hltv users really just perfectly fine with extreme racism and sexism but fall to their knees at the mere sight of upvotes and stars
sad, but makes sense considering ex-NG have been shafted for the past half-year
that was pretty fast
who eats pancakes with lemon wedges what the hell
right click video > copy url at current time
url argument is ?t=n where n represents the seconds passed
i was playing valorant mobile while watching cars 2 in theaters
lil documentary by forze about the cis valorant scene
pretty cool stuff actually
this reminds me of something so i might as well put it here
during the first NA masters i talked to zombs in a post-match interview and there was this one quote that was set to be put into but didn't published in tamagao's faze feature (because they FORGOT)
Rawkus recently touted that FaZe have been able to counter the CS mindset. Considering your roster is primarily former CS players, what are your thoughts on this?
zombs: "Nah, I don't think my team even has a CS mentality, I don't even know, but I think that's just something they made up to sound smart or something, I don't know"
but yeah sentinels swept them 3-0 the next day so
Unlikely. it's more about representation than "higher quality of play", which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Regions aren't "inherently bad" in their skill or the players they produce; I'm sure we'll see some upsets in Berlin from regions that didn't perform as well in Iceland.
easy to get a good pickem when you do multiple on all your alts :)
sheesh this complexity roster is actually looking pretty phat
sure, but the API returns a very limited set of data and the addition of agents and more concrete roles make ratings a bit moot
Version1 are a good team with a strong core, simple as that. The team has a well-rounded roster of fraggers (wippie, penny, Zellsis) with Zellsis and vanity both having extensive experience in leadership positions in teams. The players were desperate to get an org in CS:GO or Valorant and they got what they wanted and their drive to improve paid off.
they lost against sentinel 2 times
yeah, that's pretty much any team...
sheesh mandeep on the stream
yeah good idea
i've set up some channels in the VLR.gg discord

will probably make a formal announcement and stuff later

Round-Robin is a garbage format that decides winners through arbitrary nitpick-y tiebreakers if a group is too competitive. Because of disparities between skill levels in teams as well, it's possible that a team could be so far ahead to already qualify but still be required to play matches, resulting in garbage time that extends through an entire series. There are too many matches, there's no way to create a storyline in a round-robin, and it's an unfun boring format.

Also, the EPL playoffs bracket format is atroooocious.
I don't think Riot will ever do the 3Qual-8DE thing because it's a super weird bracket that was designed specifically to reduce the playoffs to six teams. It's not a terrible format, at least it's not the current ESL Pro League format. (puke)

There are no BYEs, unless you think of this like a 16DE bracket; Team Liquid and Sentinels got higher seeds from winning their Challengers Finals.
Here's the draw in the rulebook: https://i.imgur.com/iOpQ1mI.png
There is a possibility they could the winners of the EMEA and NA challengers finals into the round-of-8 kinda like how LoL WC has a Play-In Stage, but the fact there are two BR teams muddies those waters.
Bracket would still be shit, I would prefer any other format... for the most part.
Yes, if you consider Valorant Masters to be a "supermajor." It'll be the first international Valorant event on a worldwide professional scale.
Update: A report by George Geddes of Upcomer cites Chet "Chet" Singh as the incoming coach for TSM.
