher Bind anymore
No bro I've been to Montréal and the people there are actually so respectful, it's crazy
That wasn't an insult to NB, that was a compliment to Montréal
Montréalers are actually more chill than herringchokers for whatever reason
I have no idea, honestly. But I have heard people saying Jinggg tried to play Killjoy and couldn't
100%. I'm just using meta comps as an analogy to show how the roles would work (if I did offer comps, this thread would become more a critique of my comps than of the roles, and I don't want that)
I think I have once, but I don't remember it at all
This is true. All she had to work with were the remains after all the other teams picked up their rosters, and she still brought them to the same record as NRG and LOUD to end the season
I understand you don't like Jinggg, and you have my condolences, but why are you going through the thread and downvoting all my comments just because I don't hate him like you do
There's the more casual baggy sweatpants
They had bulb as AC for the last 3 months of the 2024 season, and I quite liked what he was doing with alecks (even if it didn't show in the results). I hope they can find a more long-term solution, though, because I don't know how long alecks can navigate the squad on his own
As for the roster, I don't think they should change it unless they have no other choice. They have a massive fanbase around these five players, and despite how they perform in the eyes of those on VLR, the casual VCT community will still root for them and watch all their games because of how entertaining they have been and can be. So from both a PR and monetary standpoint, I don't think it's the right call to make changes. Especially when there are no flaws in the current lineup other than a little bit of role clash, which can easily be solved over an offseason with a player changing roles (e.g. tuyz is playing sentinel in comp, SUYGETSU is learning controller, something is frying on Fade and Sova in ranked right now).
Igling is the one thing I'm uncertain about. PRX isn't a team that does much igling historically, because that's just not how the team has ever functioned. Jinggg and something shared most of the midrounding, though, so I'm tempted to say one of them should igl. Leaning more toward Jinggg because a) something is learning an entirely new role and he should probably focus on that and b) I feel the community won't be full ready to accept Jinggg again unless he starts adding another level of value to the team, which igling can definitely do
Why would a coach of potter's caliber ever settle for being an assistant, regardless of the team?
30 replies to this thread and 4 of them are hate (3 of them are Jinggg hate), damn
Y'all gotta chill. It's not like Jinggg's agent pool is the make or break for PRX. The way they were playing in the latter half of the year, even if their comps were immaculate they still wouldn't've done anything because of their apparent lack of team synergy in stage 2
Remind me what the drone incident is?
Sure thing, just lmk whenever 👍
Note that I do be busy busy so I can probably only play Friday + weekends
They did have bulb as their assistant coach in the last third of 2024 but now that he's gone they should really look to get a long term AC. Maybe just listen to the people and sign Benkai
Costco's always your best bet for low-cost high-quality sweatpants, though depending on your standards you can get pretty good sweatpants for like $10 at most of those cheap places
I was thinking that at first but then I realized how hard f0rsakeN frags when you put this guy on duelist. I get that because he can play everything you kinda want him to play everything, but he's so good on duelist that it leads me to believe he'd be easily the best player on PRX if he's the team's entry fragger
In that case, I'd have Jinggg play any other duelist on KJ maps. Cypher or Vyse would be great, but his Sage is good, and he can probably pick up Deadlock pretty easily. Hell, even Chamber could work, why not?
I'm in the eastern half of Canada, yeah. My ID is cloudberry#ikea if you wanna add me
Contract expired, I'm almost certain she's simply resigning
I'm gonna be honest, I completely forgot that 😂
Sounds good, honestly. I can also see them running Fade Breach
I remember him reading smth a few days back about him looking to switch roles, and he's playing a ton of Sova and Fade in ranked
No idea what the Split meta's gonna be, but on Sunset they can run Jinggg Neon and f0rsakeN Cypher pretty easily and on Abyss they'd probably run something bizarre as hell
CS has HLTV, but most sites tend to use either their Reddit or their Fandom
I'd have their roles next year look something like this:
Jinggg - Raze/Neon/Phoenix + sentinel
f0rsakeN - Jett/Yoru + sentinel (on no sentinel maps like Bind he can fill the gaps in the comp)
something - recon (plus Gekko on maps where he's played)
d4v41 - flex (mainly flash initiator + Viper, but he can play sentinel on maps where they play double duelist)
mindfreak - controller
For example (assuming the meta doesn't change):
Acting like 1v4s don't happen all the time in tier 1
Given my circumstances, if I was at all bored I'd be doing something very wrong
Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like adding subtitles is an easier solution than changing the way you speak altogether
Yup. He's a horse farmer and a professional painter, and he does this on the side
