yes exactly, MIBR was 3rd in kickoff and stage 1, meaning that they got more points than the rest of the teams below them in both of those stages

posted 3 months ago

Because MIBR was top 3 in kickoff and made it to Toronto

posted 3 months ago

Prime less is crazy good but I feel like the roster wouldnt work

posted 3 months ago

Leaf would be the example of the superstar where it would be worth lol

posted 3 months ago

Eh hes a very solid midrounder/anchor and it seems from the outside like hes super important to the teams mental and chem. I feel like it would only be worth replacing him if you found an absolute superstar to take his spot, cause just getting someone with a bit better aim doesnt feel worth

posted 3 months ago

Ik but even still I feel like G2 should've washed EG they looked clueless

posted 3 months ago

How did EG beat G2 on this map they look awful

posted 3 months ago

C9 is decent, and the Omega group is interesting cause every team is at about the same level

posted 3 months ago

I know nothing about how good any team is. The entire Omega group makes no sense

posted 3 months ago

10-2 half tragic

posted 3 months ago

Honestly dont mind the breach on sunset, but im glad they switched it on haven

posted 3 months ago

Yeah maybe its just a rough idea. Dont think that having to be top 2 in your t2 league and then win an international just to make it is an easier road then just needing to be 4th in t1 but I see what ur saying. The thing I like about what I suggested is that it gives more casual fans an actual reason to watch t2 games, and gives them actual meaning, cause right now the scene is completely irrelevant.

posted 3 months ago

Non-tier 1 teams should be able to make international events. At the end of each stage of t2 play, have the winners, or top 2, of each challengers reigon face off in a tournament, and the winner of that makes the international event.

For example, say ENVY and Cubert (ignore academy restrictions) are the top 2 NA challengers teams. They then go to a separate tournament to face the top 2 from the LATAM and BR reigons, and the winner of that tournament gets a spot in masters/champs for the Americas region. Do the same for all 4 reigons, and you get a more compelling t2 scene, as well as the ability for new teams to make international tournaments and have relevant sucess.

posted 3 months ago

Yeah 100T look very good rn, just have to see them beat a strong team before I fully believe

posted 3 months ago

Its crazy how its just

NA
--gap--
LATAM
BR

posted 3 months ago

Eh, G2 with leaf always has a shot, SEN is good enough if they play to their ceiling, which I'm hoping the role swap will help with but they haven't been able to consistently perform this year yet, and just maybe 100T is real, but it's hard to tell.

The region definitely looks at its worst right now, though, with all of the LATAM/BR teams looking awful, G2 on a sub, C9 NRG and EG all looking mid, and big question marks for SEN and 100T, but there is still potential.

posted 3 months ago

This is just not a good look. None of the teams look good, and they only have wins against each other. NA just looks so much better rn and a lot of the BR/LATAM teams look hopeless

posted 3 months ago

He technically top fragged against FNC on icebox by vlr rating lol

posted 3 months ago

Would u rather FNC have to beat PRX twice? Cause this is how things work in a double elim tournament

posted 4 months ago

They play the loser of Wolves vs GENG

posted 5 months ago

Idk but it would be super funny if it does happen

posted 5 months ago

This is an awful idea. Like genuinely this is terrible

posted 5 months ago

that was so bad just tuck

posted 5 months ago

This only happend when FNC played smh bringing the EMEA tech pauses to us

posted 5 months ago

Wolves diff geng tbh they have no response for lysoar standing up

posted 5 months ago

Crashies is playing better than most of them, not the issue

posted 5 months ago

If they lose to XLG im gonna be so toxic

posted 5 months ago

Ill lyk after it happens, my guess is that boaster and crashies were too busy kissing to prepare for Toronto

posted 5 months ago

G2 was too busy making their new song to try and come up with anything

posted 5 months ago

XLG had a sub and just got diffed, G2 didnt prepare anything interesting, and RRQ clearly wanted to lose that match for whatever reason

posted 5 months ago

Ur telling me they have someone who translates every single comm for rarga

posted 5 months ago

The zellsis effect.

I guess as an RRQ fan this might be your first international, but this happens every single game

posted 5 months ago

Yeah idk if they have a diff venue for top 6 or whatever but this is kinda mid

posted 5 months ago

Who has the best read on the meta? So far it feels like certain teams have really struggled, but no one seems to be doing anything revolutionary in terms of comps/strategy.

posted 5 months ago

Spring is a good shout forgot about him. Id put bang over valyn in terms of individual play, and if you count forsaken as a smoke player than that's fair

posted 5 months ago

He's a great player, and has been really solid this year. I'd personally have Karon #1 and him #2 at Toronto but I'm gonna give him his flowers

posted 5 months ago

At least at toronto it's karon, bang, valyn in whatever order you want

posted 5 months ago

Trent is good regardless of tejo, the concern is that G2 as a team needs the tejo in order to excel at the level that they were

posted 5 months ago

yeah this is pretty much it. There'sa balance, though, because the playoff teams get to see other team's reads on the meta without showing theirs, but it does make it really weird having a completely new meta for the tournament. The winner of this will be the team that is best at adapting

posted 5 months ago

All first seeds losing would be funny

posted 5 months ago

When ur right, ur right

posted 5 months ago

:)

posted 5 months ago

Yeah idk maybe he thought something tp'd

posted 5 months ago

SEN's probably favored but only like 60-40 so could definitely happen

posted 5 months ago

At least he's being creative. 95% of pickems have G2, FNC, or GENG in the finals

posted 5 months ago

Give me wolves PRX in the final for most chaos

posted 5 months ago

Which of the first seeds is most likely to have a massive falloff with the new meta changes?

Both MIBR and TH were awful in the new meta (which is weird since they were a couple of the teams that were supposed to be less affected by the change), and I wouldn't be shocked if some of the teams that were at the top in the old meta struggle with a new playstyle.

posted 5 months ago

Its not rigged EMEA just has shit production. For the visas, that's Nats/Liquids fault for not getting it sorted earlier. And the picks are shown to be random so calling rigged is stupid

posted 5 months ago

The XLG coach legit said he picked it just for the clout and viewership lol

posted 5 months ago

Depends on what ur criteria is. By average placement, its AMER>APAC>>>EMEA>CN before toronto
