mm/dd/yyyy is of course another British thing that Americans inherited and never bothered changing. Its because dates used to be written out as opposed to writing them in numbers, so "June 3rd, 2020" makes perfect sense. But when computers came about it became necessary to writes dates numerically, and the countries who still regularly used mm/dd/yyyy swapped to the now-logical dd/mm/yyyy. Except for America of course. Although I've heard the military uses yyyy/mm/dd, like in Asia

Same in britain i believe. Ive heard british people who measure distance while driving in miles but walking/biking in km. Their height in feet and inches but measuring the length of an object in meters. Weight for people and large objects in lbs/tons but small objects and food in grams/kg. Volume of foodstuffs in pints/gallons but volume of gasoline for example in liters. Cooking is a weird mix of both. and then they use their own dumbass measurements like stone at the same time too

Japan to Korea is 20 ping, while even places like Moscow is 60 ping to Stockholm. I remember playing Stockholm servers from Western Kazakhstan and getting 100 ping

posted about 3 years ago

yeah they are far less experienced overall than the SEN players and its obviously showing here

posted about 3 years ago

fnatic chokers lol. they shouldve won both maps but they just dont have the mentality that sentinels do clearly

JP pro scene may be small but the country itself is definitely not small lol. 125 million people

Liquid 2-0

Liquid is suspect rn but Vikings look like absolute dogshit. 2020 comps and gtn just doesnt cut it as a duelist at this level

I'm interested in seeing how bad their icebox is if they're willing to play Haven over it. They got destroyed by sharks on Haven and sharks are terrible

posted about 3 years ago

mwzera best player in the world... playing against teams that would literally lose to a random NA or EU immortal 5 stack lmao

idk kinda looking like BR is pretty weak. lost to KR and VKS supposedly secret best team in the world barely beat X10

posted about 3 years ago

maybe l1nk because smokes are the easiest role and they would want to ease nivera into the game

On Haven you can have lineups on A and C from t spawn as viper and sova, obviously extremely hard to time it correctly but at that point it becomes almost uncounterable. Same on other maps too, you can just lineup from spawn and enemy either wastes literally 30 secs pushing you or try to stick defuse through mollies

also "just push" isnt viable outside of low rank MM, pro teams whos T sides are literally based around post plant will have multiple people playing back, so you have to spend time pushing, kill the three people playing off the bomb site, and get back in time to defuse

vanity was moving backwards and suddenly stopped moving, so i guess he knew that someone was bodyblocking him

posted about 3 years ago

V1 are probably the biggest abusers of it rn, they always use KJ/Viper and even effys uses post plant lineups on sova a lot

with wippie i dont think this is even a question, he is a beast on split

thoroughly impressed with x10, they actually looked good and not VKS looking bad

why the fuck would europeans learn or even care about the subdivisions of another country. how about you name every russian oblast or japanese prefecture then?

posted about 3 years ago

they also qualified for masters with a brand new player so

  1. it shouldnt matter that much

  2. shows that all other na teams are a joke if V1, who werent even considered dark horses to qualify, qualified with a brand new player, whom they most likely would not have been able to prac with much

what about sk0r

posted about 3 years ago

nah thats just a coincidence lol

https://liquipedia.net/valorant/Mun -> this is their coach who actually is named mun

posted about 3 years ago

they were playing with their coach "mun" instead of munchkin

BR second seed goes straight to upper round 2 but fnatic has to play in round 1?

posted about 3 years ago

wippie >>>>>>> jammyz

it will be tough, i think V1 still take it 2-1 but pretty close overall

posted about 3 years ago

CR had their coach playing too, it was more like a 4v4.5

posted about 3 years ago

they were playing with their coach instead of munchkin

posted about 3 years ago

holy fuck they are still playing, I don't watch KR scene that much and assumed they were still retired. Peri retired from csgo in 2017 and he comes back to play a different game professionally 4 years later and will even attend the first major LAN. Pretty crazy
