I see your point, but you've completely ignored the possibility of 2 teams reaching 12 at the same time. In your fantasyland, you have created a system where the core foundations of the game dissolve entirely when two teams reach a 12-12 scoreline. You have provided no solution for this conundrum and have doomed the game of Valorant to relegation as a joke of an esport, one which doesn't account for the rather commonplace occurrence of a necessity for an overtime rule set.

This entire tournament is a brand new meta on a new patch that completely changes the way that teams are playing the game. Valorant is a game where meta is incredibly important in deciding the strength of a team, and shifting away from the tejo/breach meta forces teams to come up with new and untested meta calls, and to play the entire game in a different way than before.
This is likely why some of these teams look out of sorts right now, as they have had to shift their entire playstyle and adapt to the meta in a matter of a few weeks. Obviously, this doesn't completely excuse a terrible showing like the 13-1's that we've had the past couple of days, but it is still a huge factor imo.
On old meta, TH and MIBR win handily. Have to see DRX and T1 on new patch before you can say who wins
Talon lost to DRX, not one of the top3 pacific, to be eliminated in playoffs, and then bombed out immediately in ewc qualifying. MIBR look ass tbf but talon has their own issues.
Credit to wolves for sure, their attack side did a really good job of shutting down zekken and they were shooting super well. SEN just woke up second half and had a super strong attack comp

True, and SEN did not play super well, but they took their map pick on a game where they were shooting incredibly and were 8-4 at half

Nah wolves just had a great read for their attack side and played super well. SEN just has a super strong attack comp and have actually been shooting back

I completely agree. I love sacy, but his stats were definitely hurt by the super supportive role he played on the team, which he played well. And yeah if SEN had a flex igl instead of dephh in 2023 they would've been so much better

tbf sacy was the player with the worst stats on the team, but most of the fans still liked/respected him as a player, even if they criticised his performance. Also, I don't think the narrative that he was scapegoated as the "not NA" player has any merit, SEN is a clout team, and if anyone on the team underperforms, they get shit on, like TenZ in 2023 got it much worse than sacy did
Maybe, but he has still been very good. He is definitely helped out in my rankings cause of historical success, but even current form he'd still be top 10
Fair, this one was hard to rank cause so many people are in solid form rn. I have him top 3 init itw and 2/3 at Toronto depending if u count forsaken as one. He's lower cause of current form, but I think he's a beast fr and could def have a top 5 performance

I can see that, but I think he's looked very strong recently, and is consistently able to put together really solid performances and clutches. He got boosted up a bit in my list for being such a strong clutch/anchor player, which I value
True, but FNS isn't here so who knows what'll happen. I don't think Whzy will suck at masters, that's why he's in the top 20, but so much of CN feels unproven to me, since no team has had a strong showing at an international besides EDG. Both him and Rarga have been insane this split, but I just need to see them perform outside of their region before I move them up
Based on a mix of everything. Current form, historical form, international experience, role within their team (igl, clutch, anchor, etc.), and just what my heart feels.
Honestly, you could switch around the top 5 any way you want, and I would not be upset
1 Zekken (Ik ill get "flair bias" for this one, and that's fair. For me, he gets the edge on Aspas for current form and on Jemkin/kaajak for LAN experience, but could be as low as 6 in a list that's primarily focused on current form.)
2 Jemkin (Can't personally justify putting him or kaajak as #1 without any international showings, but both of them could be #1 in someone else's list and it would be valid)

Are there any exciting prospects in NA T2 right now? The only people I knew of have been taken already (Skuba, okeanos, sato), and people like Canezerra are too young
I mean its an interesting list for sure, and idk if I'd have zekken at #1, but he's that level of player that can definitely be considered for that spot. Hating on this guy for having his own take is wild

The stinger def needs a nerf, i still like the bulldog cause its good at range and okay close, but I legit haven't used the specter in ages cause the stinger is so good
