If Tex didn't do a terrible Kick Off, maybe Lev would qualify for Masters Madrid. If Tex didn't have a terrible Stage 1, maybe Lev would win Stage 1. If Tex didn't have a terrible Champions, maybe Lev would win Champions. Literally the only good championship Tex had this year was the Shanghai Masters, and his Stage 2 was average.

posted 1 month ago

Where did I go wrong? Tex and C0m had a year with the worst average stats in all of VCT, on tier S teams. Maybe only Boaster had a worse average stats.

posted 1 month ago

I was thinking about that. Aspas is Aspas, Cortezia has one of the best aiming I've ever seen, Xenom has immense potential, Nzr is an IGL with a lot of aiming.

If I put it in pure potential, it would look like this:
Aspas = Aspas
Xenom < Kingg
Cortezia > Tex
Nzr > C0m
Artzin < Mazino

In this case, the only weak link would be Artzin, and in my opinion, Artzin is a great player.

Don't Mada and Verno also need to prove themselves? What did they do in Tier 1?

Eu sei que os outros 4 jogadores são bons, mas e o Prozin? Não conheço ele, ele é bom também? Posso ter esperança da Galorys ganhar o Ascension?

I was trying to put together the best team in Valorant, and I came up with 2 possible teams
Aspas
Less
Munchkin
Chronicle
Mako

and

Aspas
Less
Valyn
Chronicle
Leo

I was in doubt between Leo and Mako. Who among them would you prefer on the team?

Aspas
Less
Munchkin
Chronicle
Mako

Less's 2024 was better than Alfajer's. At the beginning of the year, when the LOUD stage was good, he posted incredible statistics, in stage 1 he was very good, and in stage 2 he was average. Overall, his year was better than Alfajer's, even though it was impacted by LOUD's terrible phase.

posted 1 month ago

i would say
Duelist - Aspas
Initiator- Leo/Sacy
Controller - Mako
Sentinel - Alfajer/Less
Flex - Chronicle
IGL - Boaster/Saadhak

In 2023, EMEA was a one-team league. Literally only FNC had relevant results in internationals, and maybe Navi who got a top 4 in Lock In, but was horrible the rest of the year. In my opinion, EMEA 2024 is stronger overall than EMEA 2023.

posted 1 month ago

I get downvoted every time I talk about EMEA being a weaker league than the Americas. Like, isn't that a fact? In the last 2 years, despite the international comparison between the two regions, Americas has constantly been in better positions, winning more titles, etc.

To summarize: EMEA > NA, However, NA + SA > EMEA

posted 1 month ago

Haven at FNC 2024 was good, but 5 of FNC's 7 wins were in EMEA, which is a weaker league than the Americas.

Hey everyone, now that the GC is over, I feel more free to ask this. Is there any actual scientific basis behind being transgender?

From what I’ve read, some studies suggest that gender identity might have biological and neurological foundations. For example, research indicates that certain brain structures in trans people may resemble those of their identified gender more than their assigned gender at birth. But I’m not sure how solid or widely accepted this science is.

I’ve also heard arguments about hormones, chromosomes, and social factors playing a role. Can someone explain this in simpler terms?

I’m not here to argue—I just want to learn more about the topic. If anyone has reliable info, feel free to share. Thanks!

Brasil:
Duelist: Aspas
Sentinel: Less
Controller: Pancada
Initiator: Cauanzin
Flex IGL: Zap
Coach: Peu

posted 2 months ago

Why Yay instead of Pancada? I understand that there is a certain difference in stats, but we have to take into account that Pancada had 5 different agents, while Yay abused Chamber. Furthermore, Pancada was the champion of the Champions, it doesn't make sense not to give him the MVP.

posted 2 months ago

It was just one of the factors, perhaps not even the main one.

posted 2 months ago

Maybe it's not a problem.

His choice to leave LOUD proved to be correct, with Leviatan having a much better year than LOUD, and Aspas being considered the best player. If this repeats itself in 2025, then perhaps he really is right to be so picky.

"Aspas Jett is not much superior to Demon1 Jett"

Average stats Jett Demon1 Americas 2024: 1.05

Average stats Jett Aspas Americas 2024: 1.38

Your mistake is to think of Demon1 2025 using Demon1 2023 as a base, whereas we should always use the most recent performance as a base.

posted 2 months ago

In my opinion, it is KRU.

They have a world class duelist, a world class controller/flex, an excellent sentry, an IGL who did a fantastic ascension and a good/average player.

This is a team with a lot of potential, much more potential than teams like EG/C9, who are constantly placed above KRU in tierlists.

posted 2 months ago

Leviatan is not in the top 3

Your list is heavily biased in favor of NA

Lucid as always.

posted 2 months ago

Com todo respeito, a EG não tá forte não. Sym é o pior duelista que eu vi no Tier 1

Tenz and Sacy are underrated

posted 2 months ago

Jett is not debatable. Demon1 has 1.12 Jett stats in 83 matches, while Aspas has 1.26 Jett stats in 173 matches. Even if you are talking about peak, it wouldn't make sense. At the height of Demon1, at Champions 2023, Aspas was the best Jett in the Camp, with the most impact and stats.

posted 2 months ago

Something: 132 Jett games, 1.16 stats

Aspas: 173 Jett games, 1.26 stats

There is no comparison between Jett of the two. Aspas has more titles with Jett, more iconic Clutches, more matches, more stats, more everything.

Is anyone considering really Lautaro!?

How do you see this? In the view of most Brazilians, Vini Jr is the person who deserves the Ballon d'Or, Bellingham is the person who deserves the most after Vini Jr, and Rodri is the guy that Europeans want to be the Ballon d'Or.

Look, Rodri wasn't City's best player, neither in the Champions League nor in the PL, and he wasn't Spain's best player in the Euro Cup, he wasn't even the best midfielder in Spain, Olmo had a better Euro Cup than from Rodri.

In my view, him winning the Ballon d'Or is as absurd as him winning the award for best player at the Eurocup.

"Their game plan was to play for Aspas the entire time" You are wrong. Icebox, Leviatan's best map, literally had no flash. It's a comp that clearly doesn't favor Aspas.

posted 2 months ago

I know that many in VLR think that Aspas was a baiter, and that's why he had such high stats. However, this statement only makes any sense in the Champions, where Aspas actually had a very low FK rate, largely due to Leviatan's style of play. If you take Leviatan's entire year, Aspas will have an FK rate above most duelists, and absurdly monstrous stats.

Kick Off: 1.17 rating and 0.15 FK (He lost 2 of the 3 games he played)

Stage 1: 1.31 rating and 0.16 FK

Masters: 1.17 KD and 0.21 FK(!!) (He lost 2 of the 3 games he played)

Stage 2: 1.32 rating and 0.22 FK(!!)

This data shows that the impact of the loss of Aspas will be absurd on Leviatan, much greater than most people expect.

posted 2 months ago

I hope this is a bait, because your statement is simply a lie.

Kangkang did not diffed Aspas. In the only match between them, even though they won, Kangkang was 13/12 in direct duels, with Aspas having a 1.07 rating, while Kankang had 1.01.

Neither does Miniboo. In the first match between them, Aspas had a 1.30 rating, being Leviatan's best player, while Miniboo had a 1.01 rating. In the second game, Aspas had a rating of 0.90, while Miniboo had a rating of 1.13.

posted 2 months ago

I don't know if you're talking about Miniboo or Kangkang, so I'll answer both ways.

Regionally: Aspas >>>>> Miniboo
Masters: Aspas = Miniboo
Champions: Aspas >>>>> Miniboo

Regionally: Aspas >>> Kangkang
Masters: Aspas >>> Kangkang
Champions: Kangkang >>> Aspas

posted 2 months ago

In my opinion, Kangkang didn't perform well in the Masters, nor was he the best on his own team in the Champions. Yes, he became a god in the final, but the championship is not just about the end, the journey is equally important.

Taking this into account, Aspas, who was Leviatan's best player in ALL championships of the year, has a better individual performance than Kangkang.

I know that Kangkang had a good ACS in both Masters, but you can't take a specific statistic and say that this person played well. For example, MIBR player Palla had an excellent FK rate in Américas Stage 2. Does that make his Stage 2 good? Obviously not.

posted 2 months ago

Miniboo above Aspas is absurd. Miniboo performed well at Masters Madrid, but did not participate in Masters Shanghai, just as Aspas performed well at Masters Shanghai, but did not participate in Masters Madrid, meaning they are tied in this regard. However, Aspas' performance in Champions was much better than Miniboo's performance in Champions. Furthermore, regionally we can't even compare, Aspas was MUCH superior.

Personally, I think Aspas' performance this year is better than Kangkang's, but that's debatable.

posted 2 months ago

It wasn't obvious at all that LOUD was going to win. On map 1, if it weren't for 1 very unlikely move by Sacy, LOUD would have lost. On map 3, if it weren't for Aspas performing a miracle, and taking the game to Overtime, LOUD would have lost. Map 2 and 4 were Stomps for their respective sides.

In short, it was a very balanced ending.

posted 2 months ago

LOUD performed much better than NRG this year, and slightly better than C9.

posted 3 months ago

He has been performing well for years, including having an average rating of 1.10 in 2024. However, no one considers him top 5 duelists in the Americas.

He had a better year than Oxy, he had a better year than Jawgemo, why do you keep underestimating him?
