When ESL start cracking down but you still wanna play Cypher
Steel is what a lot of top NA teams, besides maybe TSM and Sentinels, need — especially T1. Honestly thought he'd be going to T1, but i doubt he'd want to play with AZK and brax ever again.
matches have two teams each, so up to two cyphers per map
in case you're wondering, this is the split match where one team doesn't play cypher (gen.g): https://www.vlr.gg/2056?game=3011&tab=overview
Sentinels do get a minor advantage from the upper bracket, but it's not really much.
The advantage here is that the winners bracket team (Sentinels) will get to choose during the veto if they want to be Team A or Team B.
The assumption is that they will choose Team B, which will allow them to pick Map 2, which is also Map 5 in this bo5. So the advantage is that if the match goes the distance, they can guarantee that the deciding match is their pick.
this is the second ignition series grand final that bonk have reached
they seriously deserve a good org
eu orgs more looking to poach individual players and try to build superteams unfortunately
what were you saying
nwnw :P
this is the opening match
liquid lost the decider rematch
https://www.vlr.gg/2117/team-liquid-vs-skade-lvl-valorant-clash-2-group-stage-decider-b
because liquid won
economy stats for BBL are interesting
it looks like they essentially force bought every single round in the first half and never did a full save, except for the second round
It'll be a post-match game log. We have no way to tracking stats for live matches at the moment.
turns out Tenz and mitch will drop 80 and win 2-0
Valorant does not have a replay system, and spectator slots are limited to two per match.
So unfortunately, individual player perspectives are only available if they're streaming.
he says after immortals take bind 13-3
comments that precede unfortunate match results
making maps is difficult so riot's publicly stated plan is to release six agents a year to keep new content rolling in while they work on existing maps and new maps
sike killjoy allowed
Every player on Falkol above 100 ADR and one player at 214 ADR o_o
While true that I doubt Skadoodle would be able to improve rapidly to the point of return by the turn of the next major event, hes still a very valuable player.
There's no reason T1 would just release him unless another organization buys him out.
no way one map should've gone to ot and no way fpx should've lost one map
wack
obvs
mostly excited to see how aussie and japanese teams stack up, considering both scenes are pretty insular at the moment and are as exciting as the NA/EU scenes
hey ive seen this one before
the event broadcast was being done in-person from fortress melbourne's studio
valve has cracked down on orgs owning more than one team for the major circuit, which is why you don't see academy teams like Fnatic Academy and North Academy anymore
LoL doesn't have this issue due to the insular nature of franchised leagues, so it remains to be seen what Rito are going to do for Valorant
Honestly curious where ANDROID is going to go; he was a great player and would be a great pickup for almost any NA team
From Liquipedia:
Attack All Around did not turn up in time.
However, an estimated average rounds will be given to AAA through this formula:Sum of all Grp.stage Victory round diff / total number of Grp.stage matches
then rounded up to conclude the avg. rounds
After the final Grp.A match, This match results will turn into a regular 13-X win
if you're asking why, idk maaaaan
edit: nvm they're playing a tiebreaker now because apparently the teams tied under this formula anyways uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
link?
Probably a lack of proper game-state integration and/or fancy production stuff to make it work. Quite a lot of the ignition series broadcasts are pretty ragtag considering the small budgets they have to work with.
when riot improves the spectating experience and possibly adds game-state integration, we should see it prop up more, especially as the larger organizers start to run events
Are you talking about on game broadcasts or on the site?
seems like prius and sapphire were streaming just the group stage
this series deserves to be more than a bo1
we're like 105% sure dignitas have already signed them
This is an Ignition Series event, which is a Riot series, so the event is sponsored by Riot. Riot also has some slight input on the event, and mandates the start and end dates.
I mean, it is their first event together...
They were essentially pulled from their teams and merged by FPX to create this superteam. I think they'll do really well in the next IS event now that they've got some experience down.
Due to scheduling restrictions imposed by Riot for the event, all the playoffs matches (besides the GF) have to be bo1 to make time
Idk why they didn't just do a GSL group stage instead of this weird round-robin to make more time for the playoffs
imo switching out a player on T1 with someone like nitr0 would significantly improve the team, but i think an internal change in attitude and better planning/coordination could achieve a similar effect without the burden of signing a new player
