damn pansy not even an honourable mention? maybe i'm biased cause she's casted in most of the scenes i've followed, but i feel like she creates the hype where the hype is needed. also sully, and the sideshow duo. they would not be nearly as good separated. ehh he can do whatever he wants tbh. It just kinda sorta looks weird for him to say "oh who wants to join my team i wanna sign players n shit" then proceed with streamers. Completely fine if he wants to make a meme team, but he shouldn't have led with the initial offer then, or idk maybe announce that he will be proceeding with a content team instead of a real one (again NOT that he OWES anyone this announcement, but it just makes this new development unsurprising).
Her only kinda valid point is that it makes the scene look unserious in a space where it already isn't taken seriously . But if we're being a 100% realistic here......no one takes the GC scene seriously regardless. It's a charity scene, and nobody spectating the scene expects top tier valorant anyways (the tail end of #39 is an opinion held by majority of the general valocomp community). This take would've have been SO much more valued in a hypothetical world where top GC teams rivaled actual good teams, but the gc scene was still looked down on/discriminated regardless.

GC is all about representation and inclusivity n shit, so any and all attempts at uplifting the scene are welcome, even if it's meme-y or unserious. I guess her complaint loses substance either way tho, cause at the end of the day it's his money and his team, he can do fuck all with it.

Ig the main thing here was that he never wanted to invest in a gc roster in the first place, this content team was always the plan. All good then. If he'd wanted to put some money on the table, there's a decent amt of F/A scrubs guaranteed to make a good run, given the right support. Doesn't matter though, cause that was never the intent.
