since they're the undisputed best team in the world right now after beating PRX for the 2nd place spot + EG dissolving, ive also come to realize that they now have a chance to out rank OPTIC in terms of GOAT status if they beat DRX decisively. OPTIC the undisputed GOAT roster always went dicks out blow for blow with this DRX core, but if SEN 2-0 then SEN > OPTIC > DRX which would put them at the GOAT team.

there's no right answer to this because for some teams, roles = cohesion. A team like FNC relies on their specific roles and strives because of it, meanwhile EG didn't fk with that and did their own thing which also worked for them. I do believe after seeing EG's success that we're gonna see changes on how the majority of teams view roles in the future, but for now though a lot of teams still rely on roles for cohesion, and its not like they're being "restricted" or whatever, its just what works the best for them.

the only thing changing is TenZ and Zellsis' in terms of roles in matches, meanwhile with PRX, 4/6 of their roster played two+ distinct champ roles in this series with d4v41 playing three (Viper is technically half sentinel though). Half of PRX's roster also played a new agent for every map, then there's also something picking Gekko.

except that TenZ on Omen is their actual Haven comp, look at their previous Haven matches with this roster. I don't know why its like that when they literally have Pancada or Zellsis who can also play Omen but its like that I guess lol. Feels like some sorta flex-comfort situation depending on the map that EG happened to strive with this year.

Shawn23 even though I cheered for SEN, i always keep it real and its very obvious that PRX wasn't playing like it was a final. Everything from the map pool, alternating roster, champ picks & flexes, etc screams that they wouldn't be doing this shit if they werent limit testing. I feel like theyre also just cocky enough to assume they're gonna win the lower bracket no matter what which is why I want these frauds gone.
